I always order the same thing a "wing dinner" w/ extra order of cole slaw, and I've alway's been satisfied with their wings. They are served hot, and cripsy w/ sauce and not drowning in it, for a reasonable price. $! Then I go to the location in Euclid. Everytime I go to the Euclid location-I order the same 'wing dinner,' and it's like night, and day. Last week, on the 1st, I stopped in to get the usual, and I was very disappointed when I opened my dinner, after I got home to find over-battered, soggy wings, drownned in a watered-down sauce, and 'limp' soggy, french fries downned in the same. My friend ordered the rib tip combo, and a shoulder sandwich. The shoulder was not 'pulled' pork but sliced. It did not have a smoked flavor, and tasted old, and tough. Same with the rib tips--nothing but a bad tasting grissle. I wanted desert, however, I noticed that the cakes are now being sold for $3 bucks per slice, and the slices have shrunk (been cut) noticiabley about1/3 the size that I remember. This was my first time at this carry out. I ordered 2 whiting dinners and a catfish dinner. What I received was not catfish. I also asked for no coleslaw because I am allergic to mayonnaise and creamy slaw dressings. They gave me coleslaw anyway and it was touching my food. They should be more careful. People die or get very sick from carelessness with food. Also if you don't have an item say that. You can't give me a different fish like I won't know the difference. The service was absolutely horrible, the woman taking my order made it obvious that she was irritated by me coming in just a few minutes before closing but, the hours are not posted online or at the store. I asked for two polish boys, she asked if I wanted beef or regular, I stated two regular polish boys and she proceeded to tell the cook drop two beef boys. When I corrected her, her response was you said beef and I told her she was wrong I never said beef. It made for an uncomfortable experience and being a black business owner I support black owned every chance I get but, this was not the first time that I have patronized this location and received sub par service. Best wings in Cleveland!!! Been around for over 40 years so they have to be doing something right! They're sauce is bottled and sold all over the country!!! So many people LOVE it! The wings are battered and so delicious and you have a choice between their mild BBQ or hot buffalo which is not your normal buffalo sauce but is so good. The fact that they change their grease on a more regular basis than usual stands to reason why the wings are so fresh and OMG!!!! The polish boys are amazing especially the beef ones!!!! Then I hung up and called back several times for them to still have the phone off the hook. Sorry for all the spelling errors I was typing this pretty fast. 7 minutes ago My family used to own a restaurant pizza shop that also served chicken dinners, wings, seafood ect. for 15 years so I know a lot about the kitchen and food. These are literally the worst wings I've ever had from any type of place that is supposed to serve fried wings. You can get better wings at Dave's supermarket 8n the plaza behind them made at their kitchen. Low quality Wings most of it was bone, or cartilage very little meet. They bread the chicken with way too much breading you think you're getting this big wing but in reality as breaded like the chicken at Chinese spots. My fries were alredy made and were cold and soggy and not under a light. The chicken was already made as well. I don't understand that type of business practice for any type of fried food place fried food should not be ready and waiting unless you're popping off the chain like popeye's on Tuesdays. I would rather wait the extra 5 to 10 minutes And get a steaming fresh hot meal. The woman at the counter didn't seem happy to be there and she wasn't wearing gloves while getting my food together as I saw someone else complain in a review below me that they found the finger nail on their food and that the person over the phone said they wear gloves at all times while that's clearly a lie as I did not see one person in that kitchen with gloves on and there were 3 to 4 people. Of course the only one that should really matter is the 1 handling the food and chief was also handling my money for some reason even though there were at least 3 other people there. After a dressing those major key things of this business I would suggest a Pressure cooker instead of the basket deep fryer it makes a huge huge difference in flavor quality and taste. My plate still looks like from a far distance that it has chicken wings to eat but in reality everything in that plate is skin, bone , and lots of breading. I try to go to here every time I'm on this side of town which has been twice in 5 months. I love the wings. They are the best I've had in a very long time. I recently got a rib/wing combo. The Lakeshore location has good food. I do believe that if you call an order in you shouldn't have to wait an additional 15 minutes when you were already told on the phone it would take 15 minutes. The representative who took my order was very unprofessional and acted irritated when I gave my order, and I believe he shouldn't have been on the front line answering phones with that type of attitude.
