    $12 for 6 buns
    Chloe O.

Inflation is real!! Now 6 buns are $12. I was lucky to pick up super fresh buns of pork bb, curry beef & sausage. They were still warm when I picked up at at 1pm. I found plenty of filling inside and filing was very moist.

New Chinese bakery that just opened up inside the Sheppard Center. Grand opening special of 3 buns for $5 or 6 buns for $9 drew a huge multi cultural crowd. Line was long but wait wasn't too bad. It took me about 7-8 mins with 10 people infront. The store had a variety of fresh buns, each looking super soft and fluffy and much larger than the usual Chinese bakeries. Side comment, I have been to other Kin Kin locations and this one was the brightest, and the selection looked the best and most fresh (probably because it's grand opening) hopefully they keep this up. Taste wise everything tastes great. It's the usual Chinese buns you find in Chinese bakeries so no surprises. I got a couple curry beef, bbq pork, pineapple buns, and some curry beef and chicken pot pie pastries. Besides buns, they also have smoothies and milkshakes which they're offering free tapioca, fresh squeezed sugar cane drink which tasted very MEH, HK milk tea which I'm gonna have to try, and coffee, as well as some Asian Vita carton drinks and pop. Service was efficient, price was decent, food was tasty and fresh. Hoping they keep this up.

Look no further for the best Chinese buns in town! My favorite go to are the pineapple buns, almond twists and hot dog buns. I try to buy early in the morning because that's when they are the freshest. You can see the employees in the back baking so it's definitely freshly baked on the day of. I always have a bun from Kin Kin Bakery with their Hong Kong style milk tea for breakfast before work. The prices are decent and their bun size is larger than other bakeries I've been to so it's a good deal!

Passing by the pastry place, we picked up their Tiramisu cake on a whim. It turned out to be not too sweet, light and very flavorful. Also, it seems very affordable at the price of only $20 (before tax) for a whole cake, and they wrapped up the cake very quickly. I have not tried anything else here so I cannot comment on their other pastries.

There is parking underground at the condo, or simply park across and walk over. Food is made to order, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend their Insalata Burrata Fresca (salad), Roman Feast pizza and Veal Parmagiano pasta. But tbh, all items are great! And don't forget about desserts ;) They also have LLBO, so you can enjoy a wine, cocktail, or mocktail with your meal as well.

The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

When I ordered, someone mistakenly took my drink and confused it with their order. However, the staff was super kind about it and remade my drink, with a smile on their face! As for the interior, it was very aesthetic. Definitely had to snag a picture of their set up of coffee bags! The only struggle was parking, since there's no dedicated parking spots aside from the SMART VMC (Subway station) parking, which is a bit of a pricey ticket if you're looking just to get coffee or food nearby.

The coffee shop was visibly dirty, with stained countertops, crumbs, and a dirty rag left in the work area. The employees appeared unprofessional and careless about the cleanliness, showing no attention to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. I also ordered a matcha, which was poorly prepared and had an unpleasant, almost fried-fish taste. I've visited the Distillery District location, and the difference is huge. That location is clean, the staff are professional, and everything looks fresh and well maintained. This location (200 Apple Mill Road) definitely needs improvement in cleanliness, service, and drink preparation. I hope management takes these issues seriously because the quality of the experience is nowhere near what I have experienced at other locations.
