The Best! The crew at Kinetic is always welcoming, helpful, patient and super knowledgeable! Probs to Bruce, Cody and Jason!!

Has an opportunity to do a Retul Bike fit with Cody from Kinetic Cycles. The fit started with an assessment and then a motion sensor real time analysis of my bike position. Cody explained how position and the angles affected comfort as well as performance. We ultimately changed the seat height, angle, bar stem length and height as well as cleat positioning. Small subtle differences, but supported with data from the sensors as well as feel. All in all, a great experience and highly recommended.

Rating 5.0 TLDR: If you need your bikes tuned, fix, or upgraded, come here. The crew here is knowledgeable in all things cycling. And I'm always race ready when theyre finished with my bike. Dont go to a big bike dealer like Joe Schmoe's bikes (iykyk); support your local bike shop instead. Also, even if they are a Specialized brand LBS, don't let that deter you from dropping off your bike, theyll treat your bike like it's their own. Not TLDR: I've been coming here for over 5 years now, and they've worked on many variations of bikes that I've brought in: adventure bike, cruiser, road bike, and tri bike. And I have had little to no problems with the result of their tune ups, fixes, or upgrades. On an off chance a problem does arise after bringing it to them, they work diligently to identify and fix the problem. The crew is very professional and awesome to work with. They are very knowledgeable in all things cycling, and will find out information if they don't know the answer. I cant say the same for bigger bike shops I've had experience with, so I go here all the time. Also, a big thing for me is that although they are a Specialized brand LBS, they have always accepted my non-specialized bike and made me feel at home. In fact, I always see them working on all brands of bikes. They won't force you to buy anything either, they aren't car dealership salesman type LBS, so that's a huge boon. I'll definitely be getting a specialized road bike in the near future though :). Honestly, words can't express the satisfaction I've experienced with their services over five years and this review is LONG overdue. Overall, quality crew, quality ownership, quality service. I will be bringing my bike here for many years to come.

They charged me $500 for basic tune up. Way ripped off price in services. Find another store that has friendly service price.

The kids' bikes are in the back right corner. Everything looks really nice and seems to be good quality. The service was excellent. All my questions were answered and they had my cruiser ready within 30 minutes. The parking lot is free to park in. The shop is wheelchair accessible. They have stairs and a ramp at the entrance, along with automatic doors. You can walk around the city while you're waiting for your bike. There's several cafes and restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance. You could visit the State Capitol. Forewarning: You're going to pay, at minimum, $600 for an adult bike. Even a kid's bike starts at $350... If you need extra parts and accessories, I would recommend you buy them off of Amazon or somewhere cheaper. To give you an example: a tire pump here is over $100.

During my lunch, I've been taking my bike to various bike shops around the midtown Sacramento area to browse around and ask general cycling questions or assistance with my bike if I feel like something doesn't feel right. Overall, my experience with various shops have been just okay. I would get the feeling that because I do not have an expensive bike, that I'm looked at differently. However, with Pacos, the staff here are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I brought my bike in with some concerns regarding my gears shifting, and Pancho took my bike onto the rack to inspect it. I was prepared to be given a diagnosis and perhaps a quote to see how much they would charge if I had them fix/adjust it for me. Instead, Pancho just took it upon himself to make these micro adjustments himself and even identified that my front derailleur was crooked and my front wheel was loose. Again, Pancho just made those adjustments himself to make sure everything was properly before I left the store. On top of that, I was not charged a dime. Totally unexpected, but highly appreciated! Fast forward to my second time coming to this shop, I was greeted by different staff. Yet, it was still the same high, friendly energy as the last time. Ayrton was there to assist and help me identify and issue I was having with my brakes. The way he spoke to me and went above and beyond to find answers he himself didn't know was much appreciated. Ayrton is a very friendly and outgoing guy and made sure I was taken care of before I left. The culture and energy of the staff here have been a fantastic experience and I highly recommend any cyclist to visit this store! Their inventory was impressive, the store is spacious and clean, and if I ever need cycling services, I am definitely coming back.

I'm in my 20s now and know absolutely zilch about bikes. My chain snapped and I brought it into the bike kitchen. I paid $10 cash for the shop fee and immediately a volunteer helped me mount up my bike and get to work. He was so welcoming and fun to work with. We evaluated whether or not my chain was salvageable, and decided we should take a few links from a chain in the back, and add it to mine. It was only $3, and from there he taught me everything about repairing a chain. He was so nice and helpful, I used the tools and he kept watch to make sure I was doing it right. Sometimes that can be stressful, but he made sure it was a fun environment and we laughed almost the whole time. I could not recommend this place more. For them, its really just about the bikes. It felt amazing to fix it myself, and learn something about my bicycle. The volunteer also helped inspect my bike to make sure nothing else needed fixing. He explained it like, "you already paid the shop fee, lets see what else we can do". I hope I learn enough to volunteer here one day. Truly a 10/10 experience.
