This is in regards to my experience at the Vaughan location.
I purchased a product from Kinetic Konnection in Oakville and because it wasn't fitting right I wanted to return it. And because I couldn't make it in time (before 6 p.m. when they close), I called the Vaughan location (closer to my work place) and asked if I can return it there. I was told "yes, sure" and confirmed twice that for sure I can do that, was told again, "yes".
After driving and burning my gas for an hour on the ridiculously-busy-and-under-construction-for-ever Hwy 7, once I get there this girl with a confused look asks a dude comfortably lying in a chair if they can accept my product from the other location and the fellow says "no, you have to go to Oakville!". I ask for the owner or a manager to complain about the misleading info I got on the phone, the girl says "well he is".
So bud, first train your staff on basic stuff and then second get your 4ss up from that chair and provide some customer service to your customers.
UPDATE:
The owner of this location messaged me, apologized and offered a small compensation to cover for my gas expenses that day. He also mentioned he discussed the issue with the staff. I believe he handled in a professional way this incident and I hope this will improve the customer experience in future. read more
