I have interactions with all staff members regularly all of which are always very pleasant, helpful, and caring! They have gone above and beyond teaching my child Tae Kwon Do skills. When picking my child up they ask about school, grades, extra curricular activities, etc. In class Master Bun has worked to improve my child's confidence, holds high expectations for my child, and pushes my child to achieve those by giving constant positive encouragement as needed. Master Ron fixed a band instrument for us which was a life saver that night! Both Master Ron & Master Bun have been wonderful to our family and awesome to work with!

This ia a great place to learn about Tae kwon do…read more Having practiced Tae kwon do myself growing up I know how much you can gain from it - both in terms of discipline and control as well as from a sports perspective. The guys behind Sangrock are worldclass. Master Singh is very involved in the global Tae kwon do business and him and his instructors reflect the true meaning behind this sport. I had my now 9 year old in this school since he was 6 and he achieved some amazing things - next year my now 5 year old will start there (he asks me about it every day). This is one of the better schools in Charlotte - not primarily about "fighting" or "self defense" but about control and body/mind liaison.

They are running their business while taking care of their littles. They care about their business but they also care for their students and their students' respective families. They understand family life and they are fully aware of the current economy that we are living in. I inquired at other martial arts studios around Ballantyne and I have to tell you they charge thousands of dollars and they require a year commitment. At Master O's its NOT required to have a year commitment. It's month to month. Also, if the unforeseeable happens, all you need to do is give them a two weeks notice to pause or cancel your membership. I AM SO IMPRESSED with this Dojo. My daughter loves it so much. She looks forward to going to class 3 times a week. My daughter is shy and she has the tendency to be bullied because she doesn't know how to stand up for herself and I am confident that Master O will help her get out of shell and equip her with the proper skills to stand up to any aggressors. Master O has a promotion right now where your child can try a month of martial arts for only $24. You read that right!!! $24!!! A month is a sufficient time to determine if this dojo is for your child or not. After our first day, I already knew we will be with Master O for a while. The aura in the dojo is so light and it has a family vibe that you just feel so comfortable to be in. As soon as you step in the building, you will feel welcomed like a family. I cant say enough good things about this dojo. You gotta experience it yourself. REGISTER! You wont regret it.

Were so great with the kids and kept them entertained the entire time. They showed tricks and wowed the guests, let each guest chop a board, and even helped the birthday boy cut his cake with a giant samurai sword. This will go down as my favorite birthday party for sure. I was so impressed with the two instructors. Although they were only 16 years old, you'd be hard pressed to find more engaging instructors. They seriously blew me away. Extremely well spoken and friendly, they remembered every single child name. They were welcoming, attentive, And even helped me set up.
