Highly recommend. I did a LOT of research on water filtration, water softening, and water conditioning systems. I probably had 5+ vendors come and give estimates/recommendations. I was exploring the option of buying a Pelican system directly from the manufacturer and having it installed by a plumber, as well as hiring one company that did everything (sold the system and installed it). Next Level was the only vendor who ran tests on our water, and while it was interesting, fun, and probably an effective sales tactic for people on the fence (look how gross your water is... you need a filtration system), it didn't really weigh into my decision. I pulled the trigger because the customer service seemed good and the quote was very competitive. Communication needs a little work -- the people are nice, but on the scheduled day of installation, the technician did not have the correct equipment. It's a good thing I was on site to catch the error (they say you don't have to be there when the unit is installed outside the house, but I recommend being there at least when they get started to make sure everything is on track). I was also having to constantly be overly clear about "water filtration" vs. "water conditioning" vs. "water softening." I did a lot of research to make sure I understood these terms correctly, but the consultant seemed to conflate their filtration and conditioning. I might still be confused if I hadn't done my own research. The invoices are pretty vague too, so I'm relying on what I've learned about filters, carbon, TAC, etc. Maybe stick with "salt-free" terminology if you're interested in water conditioning. Hardi, the technician who came to actually install our systems was excellent. Very knowledgeable. He's also just a very pleasant guy to have in your home. Bottom Line -- highly recommend. We're very pleased with our systems so far. I never knew I could have this installed in a rental unit, but it worked out just fine! They also hooked it up to the line going to the refrigerator, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The water that comes out now is REALLY PURE (I test it with a sensor) and tastes, well, simply much healthier. I called to try to get service for my reverse osmosis water system. The first question was 'would I be willing to upgrade my full system' to which I replied that I would like to see what the issue is with my current system before I think about that. They asked me to text my issue to the number they provided and they would call me back to schedule an appointment. I texted probably 3 times and never got a response. I called again and was told that they got my text and would call me back to schedule. I asked if we could just make an appointment at the time since I had someone on the phone. I get that people are busy, but come on! I've given up. And I don't write these very often, but that's terrible customer service. read more

We had a whole house water softener system and an under sink RO filter installed with an insta-hot faucet. Trey and Hardi were great and very patient while answering all of our questions we had about the water softener system. Our main concern was having the activated charcoal in the same tank as the resin beads. After letting them know our concerns, they custom made us a tank with the activated charcoal on top which they can refill by removing the top and replace the activated charcoal without us having to replace the entire tank and resin beads (the resin beads have a longer lifespan than the activated charcoal). Hardi did a very neat job with the piping and even helped us connect our RO filtered water to our fridge. They're very easy and convenient to work with, and they're great guys. There's no water testing or long sales pitch like with some of the larger water softener vendors. Definitely would recommend to others! read more
