Once I observed the mineral buildup from using Garland tap water in my turtle's environment, I concluded that I didn't want that going in my body and decided to give this place a try. That was several years ago. This summer, I've noticed an odor and less than desirable taste in the tap water, which only adds to my reasons for coming here. Their water is purified and has no odor or bad taste to it. Just pure, clean water, like it should be. Very reasonable price to pay for avoiding potential health problems and the friendly staff helps out, too!

I was so happy to have found them because the location is very close to Hope Park. This place offers full service bottle refill, nugget ice, water coolers, and other water supplies. The process is simple: I back my car up into a parking spot, carry my water bottles into the store or if they aren't too busy and see me they will come out and assist me in bringing my empty bottles into the store, they rinse and fill my bottles with fresh water, I pay and then they load them into my car. Everyone I have encountered was helpful and friendly. They even let my son fill up his water bottle when we come from the park. The interior is clean and always has a fresh smell. The water is good, and doesn't have an aftertaste. They also offer alkaline water if you're in need of it. They have basic reverse osmosis water for pets, plants and diffusers. I usually get the purified drinking water for my kiddos to drink and alkaline for when I workout. Overall, we are happy with the water and service we get from Lone Star H2O. We will continue to use them for all of our drinking water needs!

You can save time by pre-paying for your water. This location is conveniently located in the same shopping complex as Albertsons and across street from Home Depot and CVS. There is usually one person working and he always has a smile on his face and will definitely put you in a good mood. We usually bring in four 5-gallon jugs and we're in and out in about 5-10 minutes. In fact, you can temporarily park in front of the store so you can easily load the jugs into the car after they are filled. The guy will even help you load the bottles without asking! I don't keep regular hours, and prior to using this location, I was scrounging for change, and driving from station to station during the hot summer nights when it seemed everyone and their momma needed water. Water is $1.25 for 5 gallons. The parking lot might be small, but it's doable. You just have to drive beyond into the lot for the 99c store if you want to make a left. Right only on Collins from this exit/entrance. There's an ice station behind it, but I haven't used it. So can't actually recommend. If you need a cap for your 5gallon jug, there's a dispenser. Spoiler alert: quarters only and it costs $2
