Nina, Emily, Kenny, and I believe Larry have all taken care of me at different times, and every one of them has done an amazing job. You can tell they take pride in their work and really care about their clients. I keep my nails on the longer side, and they handle them with care every time. No rushing, no shortcuts. Absolutely some of the worst ever nails I've ever had. I went today and spent $110. Basic pedicure w/gel & they gave me "colored acrylic" I asked for squared and honestly these look like a kid did duck nails on me. The ends are super pointy to where you can tell there was no shaping to them. They're all different thickness, length, none of them are even filed to the same size and he filed the top down so much you can see the "tip" Normally I get French tip on top of my nails & I only like dipped powder. I have a horrible habit of biting my nails and this man said he couldn't do it. MIND YOU IVE BEEN GETTING THEM DONE WITH SNS SINCE IT FIRST CAME OUT. I'm almost to the point on Monday they either fix my nails or they refund me my money because these are not it. They are hideous. I asked for a nude pink, they gave me straight mix of different nudes colors. The container even said "mix nudes" I even told him that I get sensory overload if the acrylic touched the side of my fingers. I didn't tip him because he rushed, when I say he took 20 mins to do my nails, legit no more than 30. I absolutely will never go back there as this was a horrible experience. read more

My total was $51 and 50 Cent, I guess they added it on $1.50 for using my debit card that they didn't say that they were doing and I get home there's an additional eight dollars on there and the nails weren't even shaped properly and lumpy and the only reason I couldn't tell at that point is because I always get nails with glitter in them . I went here the day before my wedding to get my nails done. I wanted the gel nails. This would've been my second time getting there, last time I went to a nail salon on Harbison Blvd (should've went back but I was pushed for time). Location: Forest drive in the plaza where Subway, Fatz, and Dollar Tree is. Its nicely decorated inside and I was seated immediately. Service - HORRIBLE Not the best in regards to getting my nails done. First, the owner was doing my nails and didn't understand what I was explaining for him to do. I just wanted the french tip look with gel nails - he kept pointing to different color nail polish. Then after filing and prepping my nails he excused himself for about 25 mins and left me soaking my nails. I eventually took my hands out after they began to look like prunes realizing he wasn't coming back anytime soon. I saw him do eyebrow waxing and wandering around in the back. Fed up with being left I asked the receptionist was there anyone who could finish what he started, she told me "Ohhh, he's the owner and ppl request for him personally." I really didn't care. Finally he returns and starts refilling my nails. Afterwards they were so thin and easy to break so I requested for him to stop. He moved me to another station and left again. Then another person took over my nails and applied the gel nails. After completing my right hand he started on the left hand. At first everything was going ok until the polish cured under the UV light and I noticed how warped they were, like bubbling underneath. So, I explained it to the technician and he tried to tell me that it was ok and sometimes they look like that. I wasn't falling for that mess. I've had it done before and the left hand didn't look like that. So i requested that he do them again and he did. When he finished the 2nd time it was much better. Charge: $40 and I didn't get an apology for them be so slow or anything. They were very polite just slow UPDATE: The next day, my polish started chipping. One week later I have chipping and cracking on all my nails. Now, when I went to Harbison it took about 3 1/2 weeks before any of this occured and I was working during that time. I haven't been doing anything this time around that would cause all this damage. I will post a pic. Needless to say I don't think they're qualified to do gel nails and it was a waste of money. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants gel nails and will not be going back for any other service read more

Worst nails I've ever had! The guy cut me multiple times while filing and still left my nails with super sharp edges so bad I kept cutting myself and things I touched after I left. Made an appointment here for my wife and my daughter, when I told the man that I didn't want my daughter to get gel they all of the sudden couldn't do my daughters nails anymore. This is after she was sitting in the chair and mentally preparing herself to get her nails painted. She is 4 years old!!! A couple of the other staff members saw my daughter and that she was crying and asked the manager to do them and he told them no. I am very particular about my nails so I go through nail techs really fast and don't give too many times for them not to mess up. But I have been coming here since I found them. My regular is gel powder. My nails do not lift, break or crack. I am a regular visitor and I also get coffin shaped for filing. So I love them. My regular salon was closed and I was in desperate need of a mani. What's a gal to do? King Nails and Spa to the rescue! I needed a quick, basic manicure and this place was open and nearby. The service wasn't great. There was a lady with red hair that seemed to be managing everyone. She was loud and was shouting to people. It was very distracting. The woman that did my manicure was very quiet but professional and my manicure looks great. There was much of a hand massage. She just rubbed a little lotion on my hands but the nail polish is impeccable. Ask for Mye if you visit. Overall the place looked alright. Not the newest or the cleanest. The pedicure chairs looked older and there was dust on the light fixtures. In a pinch I would visit here again for a manicure but I would not switch from my regular place. read more

Nice quiet atmosphere. It says no kids allowed on the door...I had made my appointments online and when I walked in with my nine year old there was not any issue with it. Worst nails ever! Super poor customer service and overall people skills. One of the employees were in a rush & messed up my nails. I asked if they could be fixed I was told I can only get $5 off and if I wanted my nails fixed I would have to pay a extra $10. I also received a gel pedicure and when I went to the car to check my toes the polish was gone please make sure you read the reviews and pay attention to what they're doing. When I tried to resolve the issue I was met with a attitude as if I was the problem. The employee at the front desk asked me if I could come another day but i live out of town. Then he jumped in my face an threated to call the police because I was talking. He said " I'm tired of hearing your voice." Then proceeded to yell at the employee who did my nails . I'll start by saying that I'm in this area temporarily for work and the nail salon I go to at home in Virginia is hard to compete against. Do not come here if you want a nice experience. If you are in a rush and don't care about how you're treated then this place is perfect. When i walked in i was immediately greeted by I'm assuming the owner or manager. That was great. And he offered me something to drink. Went downhill after that. Lady that did my pedicure only scrubbed one of my legs and she was adamant that she did both when I asked if she was going to do the other one. She went back and forth with me for a while about it. Didn't help that there was a language barrier. I just ended up letting it go. One of the worst pedicures I've ever received. Now onto the manicure. The technician did an ok job but was clearly rushing and not asking me if I was satisfied with anything he was doing. After he was done he slapped some oil or something on my hands and told me to wash them. I did that and before i could even dry my hands, the owner had picked up my purse and shoes and was practically pushing me out of the door. Goodness gracious. I won't be back. read more

I visited this nail shop late July 2017, while in SC for my daughters leadership training graduation @ Ft. Jackson. The location appears to be clean & modern, there were a lot of patrons there, including my daughter and I. It took a while for someone to even come out & ask what service I wanted & another 10 min before I was directed to have a seat for my pedicure. The young lady performed what I thought was a simple "spa" pedicure & painting my toes a deep purple, while my daughter was getting a manicure. When I left the salon & went back to the hotel rm I looked @ my toenails on the right side & saw how messy they looked - I was very careful getting into the car & had made sure my toenails were dry before leaving. The nail bed on several of my toes was not completely covered with polish & she didn't even clean up some of the polish that was on the side of my toes. I was so mad, cuz I paid over $30 for a simple "spa" pedicure, not to mention a tip, for what was not quality services or work. I've had better pedicures in LBC for 1/2 the cost! I immediately called the salon & spoke to the 'manager'. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service & he agreed to take care of it when I go back Sunday. When I arrive Sunday morning @ the salon, the short mgr comes out & I show him how poor the work looked... he mumbled something & had the same female who did the terrible job try to fix it... fine, let's do this. When she looks @ my rt side she asks if I want her to repaint my toes & I said 'uh yeah, you didn't do a good job when I was here last... can't u see that?' I tried not to be rude, but she was so oblivious to what she had done & I was irritated that she would ask an obvious question After she was done again, I inspected her work I had to point out that she still didn't clean up the edges where there was polish on my toe... she was like, oh ok, did a mediocre job, AGAIN! I was too thru I dried my toes & left disappointed with the lack of service & felt like I should've received a more attentive pedicurist (is this an actual word) or just get a refund for my pedicure I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone that is used to receiving a decent Pedi in Cali or anywhere else that does a QUALITY job. The mgr didn't apologize for the poor quality of service & didn't seem fazed when I showed him the results.
