I really want to like this place...I was so excited when I found this place a few years ago. I'm rounding up to 3 stars, but it may be more of a 2.5 experience for me. This place has a beautiful atmosphere and I've enjoyed my nail services over the years. The chairs are pretty, but aren't very comfortable if you're getting a pedicure. A few situations, including with an appointment on the day before my wedding, have made me question management's professionalism and customer service. I've purchased a few gift cards for family members over the years, but sadly I don't feel comfortable with gifting this experience anymore. read more

Needed a last-minute mani while visiting Cola and The Nail Barre had availability. As a newbie to this business, it was a bit involved arranging the appointment on the phone (they asked for a LOT of info) but all that was worth it because the services and payment were seamless once I was at the salon. And next time I return, it'll be easy peasy to get the appointment. Clean, bright, sleek decor, and my aesthetician Shaw was a delight ~ personality to spare (in the course of the mani, we solved all the world's problems, lol), really good and fast at what she does, and this is the first mani I've ever gotten that has lasted a week. Visiting my sister this weekend in Columbia and we booked pedicure appointments. Booking was easy and they charge 50% of your booking service if you cancel less than 1 day in advance. For my 9:30 appointment time, I got a call at 9:20 (while we were already driving) saying my mail technician was out sick (I had not chosen a technician) and they were cancelling my appointment. My sister wanted to cancel hers, but didn't want to be charged as she didn't want her service if I wasn't getting mine. The lady said she'd have to call management to get that approved. She called back within 2 minutes and cancelled my sisters as well, at no charge. It would have been nice to get a call around 9:00, before we left the house. I understand things happen and people get sick, but don't cancel an appointment 10 minutes before. Give at least 30 minutes to an hour notice. read more

Ms. Lois is incredible! I received the best eyebrow wax I've ever had. She let me watch the entire process while holding a mirror, and explained to me how the brow should be shaped according to its natural lines/angles which are based on the center of your face. She added brow tint as well. I've already scheduled my next appointment! read more

Came here again and will never be coming back. They had a new wax lady and she burned the area under my eyebrow and now I have a permanent scar under my eyebrow. The only thing they offered was a $20 gift card but why would I come back to a place for $20 when I have to wear makeup on a scar till the scar goes away. Completely unprofessional and then had the audacity to say because I didn't fill out the form correctly (skin allergies which I don't have any) they're implying it's my fault that I got burned when it was their esthetician's fault. read more

Had no idea this place existed. Great decor and ambience. I got a spray tan... it was very well done and it lasted.

I left a review for Lake Murray location. I came to this location to do my eyebrows with Taylor. I did not have an appointment but they accepted my walk in. I waited for 10 minutes for Taylor. She was called in to come and assist me with the eyebrow wax service. Grateful for her driving into the salon. Again the salon is elegantly decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. The ladies all look professional and have upbeat energies. Good parking space and and easy access to salon. Taylor did a wonderful job with the cleaning and shaping of my eyebrows. She also has an adventurous soul and enjoyed her conversation. Thank you ladies for your services and friendliness. read more

Bianca is seriously the best girl to get your eyebrows done by. I used to religiously go to Sandy when I was in college when she worked at the nail salon on assembly, near one of the college bookstores. She switched salons, and became highly unreliable. I was thrilled to find somebody great after having an amazing girl in Greenville, named Jessica. I'm sure I've rated her salon too. But seriously. BIANCA for brows and all of your other waxing and spray tan needs is the way to go. I've had 3 different women do my nails and they are all great. I'm a fan of the cruelty free nail polish and their sanitation procedures. I'm looking forward to my next appointments there! read more

I was disappointed in my experience. Make sure when you make your appointment that you know what's included! Not only was my tech 30 minutes late for my appointment, she tried to rush through the appointment and skip part of the services that came with the package I requested. I had to ask for the services they were going to charge me for! I went to the Devine St location and will not be back, I may try the Lake Murray location because it was a nice atmosphere and the other techs seemed to be doing a good job on their clients. Be sure to book with Tamisha. She was so friendly and even gave my daughter an extra cushion so she could reach the bowl. I'm 5'9" and the bowl was hard to reach so if you are shorter bring something to prop yourself up. Not everyone will set you up like Tamisha did my daughter. The chairs are not massage chair so don't book if that's what you are looking for. The entire pedicure was 32 min from start to finish including polish. Great for quick visit but not if you want a long relaxing 45-60 min service. Be sure to select nail tech carefully... not everyone is as accommodating. read more

Well, after listening to the night club music of the gym class taking place in the parking lot, I understood why I couldn't park in the parking lot for the Nail Barre. The chairs for the customers were very uncomfortable. Then, the gym patrons were traipsing through the salon, all sweaty and not wearing masks, as well as using the salon bathroom. Next, unruly children who paid no attention to their mothers came through the salon. If you consider working at a day care relaxing, the is the place for you!! If like most salon customers, you are seeking a relaxing environment, this is a definite no. And, the actual nail service was mediocre. I will NOT EVER return. A waste of $100. read more

I've come here for a basic manicure before, then returned for a pedicure. Everyone is always super nice and both nail techs I've had were so sweet and did an amazing job! My feet are pretty ticklish but the nail tech was so nice and patient about it haha. I will 100% return here for my nail needs in the future! read more

I went for a basic eyebrow wax and specified that I just wanted them cleaned up around the edges but did not want them too thin. She held up the mirror afterwards and asked what I thought but there isn't much you can say after the damage is done. They're extremely thin and one was shaped so poorly that it looks like there is a chunk of hair missing from the top. My eyebrows are so thin they've practically lost their arch. read more
