I come here all the time. Anne is fantastic, I would recommend her to anyone visiting King's, as well as Cindy. Anytime I get a gel manicure with these two it lasts at least 10 to 14 days; I work with my hands so that's quite good. I have even had my eyebrows waxed and trimmed here before and the experience was good: clean, fast, and they listened to my stylistic preferences (not too thin or far apart). It does get busy around holiday weekends so appointments are sometimes necessary; my mom always makes appointments here so that she always gets Anne. read more

I treated my younger brother to a pedicure & this was the end result! We tried to speak to the manager and she said she didn't come to the VIP room where we were because she "didn't want to deal with it & they could only take $5 off because he wasn't bleeding". After arguing with her for 10 minutes, they finally decided to charge me $23 for the pedicure. The manager was rude and unprofessional. I come in this nail shop every other week and this is just unacceptable. I was told that because his toenails were already short so that's why his nails came out like this...I came the next day & the manager's husband called the police on me. He lied to them & said I was being violent just to get them to come which wasn't the case. He didn't even let me in to speak to the manager. He was taking pictures of me on the phone & when I told him to stop, he said he can take pictures of me. He threatened to sue me & call his lawyer on me. read more

Clean and convenient location. It was an average experience. Told the lady when I entered what I wanted and was sat down immediately. The guy who helped me was quick. An the fastest refill n gel color change I've been too. The tech didn't talk much n I didn't kno his name. Total came out to $35 tho. Like some here who's military I am as well and I've always gotten compliments at work about my nails. I use the dipping powder and it's awesome. My nails always look professionally done and natural. The shop is very nice, clean and appealing. The prices on the other hand... not so much. I desperately needed my nails done before heading out of town and going to my usual spot wasn't an option. I paid $43 for a gel fill-in, and the polish job wasn't that great. I can see, and feel, where the nail isn't smooth. When I tried to explain this to the tech, she wasn't understanding in the slightest and I didn't want to cause a scene so I said forget it. Not to mention I was already flustered from being nicked multiple times with the drill. Might return to see how a pedicure goes but definitely not returning for my nails. read more

I picked my color and was sat in a seat to start my mani/pedi. The tech was nice and chatted with me while I got my nails done. Pure disappointment. Went in for a manicure and instead of letting me know they were busy, I would have to wait they rushed me off to the 1st person who apparently had an appointment coming. All she did was soaked my hands, cut the cuticles, and put lotion on. Since when does a proper manicure take 5 minutes. This was by far the worst pampering experience of my life. For starters, the tools used to do my pedicure must have been dull because instead of feeling soft as they should, my feet felt the same, if not worst, as when I walked in there. Next, my fill-in. One nail had to be replaced. Instead of replacing it, the tech simply "built" another nail using powder (yet I was charged for a replacement), WHY? I asked to cut/file my nails just a little since they had grown just a little bit. She informed me AFTER cutting them that it would be an extra fee!! WOW! At this point, I am livid with the entire team. I was going to get a design on my 2 ring fingers but opted out. It wasn't until after I left that I realize she cut my nails with dull tools and my natural nails were lifting from the acrylic at the tips! POOR JOB! To settle my bill, I pulled out my credit card and was informed there would be yet another "fee". WHAT?!! I have to PAY you to process my card so I can PAY you for services rendered?! Ridiculous!! I will definitely be contacting my friend at OSHA to get info on who I need to contact to shut down this establishment!! According to the lady that did my nails, she asked who did my nails the last time and I told her I was visiting from out-of-state. She then stated that they charge MORE than the state I lived in. Just WHY? More importantly, how does she know this? The State I live in has a much higher cost of living, so why do they need to charge MORE money?!! Since they charge more than others, why not invest in better tools and make things more sanitary?!! They also need to STOP charging people to process credit cards. I paid almost $100.00 for services that should have costed maybe $75, so they got over big time!! It's sad that our government give tax breaks to foreigners to start their business and this is how they repay their customers!!! SAD!!! My gel manicure doesn't look good at all. It's obvious that clean even strokes weren't used. The color doesn't look even or crisp. I will never go to this nail salon ever again. My husband and I were in town for my son's graduation at Ft Jackson and needed to pass some time between events. I decided to try King Nails and Spa while my husband napped in the car. I was treated to a gel manicure (my first ever) and a pedicure. The spa wasn't the most luxurious I've seen but it just appeared dated. They were very busy but were able to work me in. The technician that did my nails was just the sweetest! She was very quiet, but very polite and asked me questions often to make sure what she was doing was ok with me. The hand massage was outstanding and she spent a lot of time on my hands. I chose a french manicure and pedicure. The scrub that she used for the pedicure left my legs and feet feeling amazing. She even used hot towels and really did a great job with the foot massage. I was well pleased and would definitely return. read more

You never know if the pedicure bowls are actually being cleaned some places so I love the fact that on top of the cleaning of the bowl, at King Nails they place a large plastic over the bowl. This place is pretty good. You can usually get in pretty quickly, even without an appointment, except on Saturday afternoons. The atmosphere isn't the best in the world, but I've definitely been to worse. If you get the second level pedicure the chairs are nice. They have a private VIP room for the third level, but that's $50. The pedicures usually last a long time too. They also do a nice foot and leg massage that I loved when I was pregnant. Holly is in my opinion unethical, manipulative and cunning, My nails looked great the dipping gel was applied to the cuticle as close as possible none issue. Then came the buffing and sanding. Holly intentionally drilled back the polish and created too much space between the nail bed and cuticle. Resulting in the appearance of needing a fill in. I didn't mention it because it was too late it was nothing that could be done the damage was done and I had been sitting all day plus it was time for me to get to work. Also I've been there enough to know that I would be back and the next time I would discuss this with Holly none issue just let her know that I needed to communicate better about my nails. Then I noticed on Friday 8/18 at night that my nail was lifting on the corner. Once again I had been there enough to know that the weekend are like a mad house there. So I decided to wait until Monday to text Holly let her know that my nail was lifting and it looks like I need a fill in already. I said Holly I didn't just start getting my nails done and it has never been an issue before. I then asked her about the fact it looked like I needed a fill in, she once again blamed me, and tried to play victim like I was trying to be unethical and get free service once again if Holly would have taken ownership of the mistake apologized and said She would make sure it won't happen next time, she is manipulating and not a quality nail tech she's a scammer!!!!! read more
