Your nails will be cute. I've gone several times with a pic from Pinterest as inspiration and they do well trying to recreate. The flip side is they do get pricey and some of them have big attitude problems. My last time there one of the girls got smart with me and then they start talking sh!t in their language. I didn't care cuz I'm going to get what I want when I'm PAYING for it. Not sure when I'll go back just based on their attitudes. I've been coming here for years before Covid, before their expansion, and before anyone really knew about them. Now everyone comes from near and far to get the best nails and nail art available within probably 100 miles! They also do waxing, lashes, eyebrows, pedicures, manicure, etc. They are a full service salon. Now all the other techs have learned to do nail art, so you can't really go wrong with most of them. Ken is the best and his wife, and he's been doing my nails for years. I took a long break for almost 2 years to heal my natural nails that were brittle, weak, and breaking, and I also was pregnant and had a baby. I returned so excited today!! I've been waiting to come back and of course no disappointment. My nails are beautiful as always. They are quite expensive though for long nails with nail art, but I do believe they also offer regular length normal acrylics and manicures and have dedicated techs for that. Prices have gone way up but that's everywhere post Covid. Long full set with rhinestones/art including a 15% tip was $105.80. read more

CD NAILS OAK PARK needs to stop penalyzing their customers for the slow work of their senior family members in training. It took an hour for my pedicure to be complete and not for one minute where my feet soaked. The hour was not due to preciseness or it being quality it was just because of him being slow. I only got the pedicure to waste time while I got my fillin. When I got to the fillin chair I told Cherry I need my nails reextended with the black and gold extenders. She claims she could not extend them so I said OK fine then I'll cut them all down and Ill get a mini set. She then proceeded to cut all my nails off with the nail clipper in a janky manner then said she couldn't do the fillin because The acrylic was too thick. She should not have cut my nails if she could not do them. Oh Then she proceeds to get a nail and begin to ripping the acrylics off my nails so I stopped her and said no these are not even ready to come off because she kept telling me that I had to get a new set but because the shop was going to close soon she would not have to time to soak them off and will have to rip them off. Once again if you could not do what I initially asked you for or what I asked you for next then you should not have cut my nails. If dude wasnt playing around on my feet for so long then maybe she would have found time to service me or was she going to find another excuse just because she only like doing long sets? She should have said that in the beginning before she cut my nails. read more

The owner is a young chick named Nyla. She is a odd business woman to me because she does not have a credit card machine! She deals in all cash which is so odd to me for this day and age. That's the biggest inconvenience especially in the winter, in Michigan when your all out of cash but you spontaneously stopped to get your nails done. The way she manages her business in other respects is odd to me as well. Her ability to arch eyebrows has gone unmatched by any other Asian woman or man that I have seen! She is really good! For this reason I went ahead a dealt with the cash only situation. I personally cannot stand lashes because they are ugly and a huge inconvenience to the person that is waiting after you because they take so long to apply. I'm 7 months pregnant and waiting to get my eyebrows arched only. In walks this fat chick with really ashy feet. It was my turn but ashy feet was able to get her lashes applied first because allegedly she had stepped out and gone to the bank. I personally think that it does not make logical sense to perform a 20-25 min lash application procedure on someone who vacated their spot when they left the building; in front of someone else who had been physically waiting for a eyebrow arch that will take 5-10mins tops! She is just a bad business manager and apparently not very logical either. Go here for eyebrows. if your into waiting go on Saturday. Go during the week to avoid weird situations like this. 2 stars for the brows. Minus 3 stars for the poor business management and poor customer service. read more

I have been going to this salon for about 10 years now. The owner whose name is nala has always been really good at what she do. However, she's rarely there on time which is 10:00 am. I never thought about writing a review until yesterday. First I get there at 9:50 and theirs only 1 customer waiting but not for nala. The other worker get there at 10 and we go in. While I'm sitting there WAITING for NALA in walk 2 more customers and they go to the back where she does eyebrows and lashes. She arrive about 10:30 and head towards the back, I'm up front. She proceeds to start doing one of the customers eyebrows. I get up and approach her letting her know I was there before this customer and she tell me she's calling her sister to do my nails which I didn't want her sister to do my nails. Then she says she didn't have time to do my nails. WHAT? I left and will NEVER return. She lost a good customer who has referred at least 30 people to her which I will let them know not to go to her again. She will not be in business long with that type of attitude and I sure will let everyone know. Just to let her know I made time to write this review. BAD PEOPLE SKILLS and need to know how to run a business. Late all the time, like the other review she only take cash which seems fishy( maybe the IRS) need to look into this business. Hopefully this will help someone else before someone let her have it because she has a VERY smart mouth. read more
