I've been going to this nail salon for around 8 months every two weeks to get my nails done. I've hopped around nail techs at the salon trying to find the best one for myself, however after today I will not be returning . I came in for a typical service fill in, French tip and chrome on top. I've had this exact set done by several nail techs and typically pay 70-75$, today I was charged 85$. I was floored and had to take a moment before confronting the salon. When I asked for an owner or manager I was met with a barrage of people and I'm still not sure who the owner or manager was. I explained my concerns and asked for a price break down. 45 fill-in 15 French tip 15 chrome ------------- 75$ When I pointed it out that I paid 85$ and not 75$ they then asked "well what do you want" and I responded "transparency and respect as your a patron". I then asked "Do different nail techs have different prices at this salon?" To which I was told "no." After pointing out that the break down didn't match what I paid, I was handed a 10 and told "I give you 10 now but you better know for next time". With that being said, I will not be back. The work is inconsistent but that is to be expected with different nail techs, but pricing should always be transparent and consistent, so my trust has been completely broken by this establishment. I'm bummed because it was right by my work and I regularly sang praises to my coworkers. Ofcourse I'll be telling them something and different tomorrow. Im back to my old salon, Moral of the story if it broke don't fix it, even if it's alittle out of the way. I hope this nail salon services the community with fidelity moving forward. This salon is pathetic! 1. Don't ever try to give anyone a pedicure with cold water. If your gas is off and you don't have hot water, CLOSE for the day. (I threatened to leave and they got hot water from the back) is this what you did for everyone else initially? Because no one else complained but me. Next time give all your employees the memo to use hot water. 2. Stop pointing and kindly direct your customers where they should sit. Your customer service needs work! 3. Don't ever stand over me or anyone else and wait for a payment. You will get paid at the front desk! 4. Stop giving pedicures like your in the Grand Prix. 5. Really unpleasant customer service here. The woman who did my nails barely acknowledged me and rushed the job while watching a tv show on her phone. I smudged a nail while pointing out another that was uneven, she snapped "could you just sit still for 2 minutes!" $28 which isn't terrible but certainly high enough to be treated cordially. Additionally, I was asked to pay the entire fee after my manicure, prior to having my pedicure. Love Nails and Spa also only accepts cash as payment...nothing else, which is terribly inconvenient! The technician was too busy with personal phone calls to focus on what she was doing. She messed up my pedicure and appeared angry when I pointed it out to her. She reluctantly corrected it but never came back to apply the top coat. It is the worst pedicure I EVER had. The person who did my shellac manicure had previously done it before satisfactorily.This last time he gave me the WORST shellac manure I have ever had received anywhere! I came back and asked him to fix it. He wanted to do dip for $35 more. That was so crazy! So, he did agree to redo shellac manicure. Got the same horrible results! Worst service ever!!! Nail tech was argumentative the entire time! Tried to tell me they didn't have 3 change mood change shelic even though they had six signs advertising it. Then when I mentioned it again after my nails were done and the manager confirmed it was a product they offered, she refused to do a free nail color change even though it was clearly her fault. My mom had to wait over an hour to have her nails done even after I asked them to take her first, they placed her at another station and left her. I'll never come here again! read more

Disclaimer: I went to get my nails done on Christmas Eve, so please keep that in mind while reading this review. I went to Love Nails on Christmas Eve for a mani-pedi. I drove to two other nail shops in my area (there are an abundance where I live) - bur the first two were packed, so Love Nails it was. Here's the breakdown: The good: the shop is HUGE! Tons of pedicure chairs and manicuring stations. The shop was clean. My nail tech, while difficult to understand, was polite and efficient, and gave me a good mani/pedi. Also, they have matching pedicure colors to match your shellac manicure, something a lot of shops don't have. The bad: um...everything else. When I walked into the nail shop, an employee was berating his young daughter who was working behind the front counter (she couldn't have been much older than 10 or 11). Apparently she had difficulties reading the name on the sheet, and he was screaming at her. She started crying; he took her cell phone and threw it on the counter. Even after I said out loud "this is making me uncomfortable" he continued to yell at her and banished her to the back of the shop. He walked away angrily. I was going to just sneak out, but another employee saw what was going on and rushed over to help me. There was a bit of a wait, so I went next door for a cup of coffee. When I came back, they quickly ushered me to a pedicure chair...where I sat so long my water turned cold. I was just contemplating cutting my losses and going home, when my tech finally came over to start my pedicure. He did a good job on my mani/pedi...until it was time for the bill. I was charged $57 for my services, even though it clearly stated that shellac manicures were $22, and pedicures were $20 (apparently that is only on certain days, and the $22 shellac mani was only for the nail polish, and did not include a manicure with it). Overall, I was happy with the services I received, but I felt I was overcharged; with the abundance of other nail shops in the area. I am hesitant to go back. read more

Very clean and nice building however not very friendly at all. Was told to only allow to be seen by either Kim or Danny so I called 30 mins before arriving to see if either would have availability. Danny answered phone said yes he was available and I headed out their way. I waited to be seen for between an hour and an hour and 15 minutes. What I assume are the owners will pester the workers while they service you and have them step away from their clients while they work. I was very happy with the shaping which is the most important to me but aside from that it wasn't a overtly pleasant experience. I could not have a conversation as the person who serviced me was on FaceTime as she worked on me. When I spoke it was interpreted as an inconvenience. I'm very friendly and like to enjoy the small amount of time I have to pamper myself. There was no smile until I tipped and even then I'm guessing she just assumed I wasn't going to tip or something? I tip no less than 5 anywhere I go and demeanor changed after service was done. Service took maybe 25/30 mins. Heater to dry acrylic burned nail bed as I wasn't told when to remove. Would not bring children or young teens. Paint bubbled was told they'd bring my belongings to me while I sat at dryers they left it there nearly the whole time until I'd asked to have it brought over. They have signs displayed saying they are not responsible for stolen property so clearly either they or other customers have helped themselves to others property in the past. I wouldn't recommend though I would go back if I were in a pinch and in the area. Hope this is helpful as the reviews differ greatly. It was my birthday weekend when I visited. read more

This place had so much potential but the service is what truly makes people come back, and I experienced very rude and unprofessional employees. I love trying local places so I figured this one would be great because it's huge and has a lot of pedicure and manicure chairs available for customers. Honestly, I don't ever see it getting that busy considering the type of customer service I experienced. It's $2 to use a card, this is the most expensive amount I have ever paid to use a card at a nail salon. They also charge extra for everything! Really $2? This is to discourage using credit cards so they don't have to pay the fee and can also keep some sales under the table. When I went there definitely looked like some very underaged employees. Also there was a elderly woman that messed up her nail when she was drying it, usually employees fix it right away. The employee told the women "I will be there in a second!" She then proceeded to yell on the phone at someone and yell at another employee that seemed to spend his time flirting with the customers. It literally took her almost 10 mins to finally come and fix this women's nail. This was after the elderly woman sat there and explained that she usually doesn't have to say something twice. After she was fixing the women's nail she was giving the elderly woman and attitude. This is no way that you treat customers at all. Yes the salon may be new, but that doesn't mean anything if you have rude employees. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I came here to get a simple soak off and that's it. They were irritated I didn't want another nail service so they were rushing me. I had a damaged nail from an injury so I asked politely if they could not touch that nail or file it. THREE SEPARATE TIMES the woman grabs my nail and starts trying to file it. I pull my hand back and say please don't file that one its clearly injured. She does it again. After hurting me several times, she kept pouring acetone all over the work table and scraping it with a razor blade back and forth to clean it? I honestly don't understand the bad reviews! This was my first time here and checked in during my pedicure and saw all the reviews and I was shocked! First? This place is a pretty good size with nice decor. It was very clean too. We did wait about 20 minutes before we were seen. The staff is very nice and did a good job on my pedicure and full set. They have a good sized polish collection. The staff here are pretty young so they were up to date on the latest nail trends. Maybe I just went in on a good day (it's Labor Day weekend). read more

Ok I absolutely hate giving reviews but after today I had to. I have been going to this shop for a few years off and on now because I live less than a mile away. The service is never the best yet I go because it's close. Today was the final straw. The owner who seemed like she was rushing through to get my nail done did a horrible job. The first issue I had was that the colors on the shellac pallet they give you to choose from didn't really match the colors I had picked out that I wanted but I picked another color. When one of the colors did not look like it did on the nail pallet I asked to just change the color as it was WAY off. The entire time the lady acted as though I was a huge inconvenience I even apologized for changing the color because I saw that she was waiting to service someone else. But deep down I shouldn't have apologized for anything at all because I was paying my money just like everyone else. Every time I come here there seems to be a problem. I hate feeling rushed when I'm paying my money and I'm not at all one of those difficult customers either. My cousins and I come to this nail shop once a month, on Sunday's. Every time we come we get pedicures only. We have tried other nail shops around the area, and they are definitely the best thus far! The environment is clean, very spacious, and they're pretty friendly as well. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is, because the one time I decided to get my nails done here(acrylic), they weren't done to my liking. I got a square shape, and they ended up looking really flat, and the way he shaped them wasn't appealing on my fingers. This is where you come to get what you pay for. Do not expect any bells or whistles. I come for pedicures only, and each time the quality will vary. And of course expect the staff to speak to each other in their language with little to no interaction with you while being serviced. I always come on Sunday to receive the discount pedi rate, because the work is not worth any more than the discount rate. While the LOVE salon could have a great business going for it, the staff (mainly management, I fear) are driving customers away. I have used their services a few times and it was okay--but certainly not great. This last time, however, was horrible. I went there to have the shellac removed from my nails. (They did a great job applying the polish but...) My nails were wrapped with acetone and I sat thru 10 to 15 minutes waiting for the chemical to take effect. Staff seemed to be backed up and rushed to get customers in and out. This is when the wrappings came off my nails and the guy grabbed his dremel tool and literally started grinding each and every nail. I was too stupid to say anything. Three days later, all of my nails were broken down to the quick. It will take me months to get my nails back in healthy shape. Please don't let them bully you! read more

I had the most awful experience at this nail salon. When I come to a nail shop I expect to relax, unfortunately there was nothing relaxing about my visit. EVERYTHING down to picking my nail color was rushed. The man (#5) even began on another women in while I was picking my color then raised his voice at men when I told him I was paying HIM to do my nails and the fact that I was taking a little longer doesn't give you the right to start on someone different then give me an attitude. I have been to this nail salon a few times. Sometimes your nails look ok-ish and sometimes they look awful. The nail techs are always rushing and rough with your cuticles. This salon was very rude, the male and female that sits right up front is highly rude... I ask him can he shape my nails better he told me $5 more.. I said just to shape them...wow..OK so my daughter got a full set so that means she wants her nail shape the way she wants them.
