After that daughter drove to Last Chance and Jeff checked the codes. He gave the codes to daughter (to give to our mechanic in Wisconsin) and then he added oil (one code referred to an oil issue) and checked the tire for leaks. HOLY BUYER BEWARE - Buying a truck form here nearly put my company out of business. It's hard…read moreenough to make it out here without getting ripped off by another company. The long and short of it is they misrepresented the trucks they sold me. They didn't refurbish them as they marketed on their website. They wouldn't let me out of the contract even though I never even used the trucks they sold me because each one showed up all shined up on the outside but completely rusted out junk on the inside. Hell they even put electrical tape on corroded brake lines. Polished turds is what comes to mind. I lost thousands of dollars on this transaction and ultimately had to pay another company to replace the entire hydraulic system and another company to do the electrical all within the first few months of owning it. I would strongly suggest that you don't buy from here but if you are a glutton for punishment please make sure you have a lawyer revise their sales agreement so there is a clause that will allow you to get a refund if the truck isn't what they say it is. I had a lawyer review the contract and they said they wrote this so skewed in their favor so that you can't pursue any type of legal action or hope for a refund. Once you buy it, your stuck with it. In response: I won't share my legal name but I find it hard to believe your team doesn't recall this horrible deal you did last year, does this type of thing happen that often over there? I personally reached out to Erik pleading for him to let me out of this deal as my company was on the verge of going out of business due to the numerous issues these two trucks had. I explained to him and his management that I put my whole life savings into my company and buying these trucks from i-80 nearly cost me everything. He never responded and after a while, his management wouldn't respond either. Leaving a review on Yelp seems to be the only way I can get a response from the owner... hmmm I wonder why that is? I pleaded with their management for several months. I sent emails, calls, texts, and I even considered flying out there again to address them in person. Eventually the management there stopped answering my calls and wouldn't return messages. I was out of time and almost out of money, I couldn't deal with them any longer. I had no choice but to take it to another company to get it repaired properly. Cost me big money to get everything fixed on this "refurbished" truck. So sir, I won't waste another minute of my time dealing with your company to pursue this resolution you offered. I've already paid another company to fix that truck anyway. The only reason I left this is comment was to provide an accurate description of my dealings with your company as per the intended use of this website. As I said, buyer beware.
