I called my Roadside Service who said they'd get someone there soon. Numerous calls/texts back kept telling me different arrival times. Four hours later they finally texted me the number for Kendall in Rock Island and said they were on the way. I called Kendall and spoke with a real person, Kaylee, who was pleasant and helpful and said that Dustin, the driver, would be there soon. Sure enough he arrived and was helping another motorist he stumbled upon who was struggling to change a flat. He soon got my car loaded and we headed east to my dealer to drop it off. He knew exactly where he was going and drove safely the entire trip of 2 hours+. I was worried that a driver on a hot Sunday, 3 hours from home, would not be a joy to ride with, especially a guy 40 years younger the me. My fears were completely wrong - his attitude was so upbeat he made me forgot about the awful day I was having. We had a great conversation about many things, i.e. his different jobs, my different jobs, his goals and work ethic, his new son at home, etc. He dropped me and my car off and was still in an upbeat mood facing a 3 hour drive back home just before dark. To close a rambling story, I was stranded far from home and Kendall came through on a Sunday with supportive, friendly people who did the job better than I could have hoped.
