Within 6 months I brought the car back because I noticed about 1/8 of play in the ball joint. I brought it back because it was still under warranty. Someone there determined that there was nothing wrong with it. 1 month later I had to replace it elsewhere because it was about ready to come apart. Just today, I was told by another garage that I needed to replace the same axle that you guys replaced. You have really done yourselves bad. I am not posting a bad review, but I will tell everyone that ask for a good garage, that you are the worst. I wouldn't bring my little red wagon to you. We had to replace the flat tire with the 'donut'. We continued to the Quad Cities and stopped at Hughes Tire to attempt to have the tire repaired . We talked to Chuck and he was most helpful and friendly. He suggested we leave the tire and come back after the appointment. We did. He called us later to let us know that the tire was not repairable as the sidewall had been seriously damaged. Unfortunately they did not have the tire we needed in stock and could not get it until the next day. We decided to drive home on the back roads, as suggested by Chuck, on the 'donut'. When we arrived to pick up our damaged tire we were met by another employee who loaded the tire for us and volunteered to have the pressure checked and adjusted in all the tires for us. A third employee offered to check the torque on the lug nuts of the 'donut' which was good as a couple needed tightening. All three employees went out of their way to help us and make sure we felt we were safe on our trip home. They were all friendly and very accommodating. And for their service there was no charge. Their kindness and attention to us was refreshing and very appreciated. To those who live in the Quad Cities area I very highly recommend Hughes Tire for your tire needs. Thank you Chuck and all.

They didn't call and tell me the price had changed until the fix was done. They also called at 4:30 PM to tell me the car was ready and that if I payed by card they would add a 2.5% fee. So I had less than half an hour and no car to try to somehow get over $900 in cash or pay an extra $25. Really felt like they were trying to make a buck there. If they had told me when I called to make the appointment or two days later, when I dropped it off, I wouldn't have batted an eye. But to do it with so little time was really irritating. I also told them that I don't use my air conditioner and wasn't worried that it wasn't working when they said they found it was out of Freon. They filled it with Freon anyway and charged me $40 for it. I won't be back.

Fast forward, I picked up my vehicle expecting the issue to be resolved, the next work week I went to start my car and it immediately was overheating. The coolant was full and I've never had this issue before so it was obviously an error on their part as this was my first time handling the car since pickup. I called about the issue they demanded I have it towed to them on my own dollar and even if they found out the issue was due to them they would not cover towing. The lady on the phone even went as far to blame me for the issue. Very disappointed with the service at this point I decided to just bite the bullet and cover the towing in hopes of them fixing the issue they caused free of charge vs another business that would surely charge me as they did not service the car originally. Unfortunately that was not the case they continued to blame me for the new overheating issue while coolant was full on me and insisted on charging me again for their mistake. This business was extremely unprofessional from the receptionist to the service providers, I would highly recommend spending your hard earned $$ at a more understandable and less money hungry small business!!

Tony originally wanted me to take it to MC Tires, have them run diagnostics, then take it back to him to have him continue to work on since he couldn't figure out the issue. He guaranteed his work, and promised he would fix any issues for free, but couldn't seem to figure out what the issue was himself. When I went to pick it up, which I was hesitant to do, I wasn't comfortable paying him for an unfinished job, the engine was shaking. He had the hood open, and was standing there, vaping weed while working on my car, telling me he figured it out. He said if just needed a clip on this hose, that it was getting to much air. I drove my car off of his lot with the check engine light on. I took my car back to him a few days later for him to try and figure out why the check engine light was on, and he was unable to figure it out. He told me it was just a false reading. Yesterday I called him again, and told him I was planning on getting a second opinion from another mechanic, maybe even two. I wanted to remind him that I still planned on keeping him at his word, that if he made a mistake, he'd be fixing it for free. Last night my car broke down on I-74. The RPM's we're going high, but my car wasn't going down the road, and I couldn't put it in park, I had to use the e brake. I had my car towed back to Soliz Autoz. This morning, we got in a fight over my car, he refused to fix it, and told me to come get it off his lot. He would only talk to a male friend of mine, and said he didn't even want me on his lot. My car now needs transmission work, because of what Tony did to my vehicle. All of the mechanics I've spoke with say he's liable, and believe I should take him to court. I just want my car fixed and for Tony to keep his word, which he doesn't seem to be willing to do.

Even let me borrow a loaner car because I was in a jam. Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced in any genre of service. They also warned me of some other potential mechanical issues that may be developing, but in no way tried to force other repairs on me...said it could wait until I got back home. Price for the new water pump was under what I should have paid. I even saw the staff hugging another lady on my way out the door due to her being so thankful for these guys. It turns out that both the Starter and Alternator were fine and it was just a battery cable. I appreciate the honesty and finding out the repair needed was minor compared to what I thought it was. I have now had three good experiences with Duck Creek. I will definitely be back if and when I have another issue. I really trust these guys.

They also had a screwup on one of our cars and gave us a cheap bottle of alcohol that they get local as a sorry because they refused to give us any sort of discount. Yes, your oil change be cheaper versus going to a dealership , but you must first decide if it's worth the hassle! On another occasion, it took three times to change our oil! 1st they couldn't set the sensors right then they overfilled the oil, twice! We had to return two times to get the oil drained off! And not a single apology. In fact they were quite rude when I went in.
