At first, Chris seemed very helpful and worked very hard to problem solve issues I was having related to my HVAC working only some of the time. I called him on a Sunday when the temps were in the high 90's and the HVAC stopped again. I was desperate at this point to get it working. I was told by others to upgrade my whole circuit breaker. I called Chris after being recommended by a good friend of his. He told me he was taking his best guy off another job to do it for me. At 2:00 2 guys showed up. One left the other one to do the job with no car and very few tools. He worked through the night. My kids and I had to sleep on the patio because it was so hot in the house that had no power at all. It took this man 24 hours to put the panel back together. I later found out, this was not Chris' best guy, but his brother-in-law he called in to help. I have no idea if this (very nice) man was licensed to do this work! Chris was supposed to come back the next day to label the panel and install the ground rods. He attempted twice, and for various reasons, he never did this, to this day. After all that, the HVAC still wasn't turning on as it should. Chris worked hard to problem solve. He even helped pay for a reliable HVAC person he knew to get a second option on the HVAC, which again came out to be functioning fine. He and another gentleman came over with an external wire to hard wire the circuit breaker to the HVAC's disconnect and replace the disconnect since it appeared older than my new unit. This appeared to fix the problem, but after they stayed until 2 in the morning installing it, it again did not solve the problem. Chris kept telling me he would be back to label the panel and install the ground rods because the inspection is on Friday. He said this for several weeks until he finally told me he had been at CHKD because his focus was on his family. I never heard from him again. I also called the inspection office, and no inspection had ever been scheduled. I paid $200 to have the permit revised, and the permit office said there were no revisions to the original permit. Chris appeared to be knowledgeable and helpful at first, but he just didn't follow through with finishing the job. Do not pay him anything until the whole job is done no matter how little there may be left to do. That was my big mistake. The whole ordeal was a nightmare that I am still trying to get to pass inspection and I don't even know if it fixed my HVAC issues or not since the weather has been cooler now. I tried to file a complaint on Chris, but I could not locate a license number for him, so beware. read more

I do NOT recommend this company. THEY ARE AWEFULL. Chris was recommended by our pool contractor and initially his price was good and his workers seemed competent. As the project continued he repeatedly missed committed dates, failed to show up, gave excuses. His price kept increasing due to "unforseen" issues. In the end he completely stopped responding to texts, phone calls and Emails. We filed a complaint with the professional licensing department in Virginia only to find out HE ISN'T LICENSED!!!!! HE NEVER PULLED THE PERMITS WE PAID HIM FOR!!! and he never completed the job. We eventually filed for the permits ourselves and completed the work. THIS GUY IS A FRAUD. HE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. read more

I tried hiring him, Christopher Jolley, to run wire from my main panel to a shed sub panel. We agreed on a price and time for him to start, a Wednesday. I received a text at 650 the morning of the contracted date saying he spent the night at the hospital with his son and that he was not coming. I had already taken the day off from work for this. I gave him the rest of the week and weekend to get his affairs together. We agreed he could work the job in the afternoons to help us both. Monday morning I text and ask if 330 pm was good for him. He agreed. At 315 he text that he has been in the hospital for his mother and that he would be available at 530. I agreed. At 620 I texted him saying I wanted a refund and that a no show no call is unacceptable. He then said he already bought material with the $475 that was paid up front and that he could not return it. I asked him to give me the material with receipt and any left over cash. He agreed and would deliver the next day. He no showed again due to his phone not having service and him being in the hospital still. We live within 10 miles or 15 minutes of each other, not a huge inconvenience to have a less than 5 minute interaction. I then told him I wanted a full refund. He agreed and understood my wishes. Still haven't received my money. He has blocked me on social media and on his phone. He missed the first court date, the next one he misses could land him a warrant for arrest. I also can't find a license number for him to be an electrical contractor in VA, a requirement to do any electrical work. Stay far away from this con man. read more
