Walking in, I was greeted by Tony, who was quite friendly and gave me a solid haircut. The place was decorated quite nicely, and overall the place was small, but cozy. My main issue was the fact that the prices here were completely misleading! On Google, there was a sign which said that regular cuts were $20, a sign which I saw still posted on the inside of the shop. I would've thought that I could depend on the signs on the wall of the store to be accurate and that I didn't have to confirm the price of the haircut, but apparently I should have since I was charged over twice as much, a total of $43 for a quick 20 minute shape up of the sides of my head which I could've gotten literally anywhere. Nothing fancy, no scissors needed, 43 bucks for a quick buzz and fade of not even my entire head. I most definitely will not be coming back here. While not advertising the prices is one thing, completely misleading the customer on pricing is absolutely not acceptable.

I sat in his chair and he asked what I wanted - I showed him a photo of me with the cut I wanted and he responded with "perfect. That's all I need" Well, he started cutting away and throughout the cut it seemed like he had envisioned something else. He said "if we cut like this, it'll be better" and I hesitated on every suggestion but I said "as long as it'll give me the look like the photo I showed you". He told me no worries and to essentially trust the process. Well. Towards the end of the cut, I wasn't seeing the vision and he kept apologizing and saying things like "well I already cut over here. Can't fix it" and kept saying "ya sorry, your hair is hard to cut". He suggested "you just have to grow your hair back out" - like, come on, he was cutting 5-6inches of hair down to the skin. It'll take me months to get my hair back. At the end he said "next time bring more pictures" - I told him I had more and that he claimed that was perfect and that was all he needed. He blamed me. He still charged me full price. Seriously?? I paid anyway because I didn't want the trouble but I felt wronged here.

I've been going to a SALON and seeing the same stylist for years but she was on a vacation and I needed a haircut. It's only by luck I stumbled upon this place and oh I'm sooo happy I did! The first place I went had an hour wait and the second one had a teenager working that looked 16. Right away I was greeted with kindness and respect by the male owner (I believe his wife also owns it), told him my situation, what I wanted and he certainly delivered! Like he mentioned, a barber shop is completely different from a salon, especially when it comes to men's haircuts, and I wish I understood that years ago. I'm used to a 10-15min haircut, his was easily double that, extremely detailed and meticulous! I also decided to do a fade for the first time ever, and again, I am so mad I haven't been doing it for years, completely changes the dynamic of the haircut and makes you look way younger. I saw all the reviews for Bebe (again I assume his wife), but not enough reviews for him that are very much deserved. There is no doubt that he is my new permanent barber, I will be returning every few weeks, and I will probably never go back to the salon I've been going to for 8+ years.
