My recommendation: in the future, say there was credit card fraud, demand to speak to the manager, and refuse to be put on hold. Ask the manager for personal cell number. Post a bad review on Yelp and be tenacious in calling the manager directly on their cell until you get an answer.

They're so friendly, helpful, and patient. Also almost always have every item I need! Sometimes produce isn't stocked, but they always can explain why (production & supply chain issue etc) and can tell me when to expect it back. We go here daily, and literally there is never a line at checkout. If there is they immediately call for back up. Never going back to Safeway again lol

The self checkout person working that day also made snarky comments about showing our IDs to buy alcohol. I absolutely understand working there is not fun but that bad attitude towards everyone isn't helping.
