Walk in with a 50.00 dollar bill you'll walk out with a loaf of bread and a pint on milk. Plus you'll be broke. Overpriced, and the staff is rude. There is a security guard standing by looking at you as if your ready too steal. I felt like I was in a prison market place and had a commissary budget on a rich mans menu. read more

PLEASE STAFF ACCORDINGLY Let me start by saying, this is my store. I regularly buy my groceries here and have continued to do so despite usually having to bag my own groceries. I often hit the $1.00 off in fuel points which equates to, I spend about $1,000.00 a month. After tonight, I may need to find a new store. I did my grocery shopping at 8 PM Tuesday evening. When I got up to check out, I was concerned. All of the lanes were closed with the exception of the self check out stands by customer service. I hesitated thinking surely someone would come open a check out stand for me. They did NOT. Instead I checked out my entire order, at self check out. The self check clerk had to come over repeatedly to override the error it would give when I had to move bags to my cart. I do have to say she was very kind and helpful. Sadly, she was the only one. I counted at least 6 employees walk past me. Some even turned their heads to stare a bit at how many groceries I was checking out. I am pretty sure the manager was one of these. (Tall blonde female with short hair) and a lead type of employee (shorter Male with brown hair). By the time I was done, there were 3 people at customer service, although they were providing ZERO customer service. It took me over 35 minutes to check out, I spent $284.00 .....and I did it at self check out. King soopers, please take note: 1. I have a job, I shouldn't have to do yours as well. 2. Eventhough it is a nice store in a prime location, you have got to figure out staffing and provide customer service. WE ARE STILL THE CUSTOMER. 3. If you are open until midnight, you should have a check stand staffed until midnight. Literally no other business could get away with being open but not staffed at a register. AND GUESS WHAT, YOU SHOULDN'T WANT TO! please find some gratitude for the sales/profits of your store and realize those are tied to customers, like myself, who are far too often ignored in the store. 4. I have retail management experience, if you need some help with figuring out staffing and scheduling, I would be happy to conduct a training seminar for you. read more

Third time in less than 2 months they've left some of my groceries out of my cart, making it necessary to go back to the store to pick them up. The customer service desk is understaffed, so I had to wait before they could retrieve my misplaced groceries, making me late for work. First time this happened, they had to call a manager over. He was standing several aisles away, chatting with other employees. Took 3 calls on the PA system to get him to respond. That's it for me at that store. read more

I am so grossed out of how stores where food is sold allows people to bring their dogs in . I know that some are service dogs but not all. King Soopers is a store where food is sold and we put our food in the their carts and is disgusting when we have to put our groceries where dogs had laid. People with dogs should be more considere it about us who have to go shopping in the same store, and using the same carts. People bringing their dogs and sitting them in the carts where we lay our food is disgusting. It doesn't matter how clean or loved they are they don't belong in store where food is sold! I certainly don't want to put my food where a dog's ass has been. Today I was going to buy groceries I was in the parking lot when I widnessed this family and their dog was in the cart and out of nowhere the dog pees in it...yes in the cart! GROSS!!! People! Please use your common sense, that's where we put our groceries. My first reaction was I'm going to talk to the manager but then I said, no! just leave, anyway they're not going to do anything about it. And I left. Store managers please put a stop to this, is not fare for the rest of us, and this is not sanitary. read more

Help us help is coming help is coming! That's what we kept hearing from the register of the self-checkout at King Soopers in West Greeley tonight. Help never came. Even asking to staff members that were within 10 feet of us for a quick question, one was completely oblivious to us while the other one told us I am on break but I will be back soon and I will come and help you. We push the call attendant button over and over and over and over and over on the register and even when we left those two same staff members were standing visiting amongst themselves completely ignoring that we're even there, no thank you for coming in tonight, no oh I'm sorry I forgot to come back and help you is everything okay... We're done with this store read more

No baggers! To save money, no doubt. They will lose a lot of business because of this. The checkers are clearly peeved too. What a terrible experience. Even Walmart bags your stuff. I'm so disappointed. read more

The store always appears clean and well stocked. However, the checkout staff is hit and miss. Today the cashier completely ignored me while she and the bagger carried on a conversation, even after I had unloaded my groceries from my cart. I waited several minutes for the cashier to acknowledge me, or at least begin ringing up my purchase while she continued to chat with the bagger, but it wasn't until after I had grown sick of waiting and put all of my groceries back in my cart that she finally stopped talking and decided to acknowledge me. By then I was disgusted and went to a different cashier. Very disappointing experience. read more

As a grocery store, our family loves it! As a Pharmacy, it is awful. There is no communication between customers and pharmacists, or pharmacists and doctors. They have made numerous mistakes and have been rude even though it was on their end. However, we LOVE the Pharmacy in the King Soopers on 35th Street! read more

This is one of King Sooper's latest and greatest stores, their "Marketplace" edition. I must say, it is astonishing! It's got a fantastic selection of groceries in nice, wide aisles, esthetically pleasing decor, enormous selection of home goods at great prices. If all you need to do is shop, it is pretty darn close to perfect. However, if you need any human interaction, usually called "customer service"...Well, it falls extremely short. I have only had one positive interaction with any staff there (thank you, Brendan), but otherwise, it's been universally abysmal. The deli, the bakery, the check-out clerks and even the manager have all been extremely surly, poorly informed and impatient when dealing with customers. I have seen them simply walk away from a customer who was asking a question. They are self-admittedly always understaffed, which results in long lines and even worse customer service. I had to ask a clerk a question 3 times to get a straight answer. Turns out she didn't know the answer, which is fine...it's a new store, whatever, but she didn't want to do the extra 15 seconds of work to get the answer, so she just kept ignoring me until I made her find the answer. I wish the customer service was even half as nice as the physical store. Unfortunately, it's some of the worst I've seen, so I don't think I'll be changing my shopping habits to frequent this store...my local, non-fancy grocery with friendly, helpful staff is just fine :) read more

I've shopped at King Soopers pretty much my whole life and the new store has everything I need. It's nice having the fresh produce and deli with food ready to go. However, recently the store has gone down hill, especially the produce department. It seems like every time I go the shelves look bare and there's only one person there trying to do everything. As if that's not bad enough, yesterday I waited for carrots to be filled, but the guy who was working on that part didn't have any on his cart so he had to go back and get some. I felt bad that he'd have to stop what he was doing just for some carrots, so he said he'd make sure to get some next time he got stuff and I just checked back once I'd finished my shopping. He was really nice and had them waiting for me. I noticed he had a huge box of bananas on his cart taking up real estate so I joked that he got lost since the bananas are all the way across the produce section from the carrots. But he said it was policy, so that the bananas wouldn't run out. Well that's frustrating. He's taking bananas for a joy ride back and forth taking up room on his cart so I had to wait for my carrots! I could have made him go back and get the carrots right away, but I'm not that demanding. Evidently King Soopers cares more about making their people look busy than letting them actually do their job! I'm not bothered enough to boycott the store, but there's no way in hell I'm buying any bananas; I hope they all rot. read more
