I went today, picked up prescriptions and did some shopping. During a global pandemic I witnessed customers with rude and boorish behavior, and not wearing masks. No matter your PERSONAL beliefs , it is a requirement. You got an issue, take it up with our government, not a clerk! That being said, I witnessed patience and empathy to mitigate petty issues with rude customers. I have been going to this store for over 7 years. I consider their staff as family. Not only do I know their names, they know mine. Until life becomes "normal" I give them 10 stars out of 5 ! read more

For the third time in the last few months I have attempted to purchase an assortment of olives and other items from the olive bar. Nobody was working there, and although it was fully stocked, there were only a couple of containers and no lids. I went once again to the deli and requested help. One woman who didn't speak English well rummaged around behind the olive bar area, then said she would get help. A man came out and looked. Then went in the back. Finally said, sorry we have no lids. Offered to wrap the divided container with Saran Wrap, which would have been a mess with olive tapenade and grape leaves and all the juices in each item. Why does this happen....order enough containers and lids. Also, the area behind the olive bar is full of trash and overflowing trash cans. Awful. Why is one part of this otherwise great store so neglected? read more

This has been our pharmacy for many years and we have been very happy with them until recently. But in the last year or so the service and attitude of workers has degraded to horrible. In particular the male pharmacist is downright rude and always lets you know he is overworked. By the way do not go here for flu shots. They want you to wait 3+ hours IF they even have it or have the needles. Total incompetency! read more

Its my go to king soopers. I especially wanted to compliment the most wonderful employee in the cheese department I beleive by the name of France. Always has a smile and always makes fantastic recommendations on expensive cheese. Please pass kudos along or give this woman a raise. Great store but very frustrating that (a) in the AM you are forced to use the crappy self checkout (that require help every single time yet they are never around to help) and (b) you basically have to bag your own groceries while the baggers are either absent or standing around. They need a serious service pick-me-up. read more

This negative review is left explicitly for the pharmacy not the grocery store. Today I went to pick up a prescription, there was six customers standing in line to pick up their prescriptions, while four people were working behind the counter. I was not shocked to see only one person was attending the register. I stood there for several minutes watching as the three other people working behind the pharmacy counter looked up at the crowd but immediately looked back down and pretended how busy. Finally the manager came back from break and told one of the ladies to open up a second register this is not uncommon for this pharmacy they have the attitude that people can stand and wait for them instead of being customer service Ready. I'm not sure which line is worse the post office or the King supers pharmacy. read more

At 8:35 pm on a Sunday night I would not expect the A team to be working at any establishment, let alone at a grocery store. However tonight while stopping at this particular king soopers all four of the employees I encountered (who were all stocking selves or cleaning) greeted me and asked me if I needed any help. I could not believe it, every employee had customer service on their mind and expressed it genuinely. The store was clean, I found the odds and ends that I needed and the Sunday night crew did their store proud. read more

Really lovely employees! Everyone is kind and willing to help. The employees here remember your faces and ask about your day/life. One kind gentleman even congratulated us on our baby, shaking our hands with a giant smile like he was genuinely so happy for us! It made my day!The baggers are really nice as well, and they work hard. This store manages a high volume extremely well. We are sad to have moved away from this awesome store, and now have to shop at Parker, where no one is polite. We miss it here....well done for great service everyone! read more

I went in to cash my check around 6:00 pm waiting in the service line, the cashier was helping a customer so I waited. Another customer came to the line to the other side had to inform the customer I was waiting in line the customer understood. So As Rachel who was working the service line was done with the customer I proceed to the desk being that I was next in line, Rachel stopped me saying "I think he was next in line" the customer that was waiting on the other side that came after me let Rachel know that I was next in line. Rachel proceeds to go on and say " oh she was" as if I was lying. I felt racial profiled at that moment. She acted as if I was lying. Rachel made my experience at this King Soopers the worst experience ever and I will not be back and will not recommend this store to anyone. read more

Don't go to the deli if you are in a hurry. There were only four people in line, including me, and three employees behind the counter. Instead of three employees waiting on three customers, it appeared that three employees were waiting on one person. I waited 10 minutes and left. If these are the employees striking, let them go and replace with employees who know how to "multi-task" AND give them health insurance! read more

The pharmacy here in great! Ken the pharmacist is always so polite to chat with and I think sets the tone for the rest of the people in the pharmacy. The manager of the floral dept is the best. She did the flowers for my daughters wedding and they turned out great. I highly recommend her.

Just had our shopping list delivered today by "Scott" and he was very professional. I complimented his pen, and then he let me keep it! Store is okay but pharmacy has many problems. Sometimes they call when meds are ready. Sometimes not. Just called to see when pharmacy was open. Was told it was. Went over and it was still closed. Have to make another trip. People in the pharmacy are not always friendly when you speak to them. read more

Rude! If you're not in a shirt and tie then you are lower than these people. They certainly act very arrogant and entitled. I have been given a hassle here for everything from a bent ID card to a return I was trying to make the same day I bought the item and I had the receipt! Unfriendly checkers and untrained sackers. Not sure what has happened this year but checkers that you see week after week can hardly make the time to smile and the sackers don't know what they are doing. I actually would like to have all the sackers removed so that I can bag myself. Not only do the put cleaning products in the same bags as meat, they joke about overloading and trying to break bags you bring. And forget about asking them to put perishable items in 'cooler' bags - they can't figure it out, no matter how many times you tell them. Sad. read more

Every time I visit this location, I am blown away at the amazing customer service! There is always an employee nearby to assist, and say hello! I probably get said hello to at least 5 times while here. All their produce is fresh, well stocked, and stays good. Very helpful and knowledgeable pharmacy staff as well! read more

This is my favorite King Soops in the HR area. The Starbucks is wonderful; both times I have bought my coffees here I have been helped by Matthew, and he is SO kind and energetic with everyone, and is incredibly efficient and happy to help. I beg to differ on the review of Ken, the pharmacist! He is rude, arrogant and more worried about his line building up than helping the customer!! He cares not about helping to solve a problem and in so doing creates that long line himself! I asked if there was a different choice to the drug I need and usually I get suggestions,not from Ken. He just wants me to have another bill from my dr. If Ken suggested something, I could call my dr. on the phone to ask him. I did point out that computers are sometimes broken or give the wrong amount. He wanted to hear nothing about that! Ken also gives advice when not requested whether the customer wants it or not. The point is he may be a good manager and has no customer service skills. Keep him behind the counter not dealing with customers. There are some good workers i.,e., Christina, Jenn, Chance and Andrew! Ken creates chaos and makes rude comments about his own employees, too. I have been with this pharmacy for 20 years and I am tired of Ken's arrogance! Offer alternatives, not just to bad so sad take it or leave it! read more

Complete waste of time. Had 45 min to get to the store this morning. Went, filled my cart and added the digital coupons to my king Soopers as I put the items in my cart. Clipped the coupons on my list in the app. Got to checkout and no humans were checking anyone out so it looks like I was going to self checkout. As I checked out I noticed the coupons were not registering. I asked the only human available about the coupons a and she said they would be added at the end. I finished and hit pay and still no coupons. I hit Add coupons and the system told me help was on the way. Repeatedly it said this as that same woman fiddled with cans on a cart. I was staring straight at her as the machine continued to loudly say that help was on the way. Then the woman got on the phone. A waited several minutes until someone else passed by so I asked them for help. They told me that the woman on the phone would have to help me. Again I waited. Finally she got off the phone and came over. She told me I needed to add the coupons to the app. I showed her the app with my shopping list that had under each item confirmation that the coupon had been clipped. She said no, you need to have it in the coupons. I pointed to what it said. She said no that's the shipping list. I went to coupons where is showed the coupons clipped for those items. She said oh, well you need to buy the items that matched the description. I said yes, I did that. She asked which ones? I said all of these, items here in my coupon list. These are the items. She said I needed to buy those. I said yes, I have they are already scanned. Well the phone number you entered needs to match. I said yes, it does. She said, well it usually shows up at the end. Yes, I gathered that already. She said well we'll need to go through your bags and pull the items. I said no, I'm leaving. I've been checking out for over 10 minutes and you have been the opposite of helpful. Waste of time. Go somewhere with competent people. Do not go to this location. read more

This Kings at Quebec & C-470 in Highlands Ranch Colo. across from Kohl's is a nightmare! Wish I could give this Kings less that one star!!! The manager Karin, is so rude! Not a very nice person! I have overheard her speak so rudely not only to employees, but customers as well, as she has me & my husband when we needed help. She acts so putout to answer the simplest of questions. Oh....so sorry to interrupt your little chat fest, which is all I ever see you doing! Never have seen her actually working! My husband and I live so close & it's convenient, but we will not shop here anymore. The aisles are cluttered and the employees don't seem happy to be there. The store has a weird feel to it and is not a pleasant shopping experience. I do believe that all begins at the top. My neighbors have seen and feel the same about this Kings. Managed poorly and is probably one of the worst Kings to shop at. We were there over the weekend and thought-hoped maybe it had got better-but no, it hasn't. Save yourself the trouble of trying to get down the aisles....go elsewhere! Usually Fri-Sat- items not in stock-so a waste of time to download the coupon and come in. End up going to another Kings for what we need! Don't have time to go to more than one Kings! Skip this one! read more

Lucky for them they are the only option close besides whole foods. Besides the over crowding, no employee seems to know what to do or where things are. I went down the drink aisle and there was a spill. Worried that someone might slip I waited for 15 minutes in customer services as I watched several employees pass the obvious spill, to report it. It takes customers to report spills? I might go a little further or spend more at Whole Foods to avoid this place... not the first time I've seen this kind of "service" here. read more

So, my car battery died in this parking lot after shopping for groceries here late one night. I didn't have any jumper cables, so I went in and bought some for $27!!! You'd almost expect them to be gold plated. Nope. Just overpriced garbage jumper cables and a company taking advantage of people's misfortune. Then, I saw a little old Asian lady who happened to be an employee, and asked her nicely if she would help me jump my car. She stared at me for a minute then said no, and that she was going to be late, and walked away. Made me a little disappointed with the whole situation, seeing as how I only shop here for my groceries. read more

This is for the Pharmacy Department only. My Dr called me in a prescription at 4:00 PM. I waited until 7 pm to pick it up as it was a holiday weekend. I arrived around 7:00PM and there was nobody in line 3 pharmacists behind the counter all standing in a group talking. When I approached the counter they told me they would be right with me. A couple minutes later a lady came over to help me, Andrea I per my receipt. I gave her my name and date of birth and told her what I was picking up. She searched and searched in the computer and could not find anything for me. I explained that my doctor called it in at 4 PM and he text me to confirm it, I read her the phone number to the pharmacy that he called and she confirmed it was this pharmacy, yet could still not find my prescription. The lady was very rude to me and acted like I was lying about picking up a prescription. She kept telling me there was nothing there for me and that no doctor had called anything in for me. She treated me like I was a criminal trying to get drugs, penicillin to be exact. I asked her if he would have spoken to a pharmacist or if he would have left a message. She advised he would have spoken directly to a pharmacist and that I should probably call him to verify my prescription. I told her I doubt my Doctor would lie about calling in a prescription for me, that seems wrong. So I proceeded to contact my doctor anyway and leave a message that the pharmacy does not have anything from him and there is no prescription for me to pick up. About one minute later the pharmacist asks if anybody has bothered to check the voicemail. Are you kidding me? As she listens to the voicemail that my doctor left 3 hours previously my doctor also then is calling in AGAIN to talk to the pharmacist, an older woman. She apologizes to my doctor several times telling him it was on the messages. Then proceeds to tell me that they will have my prescription ready in about 30 minutes. I told them this is unacceptable as I have already waited over 3 hours. Andrea then tells me they've been extremely busy and didn't have time to check the voicemail. Clearly you weren't busy when I arrived, you were all standing there talking and there wasn't a single customer in line. The lady continued to be rude to me acting like they were too busy to help me. Not one person apologized to me for how they treated me or for not checking the messages and making me look like an idiot while I stood there for 30 minutes frantically calling my doctor. My Doctor then called me to verify they got my prescription filled. I always use this pharmacy and have never had such a horrible experience. Andrea needs some serious customer service training as does your pharmacist. Had I not been so sick I would have contacted management. The worst time you want to deal with a bunch of un empathetic rude people, when you're sick. read more

Friendly cashiers, good selection of foods and usually very well stocked...but what is up with the deli? Rude, surly employees act as if they are doing you a favour by assisting you. I even tried to go during the week after work in the hopes of getting a different deli associate than during the weekend and nope, just as rude and surly. I even went out of my way to go to the KIng Soopers on Red Cedar off MacArthur...their deli associates were actually friendly but for some reason the Red Cedar location does not offer Boars Head oven turkey....but what are you going to do when they have a monopoly? read more

They don't even rate one star! Husband wanted to surprise me with my favorite flowers. He went to the floral dept. and bought a vase an a bouquet. He wanted to verify the lilies in the bouquet were Stargazer lilies (my favorite) her reply with no eye contact was "mhmm yeah" he brought them home and look at me and said these aren't the right lilies are they, I said no. He felt so bad because the surprise was ruined. They were regular lilies. He went to another King Soopers and the floral dept. said that in fact they were not Stargazer lilies. The rose bouquet only comes with regular lilies. I called and talked with the floral manager and she swore up and down that what she sold him were Stargazer lilies. She was extremely rude. Talked with the manager Tony. Total jerk! He said the ones he was smelling had a strong fragrance like Stargazers and that he had a cold. So if he could smell it with his cold then I must be lying. I will never go back to that KS. Elisha and Tony should not work with the public.
