King Soopers at Parker and Stroh Really bad experience with the Morning Mgr. (Marc) When attempting to check out and pay for my purchase at the self checkout machine I tried to pay cash. Screen said " not available or not functioning" cannot remember which so I went to the next checkout station and paid, took my receipt, checked my gas points and walked out. Threw my receipt in the trash container by the exit and then I heard someone calling out-Sir I need you to come back in here as your checkout station showed I hadn't paid. I went back in and explained and showed the Mgr the screen was not functioning and that I had paid at the next checkout station and that I did not appreciate his insinuation that I had walked out without paying. The Mgr did not offer any kind of explanation. Just knda blew me off along with another employee watching the self check out machines. I went home and thought about it awhile and became more upset and went back and asked to speak with the Mgr and as I was explaining he abruptly asked me follow him and he pointed out the sign at the entrance the says they have a right to ask for a receipt among other things. well he hadn't asked for a receipt in the first place ( if he had I could have retrieved my receipt from the trash container) and he was exceptionally rude and it is quite obvious he has no concern for term "customer service". Good place to get a few things if you need something close. Update the shopping carts please, I can deal with anything but a cart with bent wheels or didn't even roll... And that is after the fourth attempt to find a decent shopping cart. Old grocer store but does the job. read more

This store is the worst. The meat/seafood department sells food that isn't fresh. The manager is very rude and there seems to be an overall lack of pride in customer service. I have tried to give this store my business many times but I am always disappointed. read more

From my home in Elizabeth I must go to Parker Rd for a King Soopers in Parker I either take a right or left. This one is a bit bigger then the other and a bit closer unfortunately the staff here is not as friendly & helpful as most other KS's. I was greated by some folks stocking but overall not much, not even a Happy New Years (shopped NYs day), or ANYTHING from cashier (male I think) and bagger (young female). I spent well over $500 and often do at grocery stores but my experience & how Im treated is KEY for me to return. I may be one person but as we all know if asked or like Im doing now I provide my honest feedback to all. Overall the store is clean & organized even though to find everything spread out in multiple areas not together I had to explore. The organic section was fantastic - best featured item in my opinion. Great employees with personable and professional attitudes. This store's layout has adjusted well to the increasing demand from local growing population over the past 20+ years! Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. If you ever call the pharmacy, no matter what time, you will be greeted with a "Hold please!", followed by 5 minutes of waiting, and then another "Hold please!". Followed by another 5 minutes of waiting, and then someone will pick up and hang up. So then you have to call back and go through the entire cycle again. If you finally do get to speak with someone, there will undoubtedly be an issue with your prescription, either they "didn't get it" or they are "out of stock". At which point you will be on your own, or have to wait until it's in stock. I would highly recommend going to any pharmacy besides this one. It will save you a lot of time and stress. I gave 3 stars because the store itself is fine. read more

READ!! I already don't care for this store - there are NEVER (and I mean, never) any sackers, they are constantly out of items, etc., but on Friday, June 28th, I stopped by to pick up some things for a party we were having the next day. As usual, no one was there to sack my groceries so as I got to the end of the checking lane, and walked over to grab an empty cart to put my sacked groceries in, I FELL - HARD in a huge pool of water that had formed next to the ice chest. There were NO cones or any other way of identifying a hazard, so I had no clue ... and I was in flip-flops. Was not pretty and actually, pretty scary. Luckily, I'm not older, as an older person would have been hurt badly. As it was, I fell hard on my butt, and my legs flew out from under me. Several customers ran over to me, helped me up and repeatedly asked if I was ok, with one of them saying, "wow, you're going to be sore tomorrow!" (and she was right), but my BIGGEST complaint is this ... not a single solitary employee or manager came up to me, acknowledged it, asked if I was ok ... nada, nothing, no one!! I heard the lady who was checking me out use the phone to call to someone and said, "yeah, we just had a customer fall on some water that had leaked from the ice chest" ... so I KNOW at least SOMEONE knew, but nope, I just hobbled back over to the end of the checkout lane and finished bagging my groceries. There as a younger male manager (I assume, since he was wearing a vest) who'd been standing 2 feet away, loading ice into the chest, he said nothing. No checker said a word, no manager bothered to check on me. Another manager, a blonde, very heavy-set woman w/a bun walked by, didn't utter a sound. I couldn't believe it. Unfortunately, once I got home, I realized in all the chaos, one of the items I purchased didn't make it home w/me so had to turn around and go back, this was about 90 mins later. I had my receipt so went back to find my checker, she was gone, and in fact, they must have changed shifts because I didn't recognize anyone, except the heavy-set woman manager I described above. She was checking out as if she was a customer so I assumed she was off duty, but wanted to actually confront her about what had happened and ask why no one bothered to see if I was even ok, let alone apologize. So I found a tall, older gentleman who was very obviously a manager (in a vest) and asked, "Is that lady a manager?" .. he said no, that she was one of "his supervisors" and asked why I wanted to know. I explained the whole schpeel and I must say, to HIS credit, he was VERY apologetic, and seemed extremely sincere (wish I could remember his name). He seemed dumbfounded that not a single employee or manager had asked if I was ok, and said he would let his manager - I guess the main person, a "Theresa", know. I just told him thank you, and that I wished HE was there when it happened. The next day and for a few days, I was pretty sore ... had obvious bruises on both knees and my right butt cheek is still super sore but I'm just glad I wasn't hurt worse. As my boyfriend said (lol) ... I could've OWNED that store ... no hazard warning, no follow up w/me, nothing. They're just lucky (as am I) that I wasn't hurt worse. Now ask me if I will be back ... a resounding NO WAY!!! read more

The remodel is awesome. Love the new layout and I have to commend the staff on their professionalism and ability to navigate these massive changes. A few days ago I was talking to a cashier as I checked out. We talked about the remodel and how big of an undertaking it was. She mentioned that she had a lot of customers chew her out on almost a daily basis. This makes me so sad for those customers (and for all of the employees who had to deal with them). If you find yourself in a situation like this, please repeat to yourself: "If the worst part of my day is that I have to ask where the grocer moved the milk to, I'm having a really great day." read more

Click list is a mess. They were totally unprepared for our order that was put in yesterday. I had to come back 2 hours later than scheduled, then wait in the lot for another 20 minutes. Substitutions were either not filled or completely wrong. read more

Worst store ever!!! I don't know if this store just has zero training in customer service or are determined to just make each shopping experience miserable. On multiple trips pricing has been marked wrong on merchandise from food to specialized items for the holidays, there will be HUGE yellow stickers saying a price but then once you're at the register it doesn't ring up correctly. Yes even after scanning your savings card. Then if you're brave you'll make the mistake of telling an associate only to have them tell you well you're going to have to show me- which means you then have to leave your cart of items and carry your child back to whatever section of the store that items happens to be in to have that associate "review the price" as if to prove you're not lying. Then there is always a reason as to why that's not really the price. Makes zero sense why they simply cannot take care of their customers and price items correctly. So buyers beware. Take the time to drive to Target or gosh even Walmart where they seem to have customer service training and price effectively! read more

This is the 1st King Soopers I've seen with a Starbucks & sushi section. The sushi selection looked great but I was disappointed the rice was so hard. I got a spicy sushi plate for $13 that had ginger, wasabi and two different rolls of sushi. The flavors were great but the rice was hard as if the sushi had been sitting there overnight. This King Soopers also offers a big makeup/beauty product section so I was able to get some Neutrogena SPF face cream that I was otherwise going to buy on Amazon. There's a Little Clinic in this King Soopers which is a convenient way to stop in if you're sick (with minor illnesses like sinus problems, allergies, flu, cold, strep, mono, bronchitis-nothing major that needs emergency attention) or if you want to get a vaccination (flu, MMR, etc.). The Little Clinic opens on weekends & also offers physicals & TB skin tests. They take several kinds of insurances including Medicaid. read more

This store has really gone downhill the last several years. I live 5 minutes away and have been here for 20+ years and it has gotten sooo bad in almost every way - out of things, bad produce, poor customer service, carts and piles of stuff everywhere. So sad to have to go so much farther to a grocery store when I have one so close but it is what I need to do. read more

Have spoke with the managers several times about the unfriendly staff, bagging my own groceries almost every time, and lack of items on the shelf (perhaps that just when I'm going). It never changes. This is my least favorite grocery store to go to, too bad it's the most convenient. read more

Went here on a Wednesday evening, only because it was on our way back from the airport, this is not our usual King Soopers... We were especially disappointed in the produce section, I bought the very last package of romaine lettuce, there were too many empty shelves throughout the entire store. On a Wednesday evening. The interior is an older layout, dark and dank, it has a funky wet carpet smell which gives off a bad first impression. The parking lot is atrocious with its pot holes everywhere! About the only good thing I can say about this location is that it has a gas station on the other side of the parking lot but other than that, we won't be back to shop just fill up our gas tanks. read more

I have shopped here at least 10 times and I don't think I have EVER encountered a single kind, or well mannered employee. I think the entire staff would benefit from some kind of customer service retraining, including the stocking team. It seems no matter what day or time you visit the staff are restocking, which I understand this is probably a high demand store, but they storm through with giant carts with a face that reads "move it shoppers you're in my way." One time I even encountered someone stocking who had the stock cart sideways blocking the entire isle. When I politely asked "please can I squeeze through" trying to pass with my baby carriage, he scoffed, threw me a dirty look and barely moved out of the way. Additionally, boxes for restocking consume the floor of the isles making it hard to navigate. At the till we try and make polite conversation..."How is your day?" A reply of "fine" and nothing else is said, if we didn't bother asking the check out process would be complete silence. Also, all the self check outs are always open, but if you actually want s human being to check you out, prepare to wait in line at one of the possible 2 tills that are open. I come from shopping at the highlands ranch location which I would give a five star for customer service. EVERY employee there is kind, happy, and polite. I would be willing to bet this location has a similar if not higher shopping volume, and I cannot recall ever seeing anyone stocking, certainty I have never felt insulted by anyone at highlands ranch. It is a very nice shopping experience. Now, at this Parker location I kind of dread coming here. If you value good customer service, this place cannot provide it. The Deli counter employees move so slow. It is taking more than 15 minutes for one person to slice one pound of pastrami. There are 6 of us waiting. Not sure if the managers know or seem to care since there is usually one sitting around, definitely not helping ensure prompt and proper service. Now that i have typed this review they still arent done with one pound of0 pastrami.. we are 20 minutes in. This is not prompt or proficient for the customer. I could have driven to the king soopers 20 minutes away and been done faster. I hope the managers see this because these people are losing the stores money. read more

They only had one soup for lunch. I know- I'm whining. But- if you advertise about how great your soups are, shouldn't you have more than one choice? Yes, they have cold prepackaged soups and a micro wave which is nice of them- I needed hot and ready. Additionally, there is no wifi which works and apparently they do not have cell phone signal boosters either. This was magnified by the table full of high schoolers being loud with their happy giggling and such. So I'm not gonna go there for lunch again. Usually King's is a good inexpensive lunch choice. Where do I start with this store? Just tried to cash a legit check at their 'Money Services' counter after waiting for 10 minutes for them to even get money for the drawer. While I was waiting there were 3 customers that came up to the customer service desk for 3 different reasons and they couldn't be helped for one reason or another. The Manager that assisted the customer service person was extremely rude. He didn't apologize for the wait and did not seem to be in any hurry whatsoever to help. After all of this, they couldn't cash the check because their system didn't recognize it. She actually told me to go try Safeway. I've been a customer at this location for 2 years and the management is seriously lacking. Boooooo. read more

OK, this place is very convenient but I really prefer the fruit and meat selection at Sprouts. I would kill for a Whole Foods in the area. All that said, this store does have a decent selection of healthy foods, you just have to look for it. read more

My store to shop - everyone is friendly. If you shop on the weekend don't go late on Sunday as the shelves tend to be emptied.

They just remodeled this place. It looks sweet. Better prices than Safeway, and it's closer to where I live. That's what's most important. read more

Well I've been a king soopers customer for years however we just moved to the Parker area and have tried this king soopers out twice. Sadly we will not be returning. This is the second time I've had to bag my own groceries (8 months pregnant) and have seen baggers just standing around. The cashier failed to acknowledge me and I had to say hello and how are you before I got a word out of her. Customer service says a lot and unfortunately this king soopers is lacking in many areas. We will be trying out a new store to say the least. read more

I am so glad they were open today as I forgot to buy coconut milk. I saw a balloon on a stick of a turkey I wanted for my grandson but it was too expensive. LauraLee in floral gave it to me for him. What a sweet kind thing to do. Keep hiring people like that as it keeps people coming back. Thank you for instilling the power in people to make those decisions. This is "the" grocery store to go to. Prices are reasonable and competitive with Wal-Mart and Target. Produce looks good, the butcher shop is good, the deli is good. It is always clean, and the people are friendly. The people in the pharmacy are nice and quick, check out is acceptable and the baggers always ask to help, which is nice when overwhelmed with two antsy boys. read more

Every time I go here I get mad. Been shopping here 10 years and many of my customary products are gone. Others are no longer available in small sizes and prices have gone up! After the renovation the aisles seem smaller, the shelves are higher, and I can't reach anything on top. I'm 5'7". Yesterday many shelves were bare. There are never enough checkers and I bag my own groceries every time!! There is no convenient way to get to the bread, you get trapped back there, the traffic flow is missing. I tried twice to get makeup and both times it was so old the applicator sponge was literally falling apart. I'm headed for Safeway :( read more

4 1/2 stars! I am probably in this store too much,today, I am trying to get an antibiotic transfered to them. I know the cheese gals, the floral gal and the starbucks people, and of course the checkers. I see people in the neighborhood there and we can catch up :-) Their produce, and selection for such a small store is actually pretty good. We have been going to the King Soopers at the Stroh Ranch location in Parker, Colorado. Initially (years ago) it was very good. Good selection of items and well staffed. Oh my goodness!..... They have been steadily going downhill over the past few years and now it's almost unrecognizable. Staff is curt, never have any baggers. Have to bag our own. Staff constantly complains about being overworked while you are being checked out. I tried to find a manager to let them know the bathroom doors did not lock and the bathroom was really dirty and she said "yeah, I know, someone already told me". Well, I wonder why nothing was done if someone "already told her?" My husband and I are at a loss as to why this grocery store has gone downhill. The staff seem so stressed and the selection of items has gone the way of the wind. I ordered some special items from customer service and the way my order was taken, I felt it was going into the trash (never heard back). The lack of interest was palpable. We are thinking about going to another store which is very unfortunate as this store is so very close to where we live. WAKE UP KING SOOPERS MANAGEMENT AND TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS!!! I am sure we are not the only ones to notice as it's the talk of the store from customers as well as staff every time we shop there. So sad that they just don't seem to care. read more

Love the new store on Cottonwood. Friendly, helpful staff especially in the deli and cheese section but through out the store as well.

One of the best kept secrets is the Angus. For the taste, for the price, it's the best meat from any grocery chain. If you know how to grill a steak, you wont be able to find a better steak from any Steakhouse around. The butchers are nice and always cut us fresh Angus Rib eyes. read more

This store has went downhill in the past year. I am constantly getting things home and then noticing the expiration dates have past. I have always wondered why the milk never stays fresh until the expiration date, but then one evening I noticed a pallet of milk and yogurt sitting in the middle of an aisle for over an hour...I got my answer. I have tried to point out things to management and there is an overwhelming lack of concern. Last night there were 6 rotten tomatoes, sitting amount the 'good ones', when I showed a manager walking by, I was told the holes and the mold were normal for that type of tomato...REALLY?!? I was in a King Soopers store last week in Colorado Springs and it was nothing like this one, so I can only blame the Management on this one. It is disgusting. With food prices so high, I will go elsewhere after 15+ years. read more

I used to love this store. In fact, when I lived right behind the King Soopers at Lincoln & Jordan, I actually drove down to Stroh Ranch for a pleasant, chill, enjoyable shopping experience. Those days are gone. First of all, navigating through the store is like a maze now, because all the aisles are cluttered with displays and specials and all sorts of stuff that shouldn't be in my way. Second, for whatever reason, this store insists upon restocking DURING THE BUSIEST SHOPPING TIMES ON WEEKEND MORNINGS! It's maddening! When I grew up, grocery stores restocked overnight. What happened to that idea??? And third, if those two factors don't make it hard enough to move around the store, I also have to dodge all the personal shoppers that also seem to be out in force during the busiest shopping times on weekend mornings. Finally, more often than not, I also have to deal with people at the entrance selling cookies, collecting donations, etc. I dread going grocery shopping now - something I used to enjoy. I will say that I haven't experienced a problem there with rude employees as some others have reported. The guy at the meat/seafood counter, in particular, is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. The deli people are usually nice too, but deli service is slow. The bottom line is that about two or three additional grocery stores are needed in the south part of Parker. Like everything else in overcrowded Parker, this store is like trying to fit ten pounds of you-know-what into a five-pound bag. I'm ready to give Safeway a try, because I truly hate shopping at this King Soopers store now. read more

On June 16, 2015, I called the floral department in the morning for a rush order for roses to be picked up later that same afternoon. Kyle in floral was super helpful and order ready ahead of time. This is my neighborhood KS, I'm here often and I would recommend the store EXCEPT for the wifi situation. I use to come here occasionally for a cup of coffee at the SB (though I'm not a regular, barista Nancy remembers and always calls me by name!) but the free wifi has not been working here for quite a while. I've had two managers say they'll "look into it," and I'm sure they did, but to date the problem has not been fixed. There are lots of reasons to come to this store, but DON'T expect free wifi. read more

The store is great, but the pharmacy sucks. Highly recommend going ANYWHERE else...the pharmacy staff is completely incompetent. I waited for 2.5 hours for a prescription that was called in after they confidently claimed it had not. I asked them to check every avenue by which a prescription can be filled (fax, electronic, phone) Finally, (after 2.5 hours of me sitting in front of them) they decided to check the voicemail. I go here all the time. I like to go after 8pm and before 9am. Gets pretty busy. Other then that its a great place to shop.
