The new manager Clinton was amazing!!!!! And his personality shows and shines on all the employees there! Michelle out cashier was so nice and personable!! The sushi we got today was fresh- and the employees who make it were friendly! I mean the cashiers welcomed you to their line! While shopping Clinton was training a new employee and sharing our produce should look, keeping inventory up and presentation inviting. I got overcharged 5.00 when I bought 2 packages of Cottenelle toilet paper that was $5.00 off for two packs of 17.99 each. When I called in to the desk, the counter girl was very rigid and insisted I come back to the store toting the double packs. I guess you have rigid rules. I prefer to shop at Safeway. They are more customer service oriented. read more

Be careful of delivery from here, it is always more than they say it will be. When I contacted customer service no one will seem to look into it or help. They act like it's a normal occurrence and they say that the online delivery system is just an estimate. But once they have your credit card information, they just charge whatever they want. This store has such narrow aisles that have large displays in the center of the aisles and then the employees who push the huge online personal shopping carts that take up more space and then add to that the employees who have large boxes blocking the aisles while they stock and it makes for a very crowded, claustrophobic feeling store that is dimly lit, with cranky customers and employees. If I shop here, it's never for more than one or two things because it's a cramped, unpleasant atmosphere. The food selection is good, but I can't stand to be in the store long enough to care. read more

I am sad to say that this location gave me very poor service. I came in here to grab a hot lunch but when I arrived at the deli, the hot foods section was closed. When I asked an employee if the section would be opening soon I was given a very rude answer about them being understaffed and they don't serve hot foods any more until they can hire more people. Special thanks to Tasha and the evening crew. I lived in Parker for several months and was a regular at this location from the spring through the summer. I often went in the evening after work and I want to compliment the staff. They are super friendly and helpful and having been in there so often, I can really say that they care about the store and customers. I don't think I ever waited in line, even when it's a busier time they keep the customers turning over at check out and there are two full self checkout lanes. I bought a lot of different steaks here and they were always fresh, delicious and packed well. The pharmacist decided she didn't like the dosage of a regular medication I take. She acknowledged that my records show the same dosage over 5 years without issue. She even spoke with my specialist who prescribes the medication and still refuses to fill it. It's not a problem to go elsewhere. My regular KS pharmacy confirmed they will continue fill it without issue moving forward. I've never experienced a pharmacist who believes they know better than an actual specialist. It's just really inconvenient. read more

I decide to run into this location today to grab a few things. When I got over to the sausages section there was someone stocking that area. Their uboat was completely blocking the whole section that I needed to get into and they had boxes stacked directly in front of the item I wanted. No biggie, I thought, I moved my cart out of the way of traffic and waited until the employee turned around. When he saw I was waiting he said "do you need something?". I replied that I needed some sausages, to which he said, "you can come in here and get them you know". Now... the area that he was standing in was a tiny rectangle created by the uboat and the wall of refrigerators.., and he was a bigger guy. He also had the door to the frig open, leaving about a foot of space. He made no move to come out so I could get in there and get what I wanted. I just stood there kinda flabbergasted that this stranger wanted me to rub up on him in this small space, then move all his boxes and trash just to get an item. While I was standing there he sighed and then proceeded to explain to me (like I was a child) that he needed to stock his entire uboat first. This is when I left the store. King Soopers knocked it out of the Park for us on Thanksgiving. It was a last minute decision to order our Holiday Dinner. The Deli Department was friendly & very informative on helping us pick the right meal for us. The Spiral Ham Dinner was "DELICIOUS" - The package included all the fixings & a pie. I have watched the variety at this store go away over time. King Soopers used to be known for its selection and options. Now, I see fewer and fewer choices. I was unable to find a Prego pasta sauce that I can readily find at other stores at this King Soopers. I thought I had some in my pantry, but I didn't. I was near KS and thought I'd pop in to get a refill, rather than heading to Safeway. I couldn't find what I wanted to KS. To be honest, the store staff is pretty friendly and they always greet me with a smile, but I just wish the selection was there again. read more

Power hungry managrs. Very disappointing, I did love this location. People and our community need to pull together during these difficult times. The managers at this location do the opposite. The pharmacy is the reason that I came to this King Soopers and switched from Walgreens who was horrible. Then King Soopers hired the entire Walgreens staff. Now it is the same problems that Walgreens had. Prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to be, incredibly rude staff, rolling eyes at their customers, and making inappropriate catty comments about their customers the second they walk away. The employees at King Soopers need training in respect and management needs to teach proper attitude! 1) Zac (Cashier) was extremely rude to us on Sunday, April 25, 2021. 2) Service Desk (tall blond) acted like we were putting them out to help us. 3) Starbucks (one person working) decided to refill the ice machine (we were ordering "HOT" coffees. First, we waited while she finished making the drinks ahead of us and we looked around and she was filling a large bucket with ice. I have been coming to this grocery store for 14 years. The employees are all so amazing and obviously have been empowered by their managers and staff to always put costumers needs first. They always do it in a way that seems effortless and without question. Most recently, Quan was just that person the other day. He didn't know who I was or how my day was going but it didn't matter - I asked for help and he jumped in to help locate an item even staying with me until he found an answer. I thought he had given up when sure enough he turned up when I was in the line. Turns out he gone to his supervisor to find an answers to if King Soopers carried the old disposable cameras. They don't but he assured me that Walgreens does. This is excellent costumer service. He not only tried his best but when he came up empty he gave me a solution even if it wasn't his store. I've been shopping at this KS location for years. In that time I've seen the aisles become more and more narrow, while several obstacles have been placed in each aisle contributing to the frustration. I can't take a normal sized carry down an aisle without needing to stop and/or move over for other shoppers. On top of that, Kings has started placing more stupid items on the glass doors in the freezer section, which makes it difficult to see what is in the freezer. I'm going to stop shopping at Kings of I can find a more customer friendly grocer. read more

A really nice Kings. It is clean and well laid out. It is also crazy busy! The customer service section is a bit weird as it is not off to the side like other Kings but kind of floating to the right of the doorway. This lead to awkward lines out into the flow of traffic. They do seem to have plenty of checkers and you generally don't get stuck in a long line to get out of there. So that is a definite plus! read more

It's weird for me to think about writing a review for a local grocery store but I do visit this King Soopers (KS) location about once a week.. so why not? I didn't take any photos but it's always well supplied, well kept, and clean. I'm a person who tries to do self-checkout every chance possible. This KS location seems to consistently have friendly self-checkout workers who seem to enjoy assisting customers. I never had a negative experience here. However, I don't like how crowded it can be in the afternoons most days. Mornings are always best to go! I'm unsure if this location is 24 hours. Oh, my kids love that they're always well stocked with FREE kids cookies in the bakery. read more

I went into King Sooper's Pharmacy to switch all of my prescriptions over and to fill a valid prescription I have for pain medication. You see, my hip implants cannot be replaced or revised because the bone has completely worn away between the implants and my pelvis. That doesn't stop my implants from causing me tons of pain. We (my doctor and I) are trying to get me to a stable place where I can leave the house more than once a week. She snidely lectured me about my safety and the pain prescription I had given her and suggested I do something else for the pain because she wouldn't be filling my prescription. I personally believe that conversation is between me and my pain management doctor, who wrote the book on the tongue dissolvable Fentanyl. But thanks for the very loud lecture that left no confusion in any other customer's mind about what we were discussing. I hope you stick to things you know, like Ibuprofen, and leave the severe, unrelenting pain to specialists like my doctor. They know more about it than you do. Thanks. read more

This place is growing on me. It isn't the most modern or upscale as some of the newer King Soopers that are going in but it gets the job done. The organic section continues to slowly get better. The meat and deli counters are fine, not amazing, but again, it gets the job done. read more

The store has gone from bad to worse. Without fail, I have to visit multiple stores order to complete my basic list. On weeknights at 6 pm, you'll find a whopping 3 checkers for the 200 people sardined together. I asked an employee to help me find an item, and without hesitation told me they were out. Turns out, he was standing right in front of it and blocking it from mg view. PS I can't remember the time I didn't have to bag every single grocery by myself, as the checker looked on or rushed me out. I'll continue to drive 20 minutes out to the other location. read more

The people who work unfortunately are extremely unhelpful. A home delivery never made its way to me. After being on hold with Kroger for 50 minutes, they transferred me to a voicemail system. I then called the local store I ordered from (this one) two different associates were unable to assist and told me it wasn't their problem. I understand things are crazy right now but I just wanted to cancel my order at this point and ensure I wasn't charged. The person (big lady with grey hair) at the door is absolutely horrible. I have issues with my legs so I can't walk for extended periods of time but of course no one thinks that when they look at a younger woman. I ride in the carts because it tends to be easier and not one store commented on it. Walmart even offered me a electric cart because they were worried. She talked to me condescendingly and honestly it's disgusting that she would talk to another person like that. I had to walk around the store almost falling over with the support of my boyfriend while she just talked to another lady about the "annoying" stunt I pulled. Now that I am a resident of the suburbs, I have to find a grocery store that wets my whistle as well as Whole Foods did. See, when you are on the New Mexico border living in Parker, Whole Foods is not known to a whole lot of people. Enter King Soopers. While it's not Whole Foods in terms of it's product selection, it is a nice clean store with a bit of a country cabin feeling. And they have at least some of my favorite products like Noosa Yogurt and Xing Tea. The deli products are only average, and the meat department is a sad state of affairs when comparing products carried by Whole Foods. Once you fight the soccer moms for the last extra large bag of shredded cheese, you end up hitting the check out area where a bunch of pimply teenagers are goofing around and making weird and uninteresting conversation. At this point, I just want to get the hell out of the store, not be held up against my will while listening to a review of the latest anime flick. Sorry, King Soopers, you'll never be a star. But at least you have a little bit of talent to offer those of us depressed in the suburbs. read more

This will be my last trip to the deli at this King Sooper. We arrived about 5 PM to pick up some chicken. We waited over 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter until my husband finally went to find someone. She was sweet and tried to help but was not trained on serving chicken. When the guy responsible for the area finally showed up, he couldn't be bothered to help her. The sides had clearly been sitting for hours and were soggy and dried out. We ended up with mashed potatoes but no gravy because they had not bothered to put any out, and soggy green beans because the corn had sat in the steamer so long it was dried out and hard. We still like King Soopers as a grocery store, but we are done with the deli as this is not our only poor experience here. read more

I echo what many others have stated. Service is terrible in the pharmacy! While the employees in the pharmacy are certainly pleasant when you visit the store, the overall operation is poorly run and you won't find good service at this location. They loose prescriptions when called in. They don't have prescriptions filled when stated. The Phone IVR system is broken and automatically hangs up on callers after being placed on hold for 20-30 minutes Call back, same thing happens. Very frustrating. Since they don't seem to care much about good service, I would suggest you find another place to do your pharmacy business and save yourself the angst of dealing with them. read more

This is my store. I think the layout makes sense, mostly. Mmm. Cheese samples. The (free kids') cookies are not too far away from the front of the store for the young ones to go crazy before you reach them. Kroger brand almost always is really good. I upload pics from home and it usually works pretty well. (Don't miss the 10 cent pictures in the summer.) Use your value card at Loaf and Jug and Krogers all over the country. read more

I hate how overpriced this chain is in general. I don't shop here often enough to notice the minor details of something being marked improperly. I do receive flowers from their shop pretty regularly, and they always last a long time (for flowers). They just underwent a makeover, looks really nice now. Today, 8/18/14 at 5pm, I was shopping in the Parker King Soopers for the very last time... As I got to the deli counter to order my meats and cheeses for the week, there were 2 people ahead of me. To my surprise, the 2 kids behind the counter finished helping their customers and proceeded to skip over me and help some old bag who just walked up behind me. When I confronted the curly haired kid behind the counter he said, "I'm pretty sure she was next". Really? Then why the hell did you look at us and ask who's next if you already knew? (The old bag lady proceeded to order ahead of me!). Why do you have #11 showing on the display if its not being used? I'm not letting anyone treat me like that so I took my business elsewhere and will continue to do so! I cut my Sooper card and threw it in the trash along with the junk mail before entering the house... I'm looking for great customer service when I spend my money. I'm loving this King Soopers for one and only one reason: SUSHI. Wha?!?!?! Wha?!?!?! Yeah, I know I'm landlocked, but I said it. This particular sushi stand (9am to 6 pm -- yes, I memorized their hours) is my little personal heaven. They take personalized orders and make them on the spot, and most importantly, without an attitude. I usually hate grocery store sushi stands due to the over-use of nasty cucumber and the accompanying nasty attitude if I ask for a single tray without cucumber. The bonus is that this stand makes a ton of delicious varieties -- check out their menu -- which my fat little knobs can ponder over. I can never get enough. read more

Overall I like this King Soopers. They keep it well stocked and the staff is very friendly. I love the cheese section as well. The reason for only 3 stars is based on a recent visit and it really didn't have anything to do with the store or employees itself but what they allowed to go on inside the store with the Denver Post Sales rep. I walked into the store and a man is walking toward me and pulls a King soopers gift card out of his pocket and hands it to me and says "I would like to give you a $10 gift card". I'm thinking to myself - okay, but just for coming into the store? This is great. Then the sales pitch comes into play and he starts walking me toward the little booth he has set up and starts trying to sell me a subscription. I listen for a few minutes and I didn't want to buy so I tell him that I already have a subscription. and wait for it......He then says to me "well, then I can't allow you to keep the gift card, you have to give it back." I gave it back to him and walked away. Now I don't really already have a subscription but now I won't ever have a subscription to the Denver. I did call the Post to complain Just keep on walking - don't talk to the dudes in the front of the store and if they approach you think about yelling "Stranger Danger!" and run the other direction.
