Went on A Saturday night around 830, Memorial Day weekend... out of jalapeños which I bought everything to make a dip..finally went to check out with about 200 dollars worth of stuff. They only had one check out and called up 2 more people to check which were going slower than a snail. So I waited for a little while with several other guests and decided to go to self check out. That was a nightmare. Would have been fine but the scanner seemed to be off and every other item wouldn't scan... plus the self check out attendant was very rude and mute, his name was Russell and didn't seem to care to help me or even talk when I asked him a question. Checked out with over $200 and will take my business elsewhere as King Soopers continues to disappoint, they lack customer service. read more

I don't usually write reviews about grocery stores, but we just moved to the area and I'm really impressed with this King Soopers. They are so friendly, the store is clean, they have nice produce, Boar's Head meat and a bulk section. The butcher even cut up my whole chicken for me today and wasn't even grumpy about it. The woman at the deli counter made sure she sliced the cheese just the way I wanted it and gave me a sample. Very happy with this King Soopers! read more

I love this King Soopers. The employees are fast and friendly. They also work hard to make sure you don't wait in line to check out for very long. The store is clean and they have a good variety of items. They also have a ton of car-carts, although I'm not sure if they have the video carts here yet. read more

Huge chain grocery store here that can accommodate most of your specialty goods that would be found typically at other stores at a higher price. Usually well stocked, clean, & organized which can be uncommon for a store that is 24hrs a day. My only peeve with this store is parking! Good luck not getting in a fistfight in the parking lot trying to park. read more

My problem with this king soopers is not with the store proper but with one particular employee who was being generally unhelpful. When shopping there i found a few digital coupons and added them to my card, i don't enter my card until the end of my transaction because i like the feeling of watch the price go down so typically my coupons appear at the bottom of the receipt when i got the receipt i notice that it appeared only one of the coupons took so instead of bothering the checkout line i decided to go to the service desk to get the issue cleared up. What i received however was attitude and a general refusal to help and insistence on blaming me instead of doing anything to help me. I asked to see the manager because of her refusal to help in anyway, for goodness sake she could have taken 1 minute to look over the receipt and point out that the coupons had taken and just not appeared at the bottom, suddenly she wanted to actually do something when i wanted to get the manager involved. When I found out that the coupons did take myself I quickly pointed it out and did a quick "sorry about that", only for the attitude to come back and her to tell me to "go away" and "I think you owe my an apology", due note i already gave her one, which led me to respond "i don't owe you anything because you refused to help me". tldr: if you hate doing your job either quit or retire, don't be a lazy POS and don't be surprised when your customers don't take kindly when you refuse to help them and blame them right off the bat without pointing out any problems with what they're trying to do. read more

Don't order flowers from this store to be sent FTD. They send the order to another store and have no idea if your order gets placed or not. This is the second time this has happend to me where my order did not get sent. They did refund my money which was nice but would have preferred the arrangement I ordered had been sent since it was for Christmas. read more

I work nights and this is the only King Soopers in my area that was still open. No longer. After taking the highway up to youngsfield I get here to see a sign inside the store which states that as of last week the store will be closing from 1am to 5am for cleaning. Yet the sign still says 24 hour savings. How did they clean the store before now? I guess I'll just have to add this company to the rest of the businesses that don't think about those of us who work night shifts read more

Great store, well organized, some aisles a little cluttered due to wing stacks. Customer service oriented staff willing to help. Only draw back is this store only stocks Murphys cheese. Other kings locations carry wide variety of brands which make it nice to choose from. Also carts all over the parking lot, this seems to be an issue with customers not staff not wanting to take carts back to coral or store. read more

Went to this King Soopers specifically for the cheese section, based on other Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed. Very deep and creative cheese shop, including a good selection of washed-rind cheeses. The bakery looked very good, too, though I didn't peruse it heavily. Otherwise, it's a typical King Soopers, but if you like cheese, it's worth the trip! read more

I have been shopping at this King Soopers since I was a little kid. Their selection of food is great and I almost always find everything I have on my grocery list. I like how big the store is and the new, fancy, motion sensor freezers they installed during the remodel. While in the process of remodeling, they put in a Starbucks Coffee booth, which is a huge plus. Another positive thing is that they have a pharmacy, which makes it convenient for when I need to refill my prescriptions. The staff is always helpful and courteous, which makes my shopping experience more enjoyable. I highly recommend them to others and I will continue going back. read more

I am a regular snowboarder who visits this store on the way up to the mountain. I like to shop my lunch and little snacks before I head up to the mountain. I grabbed their sushi and I loved it. The employees are awesome and nice. They know what they are doing. Their NEW YORK CRUNCH ROLL is fabulous. I did not expect this much from grocery sushi but they were above and beyond. I became a loyal customer over thirty years ago because King Soopers offered the freshest produce of any of the chain stores in my area. After a serious accident I was happy to find that King Soopers offered home shopping and delivery. Recently, within the past year, I have had produce picked, by king Soopers home shoppers, that is either over ripe and occasionally not eatable. There have also been packaging problems- open package areas- in meat and whole grain items. i wonder--are home shopping items tacked from the 'soon to be discarded' bens? I stopped by the pharmacy a few days ago in August 2015 for some information about a shingles shot. The pharmacy assistant was rather rude. She didn't come to the window, but rather talked to me from down the counter. She told me I needed to fill out a full-page paper and then she could double check the price. I told her Walgreens was able to check through my insurance without having to fill out a paper. Then she asked how much Walgreens charged and she said that's probably what King Soopers would charge. I told her it was my understanding that many times KS was lower priced that Walgreens. I admit they were busy, but it felt like she could care whether I brought my business there or not. Walgreens was the opposite, their pharmacy assistant did whatever they could to answer my questions and help me. read more
