They ripped off my daughter...quoted one price and then magically raised it almost $100- claiming "taxes" at 15.74%. "Fixed" her phone. The next day it stopped working again- she took it back and they replaced the screen but not the screen protector she bought. 2 days later it stopped working again! They told her not to come back because he was upset about the google review I left. So now she still has a broken phone and I'm out almost $300. And he asked my daughter if I knew she bought vapes there- like threatening to tell me...grow up. I called and he said there was a crack in the screen- but bro, she just bought a screen protector. I have an older iPhone and my battery was utterly worn out. I had searched along time as to what I could do for my phone, then I came across Yelp. I searched through it awhile and decided to try it. I came across King Wireless and Smoke Shop. I contacted them. Told him my issue and asked if he could fix it for me. He told me he could. Wouldn't be able to type this review out without Jordan and Mo at Kings Wireless. They saved my phone and my butt. I came in maybe 30-40 minutes before closing (never do that) with my iPhone 8 that simply would not turn on anymore, I identified a few problems and took it over to King wireless. When I walked in first thing I saw was Mo going to work fixing a phone, he quickly greeted me and asked what he could help with. After a few moments of explaining my dilemma, Jordan came out from the back and quickly heard my problem and sprung into action to fix my iPhone. Truly one of the best phone stores I've been to. I brought my phone in to get a screen replacement and only a screen replacement. This place was close to home and it was an emergency. So I went and saw JORDAN AT KINGS WIRELESS. at first it seemed like everything was going well and the service was excellent. We had a great conversationand he even changed my battery for me FOR FREE AND WITHOUT ASKING and cleaned out the speakers of my phone so it would be louder. Later that same Night, my phone died. So I went to plug it in and walked away from my phone for about 10 or 15 minutes. When I got back to my phone, I realized that it hadn't turned on yet and it was just flashing on and off showing the Apple logo and then turning on and off over and over again. I am very tech savvy especially with iPhones due to years of research and tinkering. I instantly knew it was a battery problem because of prior experience, common sense, knowing it was completely fine until it died and now won't charge to turn on etc etc. Plus what are the chances that my phone that has never failed me in seven years, gives out on me the same day some guy fixes it? Again, I did not ask for the battery replacement, but he insisted his battery was an upgrade. So I considered myself lucky and apprecid the gesture. My phone wouldn't turn on at all despite trying all the simple fixes you can perform at home. So, like everyone else would do, I brought it back as soon as I could the next morning and told him my issue. He told me that my phone was completely and utterly useless and dead and there was no chance of fixing it. Like he didn't EVEN TRY any solutions. After I told him the issue, he just told me it's dead and theres nothing he can do about it. Even though I knew that it was very very unlikely. I argued with him for about three hours trying to get him to fix my phone and he just kept refusing and getting angry with me because I didn't believe that my phone was completely broken as he was insisting. He was very persistent on buying my phone and very aggressive trying to get me to sell my phone to him. And even buy another phone from him. so after about a couple hours of arguing with him, I brought another phone that I had at my house to his store and literally all he did was set up my Apple account for me on my new iPhone and buy iCloud storage for me. And charged me 60$. He promised me he could get all my photos and messages and apps etc onto my new phone. So I let him do his thing. All he did was set up my new phone. Thats it. I could have easily done that myself. After telling me my phone was completely useless, and my new phone was set up, he asked me to sell him my phone. Now I instantly ask why he'd buy a completely broken phone. He said for parts. lol. how laughable is that? It was a 7 year old iPhone 7+. He didn't want it for parts. He had literal BUCKETS of parts for the iPhone 7+. Then I remembered our conversation from the day before. I told him about how important my phone was, due to the content. Even included that I have very personal pictures and videos with my girlfriend on there. I only told him that because he seemed cool and we had a long talk and connected. I told him I'm not selling him my "broken" phone because I knew it wasn't broken. And guess what? I was right. After a couple months of research and me trying everything I could to fix it myself, I finally took it to another phone repair shop, and he knew what was wrong with it within five minutes of me being there. He told me that my charger port was replaced, and it had a bad battery. this guy literally tried to steal my phone from me by purposely replacing my parts with bad parts so that my phone would seem broken. My guess was that he wanted the contents and information on my phone so he can keep them for himself. And sell my phone to make money. He literally robbed me, tried robbing me again, and straight up lied to my face. I will never go there again and I tell everyone I know to avoid that place. Extremely horrible service. straight up con artists and weirdos. There's more details that I noticed that PROVE he wanted my phone for its contents but I've already typed enough. NEVER SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. TRUST ME. I wonder how many clueless people these guys steal from and rip off. read more
