At times over the 15% recommendations (Shots from shot girl, bouncer's, dancers, as well as entry),but that's expected. depending on the server you get friendlier service. The more you tip the bouncer the better seat you get (they will move you if it busy). Dancers are on stage ALL throughout the night, however lottsss of repeats. I took my boyfriend there, I didn't not realize I was not allowed to have contact with him. I sat on his lap for literally seconds before a bouncer came over to tell me I had to move. I read most of the reviews before trying this place so knew ahead of time about needing to tip the bouncer and the coat check lady etc. It seems like those were the biggest complaints but since I was mentally prepared I had a great experience. Tip the bouncer more ahead of time if you want a better seat! Most of the girls are so impressively skilled on the poles!! There's so much showmanship on stage. Le Kingdom est une business pas mal comme toutes les autres business dans une ère post-pandémie mondiale. Certaines sont sur des prêts, du crédit, des reprises de finances, etc. Et d'autres ont dû mettre la clé dans la porte et fermer pour de bon. Donc vous pensez que ça coute chère, ben vous avez raison. Et c'est comme ça partout, donc faut s'y faire. Faut comprendre également que le modèle d'affaire est partiellement basé sur les pourboirs (tips). Pratiquement tout les employés dans le club s'attendent à ça. Comme client, faut s'y attendre aussi. Maintenant, les détails pour un samdi soir d'octobre 2022: l'entrée (cover charge) est 20$ par personne. Ajouter 5$ de tip par personne pour la fille à l'entrée qui elle, ne danse pas, mais qui a droit aussi à un petit extra comme les autres. Le placier/doorman, qui s'adonne à être très classy et polie te trouve une table avec fauteuil rouge, entouré de lumière rouge, pas trop loin du stage qui baigne égallement dans le rouge. Je lui laisse 20$ de tip (parce qu'on est 2 et) parce que lui non plus ne danse pas et je pense que tout le monde va être d'accord avec ça. Une fois assis, on t'apporte un menu rigide rétro écrairé. Techno, dinstingué et fonctionnel étant donné à noiceur. On y trouve un sélection très honnête de bières, shooter et autres alcools de circonstances. Les prix sont entre 9$ et 12$ la consommation de base et ça monte pour les choses plus fancy. Évidemment, il est suggéré de laisser un pourboire penchant sur le 20% arrondi vers le haut. On offre aussi le service à la bouteille ce qui reviens moins chère si vous décidez de vous bourrer la gueule façon épique et terminer le tout sur le siège arrière d'un uber. Les filles vont danser sur une scène format réduit d'un octogone de la UFC, mais sans la clôture puisque des anges, ce n'est pas fait pour être en cage. On y trouve pas 1 ni 2 mais, 6 poteaux reliés par des barres horizontales dans la partie suppérieur, sous un plafond franchement très haut ce qui donne place à une plus grande créativité de chorégraphies. Petit bémol; le DJ annonce le nom des danseuses dans une langue qui m'est complétement étrangé, ou sinon, j'comprends rien. Je ne commenterai pas sur l'aspect et le look des filles; les goûts sont dans la nature et des photos sont disponible sur le site internet. Bref, il y a un choix de différentes grandeurs et différentes "grosseurs". En ce qui me concerne, j'y ai trouvé mon compte sans effort. Tout est propre partout, tables, chaises, plancher. Un papier oublié sur le sol sera ramassé en moins de 60 secondes. Toilettes pour homme immaculés et sans odeur. Je ne suis pas allé voir les toilettes pour femmes parce qu'étant un homme, semblerait-il que c'est malaisant. On explique de façon très clair et sans ambiguité les règles pour les cabines privés. Primo, c'est 5$ pour y avoir accès. Je sais ce que vous allez penser, mais dites-vous que le 5$ va aider à financer l'hygiène et la propreté d'une cabine avec un banc où 5000 autres personnes de provenance "inconnues" se sont assise dessus avant. C'est apprécié de tous/tes, surtout des filles qui on très peu de "protection" de la région inférieur. Tant qu'à être sur la question, n'hésitez-pas à vous passer une shot de purel avant d'entrer parceque... Parcequ'on est en 2022. Secondo, c'est 20$ pour une danse d'une durée d'une chanson. Dans certaines cultures, les chansons durent 45 secondes. Dans le Kindom, on y joue des chansons normales "radio format" normales d'une durée normale de 3 à 4 minutes. Si vous vouler partager l'expérience cabine avec votre tendre moité(e) ou un pure étrangé assis au bar en trian de se bourer la gueule façon épique, ce sera plutôt 25$ par danse. L'artiste fait preuve d'une étique de travail exemplaire en débutant sa chorégraphie au début de la chanson et non en plein milieu, ce qui souligne la pratique d'affaire juste et honnête. Starting off, my group and I are young Americans, which I understand is prime bait to be ripped off at a strip club in Montreal. As many other reviews said, the cover charge was $7 which I didn't think was too bad, however, the guy who brought us to our table also insisted on a tip. Got a vodka soda and I genuinely didn't know if they put any vodka in it but $12 wasn't too steep of a price I thought. Girls were hot but the same 2 girls kept going on stage for about an hour. My group and I thought the line up should've been switched up at some point. When I had a private dance, the stripper seemed like she was on drugs and totally planned on ripping us off by not telling us when the song was over. Montreal is a beautiful city but can be brutal in the winter months. I recollect segments from a bachelor party weekend (March 07). This was one of the places we visited as my entourage needed to warm up. Kingdom is an all nude gentlemen's club which serves alcohol. In NY/NJ this is unheard of. (generally, all nude = juice bar, topless = alcohol). The interior is nice, clean and gives you that city lounge feel. It's like I never left NY. One alarming thing was that the establishment was almost always empty. There were no more than 3 girls walking around even on a Friday or Saturday night. If you counted the patrons, we made up half to 2/3 of the customers. I asked the one of the talent for an explanation; she feigned innocence. "This eez happening! This eez how it always eez." Sorry my French accent doesn't manifest itself on paper. For 10 Canadian dollars you are fortunate to have a 'dance' in the general area (where you are currently sitting). This is weird, yet amusing to see your horny friends keep a straight face while this occurs. I believe it was more to go into the private area, but you had to 'pay a toll'. I think this mechanism was there to make sure the dancers weren't cheating the house. So, for 2 dances in the back, it would be about 32 Canadian (like 15 each, plus the 2 dollar toll). I know, madness. While you waited, there was a main stage and I witnessed some uninspired showcase of performers. The talent here did not know how to work the pole. That is ok, I did not expect much from the talent (2 of them were attractive college students). Waitress service was good, and we drank many of Molson Triple X and Labatt Blue beers (we didn't feel a high markup). If you asked me if I was treated like royalty in Montreal, then call me the Burger King. This is an average gentleman's club. High mileage? Not here. Kingdom is far from great. I can't help at laugh at all the people claiming to have been "scammed". It's a strip club, you pay for everything. We had a great time at Kingdom this past Saturday, so here's an updated review for this place. Coat check: Mandatory but free (+tip), wasn't asked to check my purse. Cover charge: $7, so hand the bouncer a $10 and you're seated. Drinks: Pricey, welcome to a strip club! $40 for a bucket of 5 beers. Would suggest buying a bottle if you're a group. Shooters: $5 served by a super sweet and pretty shooter girl. Dances: while we didn't take advantage of any private dances, we did have a stage dance. Lay down on the elevated dance floor with 2x $5 bills placed on your body for pickup, and you are part of the show for that small price. I also watched karine make the lifetime of a young physically challenged gentleman. Her performance was the best. Dancers: There were several girls who weren't there to show off on the main stage, just give you a basic rub on the pole. I presume that those are the girls who prefer to make bank on the private dances. Then there are the amazing girls like Karine who clearly enjoys what she does, and it translates to an amazing show! While we were there we also benefited from a performance that was a woman specialized in using metal chains rather than the pole. Was a nice change and very artistically broke up the less than impressive dancers. The dancers were all pretty/cute, and they had an array to reflect differing preferences. There were easily a dozen dancers + bar/wait staff. Some of the girls weren't my taste, and some of them looked like baby deer learning to walk in their heels which was awkward, but hey, you take the pretty ones who are willing to do the job I supposed. Bartender: Caroline was straight up with me when I straight up asked her for the most reasonably priced beverages. She didn't treat me like I was being "cheap" by asking. Super friendly and approachable throughout. Overall, we had a phenomenal time and weren't at all surprised by any of the costs associated with it. Between the 3 of us we dropped $50 for a bucket of beers and $10 tip (OUR CHOICE). $50 for 2 rounds of shots with a $10 tip (OUR CHOICE) and a shot for the shooter girl. $20 worth of $5 bills for us sitting on the stage for personal interaction from the dancers. We closed the place and weren't rudely rushed out or anything. Improvements: THE DJ. OMG HE SUUUUUUCKED. I only learned my favorite performer's name by asking her directly because none of the girls were being announced (at least not audibly). There were a few good music choices by the girls but much of the music sucked. A drink menu being available would help people feel less "scammed" for not paying attention and asking the right questions... THAT'S IT. The rest was bang-on. To the whiny wife acting uptight because she was charged cover, you're an idiot. Why would you not be charged? Should the club be honored to have you here? Could you not be a lesbian or bi-curious? Don't really leave reviews, but I've been trying to find a song that played here and then I stumbled on the club's rating... doesn't seem right. It was late into a Tuesday night for my tourist romp through the city (coming from America), and I needed to brush up on the etiquette for strip clubs in the Great North before entering. It didn't take much effort, but before entering the establishment I knew their standards were perfectly acceptable: seven CAD admission, plus tipping the bouncer (as is custom), tipping your waitress for her service and hospitality, then enjoying the entertainment thereon. Regardless of how far along the girls' night was (it was around 1am) -- on a Tuesday no less -- there was still an active atmosphere. There's a venir of professionalism that bars one from the authenticity of conversation, as was mentioned in another comment, but, so long as you separate business from the pleasure, there's no doubt the service is more than acceptable. (Had a pleasant, flirtatious conversation that deviated from the script once or twice.) Not to mention, the fact they let you know the number of songs for private dances is the antithesis to scamming -- maybe some people have had rougher experiences, but I had the fortune of experiencing professional, all the while genuine people. (The treatment one is given is certainly worth the price per song, and more.) Bouncers were great to talk to as well -- generally friendly atmosphere! I used to go there all the time and they even know me there but I went there on a Saturday night before St. Patrick's day, went up the stairs and the bouncer pushes me back and says "You again" and pushes me down the stairs. Watch out! This is place is a SCAM. I had a party of 9 total for a bachelor party (mine). We went there, asked someone what the cover was and they said "Uh, I think 20? Maybe 10?" She went to ask a bouncer and came back and said it was 7. I should have walked away then. But we decided to go in where they cleared a spot right at the floor for us. ALL nine of us ordered a drink. I ordered a diet coke and vodka, which she REPEATED BACK TO ME because she had a hard time understanding me over the noise. She brought back three waters and two Corona's... for a party of nine... and only one order of Corona and one order of water. And somehow this all equaled 60 dollars! We complained and she said "you can pay or I'll go get the bouncer." No even bothering trying to fix the order like a normal, respected establishment would. We were not allowed to leave, rendering us prisoners, until we paid. We were so disgusted by it we paid isntead of calling the cops. They lost out because we would have dropped hundreds there. Do NOT go here. I came with a group of 10 and the bouncer scammed is on the way in, making us slip him extra money everyone else didn't have to pay just to get in. Then I got a dance from a stripper and she didn't tell me when a song ended and charged me for 5 songs, I was annoyed but agreed and when she had a bouncer with her she then claimed it was 6 songs.
