Visited for "Publique Disgrace" over Montreal Fetish Weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, welcoming me and changing sheets to allow a friend and I to play. Too crowded - and too many men who just want to watch - but it's MFW so cannot blame the club. Would love to visit again on a slower night. read more

I went today, Friday (25 May 2024) to l'Orage with one of my naughty girlfriends. We already went in the past and it was a blast for her. She liked being surrounded by many males, and 9 of them had fun with her the last time. Today, they invented a new "rule"; men (who pay $125 to enter the premisses) are not allowed upstairs in the fun zone unless accompanied by a woman or a couple. That was a disaster; only very few men showed up; most of them not willing to pay $125 to have a beer in the bar with no assurance of any sex. It happened what it was going to happen; most couples went upstairs alone, having sex between themselves with no men around. My GF was super disappointed; only a couple of men were upstairs and they were "busy" with the couple who brought them up. 90% of the couples went upstairs without inviting any male; men were very few anyway, so the choice for the women was super limited. This was a Friday and it was supposed to have single females and married females looking for multiple males to have fun with. The Friday ended up being almost exactly like a Saturday, for couples only, since the males were not allowed in the fun zone. I spoke with the few males there and they all told me that they will never go back because it was too expensive ($125) with no sex. My GF and I will not be going back and will attend private parties instead, which are cheaper and now more fun with many men. We will go to the other club that allows men in the fun zone, but not l'Orage. I recommend the Friday to couples who like going on Saturdays and don't appreciate singles men. I will NOT recommend going on a Friday to couples who are sexually open to have other males join them, just because the choice is very limited, and unless your GF is gorgeous, the men there will not approach you. Average looking women were not approached and had no sex at all, whereas before today, even very average looking women had tons of sex upstairs with all the men allowed to partake in the fun zone. I will not recommend at all l'Orage for single men. There are better options out there, including other clubs and private parties. If you want just to have a beer, save $125 and go to a strip club, where at least you can eye some beauties. My GF and I are very disappointed and will never go back unless this non sense of forbidding the males to the fun zone ends. read more

If Tim Hortons opened up a swinger club in Quebec it would be called L'Orage. The place is small and there's absolutely nothing special about it. In fact there's nothing to merit the hype that so many people give the place. It certainly is NOT worth the money the club owners are demanding for your 1st visit. The costs are: $80 for the MANDATORY membership card + $60 to enter the club = $140 for your 1st and perhaps only visit. Parking and getting to this club could be better but it's manageable. (Parking and driving in anywhere in Montreal is hell at the best of times) We speak fluent french but still discovered that there's a definite very cliquey French divide. But as we discovered this elitist /segregationist attitude appears to be popular among many Francophones. It's obviously not all of them but they're are enough of these snobs that it has to be said that you will probably encounter it at some point in time. What's more those that do this tend to be very 2 face because they'll snob you with a smile and good manners and then make their true comments behind your back. Fortunately there are a fair number of tourists that come to this club and they tend to make up for the creeps. We met 2 Hungarian couples and after some flirting we were invited to go back to join them at their hotel. We talked about the possibility of just playing at the club but the one couple already had an awkward experience that they didn't want to repeat. Apparently they started to get sexual when a group of people completely encircled them and expressionlessly stared at them without making a single solitary sound. ((Yea kind of creepy)) The sad news is that there really isn't much for swingers in Montreal and what little there is available is over-hyped and expensive. What makes this club the "Go To Place" is that there really is almost no competition and in fact we've only found a total of 2 swinger clubs in the city. Furthermore swinging shouldn't be about Canada's language politics but unfortunately a good number of Quebecois refuse to drop the issues even for just one night. We are a couple from Vt and looking forward to stopping here. Done other clubs in Toronto and Germany. I must say that I'm a bit put off by the quote from the previous poster regarding "normal" couples. Would someone please tell me what a normal couple is? Are not all people big small old young gay straight entitled to enjoy and have fun? Also I've traveled as a single gent to Toronto and welcomed with open arms......so I will keep my mind open and look forward to writing a review of my own.... Wtf are other reviewers complaining about? This place is phenomenal! We (gf and I) went on a Friday night while visiting Montreal and I can say enough what a great experience it was. First it's not nearly as expensive as others have posted, secondly the door people could not have been nicer and more accommodating. They gave us a tour, made sure we were taken care of... pretty much bent over backwards to ensure we were taken care of. As far as the club itself it's great, a bar area with a small dance floor which is perfect for socializing and a outdoor deck on the second floor where they are building another bar. The play rooms/nooks are clean inviting, the layout is perfect to search for fun! The crowd was amazing friendly and respectful, everyone is there to have a good time and we didn't feel any negative energy. Lastly there was a good diversity of people and the gender ratio was actually much bette than you would expect. read more

we are an european couple visiting Montreal and went to l'Orage last saturday night. After reading all the reviews we were a bit skeptic about it, but decided to give it a try anyways. We did not go friday because frankly we were a bit put-off by what we read, in particular the insistence of single men. We are not against having another man join us, but definitely are not interested in being assaulted.... So, with very low expectations we went, and we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived around midnight and the place was full. There were attractive "normal" couples between the ages of 30 and 50, and some single women. We did not expect it. Our only other experience in a swinger club was in Miami last year, and the scene was completely different here. There was a time period of about 45 minuted when the first play room was full of good looking people and action, and we joined in, but after this "wave" ended, the place emptied out a bit. We noticed a difference in people using the room upstairs and the one downstairs. The playroom downstairs had a younger crowd (30-40s), while the one upstairs had an older crowd (40-50s). Cannot tell that it is always like this, just saying it was like this when we were there. The place was clean, with staff controlling for safety, and making sure change the sheets very often. We would definitely go again when we visit Montreal in the future. read more

We last visited L'Orage Club when it was in the old bank building. We decided again to visit the new one on St . Hubert street. While it was small, it had everything you need for fun adult night. We arrived around 10Pm, and despite what reviews are saying ,we paid a out of town membership fee of $30 and the $60 per couple fee for Saturday night, typical of many such clubs. The vibe was great, quite a few couples already in attendance. Drinks were priced as any club does. Dj music and plenty of lights. It proceeded to fill up fast. At midnight we decided to go up the long stairway and visit one of the playrooms, watched a bit before deciding to have our own fun on one of the available spaces. Yes there were other couples having sex and making noise and that made for a erotic atmosphere. What didn't add to it were spectators being loud and social. You can watch, just do it quietly ,PLEASE. Probably a better arrangement is a play area that you must be naked for with only the company of a towel, leaves the wannabe's away.Play area was nice and clean with an attendant to keep it that way with fresh sheets and towels. We enjoyed ourselves and left shortly after and don't really know what the negative reviews are about, we encountered no rude people and had no problem with language. read more
