All I wanted done was my toes done no one there could do French tip on my toes and had me sitting there almost 2 hrs. The guy that was doing my pedicure wasn't listening to anything I was saying and kept starting over and over cause he couldn't do it. So I left cause I had to go. They wasted my time and money. I went to this salon as part of a bridal party (7 adults, 2 children) getting their nails done. My nail tech was not very personable and ended up cutting my skin with the cuticle clippers in 4-6 places. I wanted a manicure for the holidays. I was seen right away. I was however charged more than I've ever had to pay for a sns manicure, $57. While I was waiting the manager was yelling prices across the room to the lady who was doing my nails. The manager was loud and continued to yell about a previous customer when I was there. well, basically, the receptionist was wonderful, attentive, and probably showed the most genuine hospitality that I've ever seen in a nail salon. The problem is that I got a full set with gel polish and my bill was $75 plus my tip. First of all that is way too much money for a simple, full set and absolutely the worst paint job I have ever seen in my life. I requested multiple times to please smooth down the thickness and make sure the edges are NOT SHARP before painting them but instead, he just kept on rolling with the nail polish, ignoring everything I had asked so I have lumpy way too thick with extremely sharp edge nails. I could slice you open with the side of my finger nail and that's a promise. The worst part is he put two different colors on my nails, and the outer edge was an orangey red, but the middle, and the the main part of my nail was the pinkish red I had actually selected from the beginning. I promise you, my nails are two different colors and my five-year-old granddaughter could've done a better job. The acrylic is so thick, and was never smoothed down at all so now I look like I have Chiclets on my fingers and there's dips and lumpy spots on every single nail. I've never had a nail job be this bad! Not ever in my life Have I left a bad review or complained about my service but this really took the cake. read more

First time customer and I will be back. Salon was clean, calm and nice vibes. I came in on a Wednesday around 2:00pm, the salon only had a few customers and they started on me immediately. Jennifer and Yo-Yo did such a great job. Not only were they nice but they were knowledgeable!! They took their time but were not slow. I have been a regular customer at this salon for two years, even before it went under new management and a name change from Kingdom Nails to Imperial Nails & Spa. I always receive professional service from my nail tech, except for one visit when she cut my cuticle during a manicure. The new manager is always very nice and professional. Last month I received my usual SNS service, however this time was an unpleasant experience. On the day of service (5/12/2023) I noticed that the dip powder was thicker than usuaI. My nail tech noticed it too, but she used it anyway. I thought it was going to be okay, and I trusted her judgement. Well...I had 3 nails to crack within 5 days for no apparent reason. I returned and had those nails redone free of charge. In two more days, 4 more nails cracked. I returned again and the manager stated that it was the color of the powder (dark blue). She told me to pick another color and they would redo all of my nails. I assumed it would be free again, since this was the salon's fault in the first place. Upon completion, I asked my nail tech if the service was free. She had to ask the manager, who then had to consult with the new owner. The owner charged me, but gave me a 20% discount. This service also should have been free of charge. In one week I paid almost double for a service that originally should have lasted for three weeks ($43.00 paid on 5/12/23 + $35.07 paid on 5/20/23 = $78.12). I was told that the owner had to make the final decision. This new owner is more interested in making money than he is with making his customers satisfied. Also, it is obvious that they are using old SNS powders. With nail salons on almost every corner, I won't be returning. read more

I just had a very fast half done pedicure, repeatedly told the nail tech to get the dead skin around my cuticles off and she did not she only did two clips and then put oil on it to cover up the dead skin my nails look exactly the way they did when I came in, now she expects to be paid what a joke under New Management but no good read more

By far the worst nail salon I have ever visited. The staff does not listen to your requests and the quality is horrible. These are my nails one day after getting SNS, ive never experienced such poor quality thin SNS. I'm unsure if it is just poor quality products or careless work. I had not been here since they originally opened. At that time it was wonderful! Nice people, courteous, customer service oriented, WINE! Went here yesterday and knew when I walked in I should have left. Rude manager, unprofessional appearance and barked orders at me. Nail teach had attitude from the onset. Told her I only needed the basic $30 pedi since I just had one 12 days ago. She said "no, you want $40 one" to which I said no. She then insisted I needed gel... NO for many reasons. Attitude escalated. Two of my toes were cut so short I bled. No apology. When I cashed out I gave a $3 tip. The woman that cashed me out literally looked at me and said "is that all?" Went today for a full gel set and pedicure. Yen did my gel set ( she was very sweet) Ken was the name of the gentleman doing my pedicure and despite us communicating that I was not getting gel on my toes, he proceeded to put gel on anyways. I had to stop him and maybe from embarrassment he became a little rude with me for the remainder of my pedicure. I will say I am still pleased with how my nails turned out and Yen apologized for her Co workers behavior. I'm keeping 3 stars because of the poor customer service which reflects on my ability to enjoy what should be a therapeutic experience. Also I didn't mention this on my previous review but the pedicure massage seems shorter than other nail places. I used to go here because they did a good job but then the customer service really went down hill and I stopped going because of it and I went back a few days ago to give them a second chance and it was still the same. My nails cracked after 3 days and when I went back in to get them fixed and they were kinda hesitant to do it but when they did the lady made me bleed on 3 different nails because she was so rough with the nail file. PLEASE READ!!! Worst experience ever!! I can not even begin to explain how disappointed I was with this place and staff. First off, we spent 80$ and got NO thank you. None. I was with my family for a birthday. Their water was cold even after many times of asking for the temperature to be turned up. NOT ONCE was I able to sit back in my chair and relax, because I was constantly asked up upgrade my pedicure, get a design, get an eye brow wax, purchase a scrub, & most importantly our basic pedicure came with a foot massage and I didn't get one.. While my family got a descent foot massage, I got nothing. I confronted her about it and she said "then you pay $20 more!". When I said no, she said "why?? Only $20 more" That was her response to every upgrade I turned down. If I was not with my family celebrating a birthday, I would have done something more about. I kept my mouth shut, saving it for this review. She rushed the entire time and even though I got my fingernails painted before she even got started on my pedicure I finished before everyone else. My daughter went for a pedicure and full set of acrylics. The girl doing her toes asked her if she had done her own toes previously then laughed when my daughter responded. When questioned about the laughter the nail tech wouldn't answer. My daughter wasn't happy with how her nails were turning out. When she spoke up the tech gave her an attitude and called a guy over being blatantly rude about how "the girls doesn't like her nails and I'm almost done!" The guy asks her to pick a different polish then goes on to roll his eyes while commenting on her "matching her nails to her dress". When she gets her acrylics done she gets cut several times and again the tech (this time a different guy) laughs and tells her "you shouldn't have moved". I'll never allow her back. read more

I been going to this place for about 5 years plus. I will not be going back. Because the service is very bad and the manager got a very bad attitude problem. She really needs to going before you lose all of your business. She doesn't know how to talk to her customers. I know his latest she's not a good manager. I used to frequent this nail salon, but started trying other salons at the first of the summer. I had also heard it was under a new owner. Today I stopped in here because it was close to the errands I was running. The nail tech was fine, but the owner is awful. She treats her staff horribly. She doesn't smile and is harsh and rude. While I was there a woman stopped in with a gift certificate. It had the name of the salon, it's phone number and no expiration date. The owner was incredibly rude to this woman and refused to take the gift certificate, claiming it was expired and issued by previous owner. She fought with the customer in front of several other customers, and just flat out refused to honor it. It was an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere. I came to kingdom to get my eyebrows done and explained to them how they have been messed up before by other salons and specifically asked her for just a clean up. she took off the whole front of my right eyebrow and made it short and thick while she made my left eyebrow thin and super long. my friend also went there to get her acrylics and toes done, she usually goes there everytime she gets them done. the service SUCKED. not only did they make her pay in advance before she got her nails done, she also didn't like the nail color on her toes and politely asked if they could change the color and the lady smacked her leg for her to get up and ignored her, then went to her manager... the manager was also rude and disrespectfully yelled across the salon for her to find another color with an attitude. this is ridiculous, i would not recommend coming here. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and really loved this place. Last Friday, (5 days ago), I came for a gel polish and then flew to NYC until Tuesday. The polish started lifting on Saturday, but of course I couldn't do anything until I got back into town. I went in today, with my receipt and also told them that they had charged me an extra $3 on Friday-so whatever that was regarding is another issue. Anyway, I told them who did my nails and the lady denied it...but I remember her well because she was scrolling through YouTube videos on her phone and listening to them through her wireless headset when I sat down...(I remember thinking. "How rude to ignore me as I sit there and you pick a YouTube video to watch."). So, then they tell me that they only have a three day policy to fix my nails...why wouldn't you tell me that when I walked in? And by the way, where is that written? I told them I'd just go somewhere else, and then he offered to fix them, but I would still have to pay half. Whatever-I did it-AND I tipped the woman who lied about doing my nails the first time. I will NEVER go back to this place. Don't they know the customer is always right?? Plus, I was so honest with them, it makes me so mad that she lied to both of our faces. This is the best nail place so far. I am in the process of finding good nail shops to go to and this one is by far the best. This is my second time here and both times the wait was less than 2-3 minutes. They have a great variety of colors with the brand OPI so that was a plus. The staff is also friendly. I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this nail salon. They raised their prices.. 30 dollars for a basic service is a bit pricy. But the reason i will never return is the fact that they pulled a switcheroo on the paint. I chose a color by opi called shorts story. A vibrant hot pink. I liked the color so much i went to purchase the polish at a different store only to find that the color was not the same. Further investigation led me to find the actual color by sally Hanson. They actually used a much cheaper polish and filled the opi bottle with it. Total scam. read more

We are new to the area, awful customer service and less than stellar quality with manicure and pedicures. They made two of my daughters bleed on both their fingers and toes. One of the technicians was to busy carrying on a conversation on FaceTime while doing the pedicure and the owner continuously yelled at a young boy whom I believe was her grandson not to "poop" in his pants during our entire visit. As a mom of six this is my time to relax and be pampered, they did my fill and polish at the same time as my pedicure. Will never return nor do I recommend. read more

NEVER AGAIN! I really hate to write bad reviews, but I want to warn anyone thinking for going here. I have never had to tell a nail technician to stop in the middle of services before. I was getting a manicure and pedicure. I do not know the name of the girl who did my service (my fault for not asking, but I just wanted to get out of there), but she was awful. She did my manicure, and while clipping my cuticles she cut five of my fingers (visible blood). She quickly painted them and not well might I add. I should have not even proceeded with the pedicure, but foolishly I let her begin. She clipped my toe nails too short, to the point that it hurt when she filed them, then she started clipping my cuticles way too aggressively. At least there was no blood this time. I kind of flinched. I told her that I wanted her to stop clipping my cuticles and that I was done and just wanted to go home. She continued to proceed with the pedicure like she couldn't understand me, and again I had to tell her to stop. I had to explain to her that she was very rough and she had hurt me by cutting too far into my cuticles and made five of my fingers bleed. She only charged me for the manicure since she didn't finish the pedicure. I was really upset and should have refused to pay at all and talked to a manager, but I just wanted to get out of there. I will give this an extra star because it's very clean and beautiful facility.... But when you have terrible nail techs working there, that's not going to keep your business going. read more
