Great service and very friendly. My nails last several weeks before I need to go in for a fill.

I left here in tears- twice. If you want to be bullied, treated with open hostility when you say you are not satisfied with the gel manicure that left you with a cut cuticle & uneven nail shapes- go here, by all means. When this $38 rush job gel manicure chipped after 5 days I was told that 1) it was because my nails are too short (??) 2) "This happens! If they re-did every manicure that chipped they would be out of Business!" The owner, Lin's strategy with a complaint is to immediately take it to the red zone, raising her voice and becoming indignant- basically, bullying. It also took what I intended to be a discreet & quiet exchange into an extremely public full-blown conflict. She repeatedly yelled - facing her captive clients- that I wanted ALL TEN FINGERS redone- which was completely untrue. She wanted to simply file my nails down, and the idea of re-doing my thumbnail, which chipped after 3 days made her very angry. She was successful in driving me away. And demonstrating to her clients just how unpleasant she would be if they had any problem with the service: which is top dollar. I pay *less* in NYC for an enduring, beautiful gel manicure. Which includes, in every salon, without fail, a neck and shoulder rub. Little cotton fingerless mitts to protect your hands from exposure to UV during the setting of the gel- this is bare minimum. Let's look at a gel manicure at Glamourous Nails: To remove polish, your hands are submerged in a (warmed) bowl of acetone. Is that even legal? My manicurist flew through the process like she was being timed, which makes me suspect the owners are even more unpleasant to their staff. I have worked for emotionally volatile bosses, who can be sweet one minute and nasty the next- it's abusive. The UV machine was propped up awkwardly on the handrest, pointing towards my face. I have never had someone draw blood when they cut my cuticles before. The acetone fumes when you walk in the door are intense - and it is actually harmful. I am sure there are laws in GA like the ones in NY about ventilation requirements, and I would lay green that they are out of policy. I tipped my manicurist well- they are usually underpaid. Glad I insisted on putting it in her hand- Linn wanted me to give it to her. Hostile, dishonest, cutting corners about protecting and caring for their clients, and their staff. read more

Everyone was SO rude. The first time I came here it was great but this time... not so much. My friend asked Steven multiple times to fix the shape politely but he did not deliver each time. Kelly did my nails and they are all textured and different. I would strongly advise against visiting this salon for any individual, but particularly those of African American descent. The salon's owner, Lin, exhibits unprofessional behavior and demonstrates racial stereotyping. The quality of service is subpar, with high prices and a lack of courtesy from both Lin and her staff. Should you express dissatisfaction with their work, you will experience unprofessional and defensive reactions from Lin and her team. Issues that should be addressed privately are instead handled publicly, often with misinformation and unprofessional conduct. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this salon to others. Not exactly relaxing. This was my first time coming in and getting my nails filled in and a pedicure. I normally go somewhere where I live in Alabama but I'll be moving here and I'm needing somewhere good to go. I felt super rushed when they came to do my nails while I was in the pedicure chair.. I'd rather just be able to relax or have the option. The guy was decently rough and just seemed like he was in a hurry. Keep in mind, I made an appointment, I wasn't a walk in. The lady doing my pedicure was okay.. took an hour and a half for the deluxe & it definitely didn't feel like anything "deluxe". I was asked if I wanted my nails cut shorter and I said yes just a little bit.. so he cuts them almost all the way to my fingertip and then asks me if it's okay. I guess it will have to be, not much I can do about it now. They'll grow out My toes look fine except for my big toe looks bumpy? Like it wasn't smoothed out. I know prices are changing everywhere and I am l with that but when the price changes while you are sitting in the chair its ridiculous. I was quoted a price at the beginning of the service and after the service was over they gave another price and told me they just change the prices. They were rude and basically loud talking me in front of customers. If I could give them a single star I would. read more

Writing this review because if your website says 8pm is the time you close, it's not right to tell someone you close at 7:30 because you don't want to take them. Mind you I got there late but I had a last min. event come up and checked times and saw they closed at 8 so I would think they wouldn't mind doing a pedi or color change on my toes for the last 45 min. Change your time !!!!! Update: Google says they close at 7 so therefore they don't even know what time they close and then the open sign was still on. So change your time ! read more

I cannot believe the way that this place is ran when you go in and you want a certain service and are told they can do it then not being able to as a paying customer you should have all the say without attitude from the employee they were so rude and we're supposed to do a full set and a pedicure and then told me that they did not have time to do a full set after they did my piece of crap pedicure I had to go pay to have my pedicure fixed right when I left there and glamorous nails had no remorse. I moved here in 2019 and this salon was recommended to me. I went there with with another lady to get my nails done. At first things seemed to be ok. The staff was polite and usually friendly. The change happened when I started going alone. I was never greeted by the co-owner Lynn. She seemed to always be in a bad mood. She never was nice to me and I was ALWAYS nice to her. The FINAL straw was my last visit to the salon where I got a SNS/dip manicure. When it is was finished, I waited about 2 minutes until the top coat dried and I wanted to go. Lynn came over and tyrannically YELLED at me to STAY SEATED!! I am a Professor and she is half my age. I have never in my life been spoken to that way. There is no excuse for speaking to me - a customer- in that manner. She could have said, "Would you mind if I check your nails before you go?" After all I'm paying for the service and if I think they are dry, I should be able to leave. Or this some kind of nail jail? I wouldn't recommend this place. As a customer for years, I will absolutely not be back. I paid for a gel manicure and pedicure. On the way home from the "nail spa", I noticed that my nails looked like already had 2 weeks of growth (see picture). I returned to ask Lynn if she would redo them, she explained that's where my cuticle was and if she went any higher then it would peel off instantly especially with this color. My cuticle is easily and inch away from where the paint starts (see pointer finger). I've had my nails painted higher with the exact same color numerous times here-- never once have I had an issue. After arguing for a good 2 minutes, I walked out and will not return. I am not only disappointed but furious that the nail tech had the audacity to argue with the paying customer. Please see the picture below so you don't waste a good 3 hours of your day. There are nail shops on every corner- don't choose this one. Update: If you give an honest review, Lynn will text you to continue to argue and threaten to pull video/ voice recordings of your visit. Let's talk about invasion of privacy now. I just left Glamorous Nails & Spa after treating myself to a full set with SNS Dip and a divine Deluxe Pedicure. I couldn't speak any higher of the service I received there! I was a walk in and they took me right back. Nancy did my nails while Thanh did my pedicure. They used sterilized tools and the salon was clean, well lit, and had plenty of room between each station. Nancy and Thanh were both super nice and did a fantastic job! The full set with dipping powder was probably the best that I have had in years! The only thing that was slightly negative was having my pedicure and my nails done at the same time. A little nerve wracking but they got me in and got me out in record time! This post is for any cancer patients visiting to receive treatment at CTCA at Newnan and decide to look for a nail shop during their visit. visited here for a mani/pedi. I specifically came here because of their rave reviews, reports of cleanliness, and excellent customer service. Michael did an excellent job with my pedicure and when I disclosed, I had been receiving chemo, he took extra care and time. Unfortunately, the manager, Lynn, did not have the same stellar attitude and actions like Michael. She came to check to see how soaking was going and inquired why I was not soaking my thumb. I then shared that it was burning when I did soak my thumb. Therefore, I removed it when It when it started burning like any other person would do. In addition, I requested if she could soak it with a cotton ball and aluminum foil. She stated no this was not their policy and they would not be able to do my nails because the would have to file the polish off and it would take forever since I had tips on my nails. I shared with her that my nails were all mine and very REAL ( why did she assume they were fake without inquiring nor checking??) with no tips and showed her. In addition, I shared I did not mind the time it would take. She replied they would not be responsible if the nail ( my thumb only other nails were fine). I stated that I would not hold them responsible. She replied since you've been having chemo, it's best you go somewhere else to get your nails done and refused to allow me to continue with soaking or anything else related to my nails. When I assured her that I would not hold them liable if nail weaken especially since it was just my thumb, she rudely stated she didn't believe me and refused service. So her solution was to send me away with my nails looking like the pictures below. Unbelievable and unacceptable. When I went to check out ( paid for pedicure despite her unprofessionalism, rudeness, and lack of customer service/conflict resolution skills) she continued to be rude, argumentative, and stated they did want to deal with people receiving treatment nor use aluminum foil, nor cotton balls, nor do any filing because this was their policy and how they run their business. If I did not like it don't come back and find a nail salon and spa that would accommodate my needs. I assure I would and shared I would be posting this on Yelp so other cancer patients did not waste their time coming here. So cancer patients, please be aware. We endure enough without undergoing this level treatment, inconsideration, total lack of compassion, and professionalism. What integrous, excellent, professional nail salon allows their clients to heave with their nails looking this???? Obviously, this is not what they are based on my experience. read more

This was my second time coming here, I went 3 months ago and it was so busy and the nail tech was very rude. I decided today to give it another chance. I walked in and asked what the wait was for a pedicure and they said none(it was busy here) then the front desk lady asked me to pick my color and walked away, I hadn't picked a color here before because last time I did gel so I was confused and a customer has to help me who was getting her nails done. Then they showed me to my seat and I waited 30 minutes even though they said no wait. The worst part is the owner has his two children running around(they're between the ages 2-5) and the youngest has squeaky shoes on and it was just not relaxing. I used to go to a another local nail place that is also amazing but they had a very long wait time so I decided to come check this place out, they are located behind QT gas station with plenty of parking. I waited about 2 minutes but they were pretty full when I got there and they were able to fit me and my two daughters in. The staff are all very nice and helpful. I went here for the first time because I had read good reviews. I was very disappointed in my experience. I saw Michael for a pedicure. He never greeted me or tried to make any conversation. He asked if I wanted my nails cut and I said yes but I like my nails round not square. He didn't acknowledge what I said. I asked him if he understood and he said no. I then told Lynn that he said he did not understand so she told him at which point he shook his head and laughed. Then he had an attitude the rest of my visit. Not rushed, felt truly cared for. Went here on my lunch break and they took me in right away. The pedicure chairs are really nice and the place is clean and pleasant. Not too hot or cold, not too noisy, and the staff were attentive and polite. $30 for a deluxe is a great price, especially considering that it was an hour, mostly devoted to the leg and foot scrub, then a lotion leg rub, then hot towels! I am new to the area and have gone to Glamorous Nails for five times. During this time, I got a finger infection at the nail bed where they cut away dry skin....ok, maybe a fluke...keep going (once infection went away). Not long after, (two more manis) I developed fungus under my thumb nail. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years and this has never happened to me. This salon makes appointments they don't honor. Not clean inside. My nails look like a 5th grader did them. Had to go elsewhere to have them redone since the guy who did them and the owner told me to come back another time to have them fixed. Should I pay you later then? Pay twice? I don't think so. Took 3 hours at the nail salon altogether not to mention the 30 minute wait with my hands in a bowl only to have the product linger on my sling for the whole visit. When done polishing my nails, I had to personally scrub the product off, since the nail techs were too lazy to do it themselves. Still didn't come out. I walked out, sat in my car, and walked back in. I had a different color polish under 2 of my nails, the product still hadn't been taken off my skin, and when I went to tell someone and complain. They told me nothing was wrong! The manager walked away from me! Told me to calm down! No regards for my concern at all. Just trying to hush me. My sisters and I visited here after my dad recommended it to us. As soon as we walked it in had a fantastic ambiance, we were greeted promptly and offered a drink. Everyone did such a great job. I have never had such great care taken of my feet during a pedicure. My sister had SNS nails done and they look incredible. I will definitely be back. LOVE THIS PLACE!
