Two of the colors were from Sherwin Williams and the other two were from Benjamin Moore. I picked up samples from both of those companies and while I was at it I stopped by Dunn Edwards, per my painter's recommendation, to see if they could color match the Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore colors. When I arrived at the store, I instantly noticed how clean and well organized everything was. Prime parking was super easy to get too because the store is in a great spot of the plaza where there is hardly any traffic. The first employee to greet me was Dylan. He was super friendly and patient (also genuinely kind to my two toddler sons) and he was able to successfully match all of the colors I requested and so I ended up doing the entire interior of the house using Dunn Edwards paint, not even bothering with Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore. I came out a lot cheaper and the paint looked just as good when matched up side by side on my "sample wall". I feel it's also important to mention that I read a previous review about an employee being very rude and I'm sure that was not Dylan or the other guy whose name I unfortunately didn't get (he was a very tall, young guy braids) as he was great too. He took a lot of extra time to show us different swatches and explain the different types of paint. Obviously shopping for paint isn't going to be a super fun experience. I mean there's even that sarcastic saying that goes something like, "This is about as fun as watching paint dry..." But, all shopping experiences should be pleasant and you should feel that the employees care about your satisfaction. Therefore, I would highly recommend anybody who is looking to purchase paint to stop by this store. If possible, ask for Dylan because he provided me with a great experience and I'm sure he will do the same for you.

When I arrived it was busy and crowded with 2 employees. Stephanie who was working the front desk did an extraordinary job helping all the futon a timely fashion. She was also able to help me pick a color for my fence (espresso macchiato). She was also able to advise me on the different paint products and recommendations. Stephanie even brought my paint out to the car! Wonderful service and great products will make Dunn Edwards my new go to store when needing paint. My old fence came out looking brand new, thanks Stephanie for all the help!

When it came time to make paint choices I was stumped. I knew I wanted color but which color? Pinterest seemed to have a strong bias toward blue (not a fan) and for some reason every room on Houz is white! I was driving my husband crazy, collecting dozens of paint chips, lots of peel and stick samples and eventually those small sample cans started to accumulate. I knew the contractor would insist on Dunn-Edwards but there is no store close by so I attempted to use their visualizer. That's when I saw "Professional Color Consultation " on the menu. Game changer! I made an appointment!! I packed up my tile, countertop and flooring samples, I took better pictures of the furniture and rugs that were staying and headed to Moreno Valley. Pamela Nolasco listened patiently to my long explanation of my vision ( as you can tell, I'm not a right to the point kinda gal) asked some thoughtful questions of both my husband and I and confidentiality suggested Foxtail, a tawny brown! Did not expect that but as she explained it bought out the warmth of the flooring, made the tile and quartz countertop look rich and the champagne bronze fixtures we'd already purchase where the jewelry. I was convinced so we took home a sample pot to make sure it worked in our light. Second thoughts set in when I asked the opinion of friends and family, should have know! A few weeks later when the painter needed a commitment I went back to Pamela. This is when she really showed her talent. Such a good listener! After the second meeting I was reassured about the wall color and had the perfect paint for the vanity and the doors. We're both so pleased with the result. Thank you!

And since the original color came from Vista Paint, it seem logical to get what I need from there store to match the color correctly. The gentleman at the front counter gave great customer service and I can see how some reviews were less than kind on the other employees. Everyone else were more like cavemen grunting about there day. But the small guy with glasses at the register gave me great customer service and made this review 4 stars instead of 2. The other employees just go about there day with a lack of awareness of what's around them. They are like construction workers that do the job because they have too. This location mostly caters to large accounts and not the mom and pops that come in for one gallon and a paint brush..

Upon entering the store, the representative took one look at me and my daughter and instantly turned around and walked away. He didn't greet us, or ask if he could help us, He just walked away. When I walked up to the counter to ask about their paints and prices, the gentleman sighed as if I was bothering him (note: there were no other customers in the store). Getting information out of him was a begrudging task, and his 2 fellow coworkers sat behind the counter with him, silent, with their arms folded in slight amusement. Sadly, this has been my regular experience of service at most dedicated Paint Stores. I personally know that Customer Service is a hard job (being one myself) but no one likes to feel that their business is a bother. I felt like an ATM. At the end of the job he Left it incomplete. He didn't remove tape, or paint other side of door, even though he had it taped off, and had me go buy more paint for it. The final day it was a different story. Initially I asked if he would replace door hinges if I provided them. Painters have thrown that in in on previous jobs with no problem. He wanted $50 a door to swap out the hinges, extra! (I already paid an additional $500 for 5 doors, so I refused.) Now I'll still have to get the hinges replaced, what a hassle. He failed put back hardware and valance on my shade. Left stripped out screws set in sideways, and mixed up my door handles. I had to get someone to fix hardware that was hanging off, and switch back the handles. Didn't putty blemishes, or remove nails in the wall, or remove fan remote holder. There are thin spots that you can see thru in a few places. He desperately needs an assistant in order to get the job done in a timely manner. It drug out for 5 days and was supposed to be a 2 day job. Looses interest in the job at hand before it's complete. Buyer Beware.
