They took us to Old Hickory Island, where we found some amazing shells, a Pygmy octopus, conch, and a sand dollar. Throughout the trip, Captain Jessica shared her knowledge about the local ecosystem, answering all of our questions about the dolphins, manatees, mangroves, and the area. One of the highlights was when she spotted a pod of dolphins. She carefully brought the boat alongside them, and we got to watch them swim and jump in our boat's wake--it was unforgettable! Communication was outstanding from start to finish. We had to reschedule twice due to weather. Captain Jessica made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. She is friendly, welcoming, and shared lots of great local recommendations for places to visit and things to do. He was right on time at the dock, he was even out before our scheduled time catching bait fish which we didn't have to waste time doing during our charter. Cpt Paul was super patient with some of our not so stellar casts and gave us plenty of insight to help with technique. When the fish weren't biting like we hoped for he moved us to different area's and found us action. All in all we had an incredible day catching tons of fish, laughing, catching up with one of my best friends that I don't get to see often. Cpt. One downside, early morning departure.... coffee...and more coffee. the capt and the 2 of us were on a big white "flatsboat" ....Roomy, with a big outboard motor. A short run up the coast. flat as glass water and we were fishing for Tarpon. The capt hooked up the bait and cast out for us.... I did not have any luck but my man hooked up on two huge ones that put on an amazing jumping display before they broke the line. My luck came a little later in the morning when we were fishing near the shore in the mangroves and i hooked two beautiful snook. Great trip on the water, fish fought, suntan worked on.... then a well deserving nap when we got back to the condo !

I could not be happier about my experience with My High Tide! First off booking the Yacht was incredibly easy. I was able to quickly book online which was easy to do. I did have a few questions and called them directly and they answered right away and were very helpful. They had a few great options to choose from but with the size of our group we decided to go with the Azimut 72. IT IS GORGEOUS! The observation deck up top gives you amazing views of the water. The stern has so much room to relax and is incredibly luxurious. My wife loved the front of the vessel where she could get some sun and just relax. This yacht seemed brand new and was awesome. What made the experience over the top was the staff on board. Captain Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. No doubt in my mind that he knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. We also had Wayne on the boat who was the First Mate. He was great and always willing to answer all the questions we had. You could tell that both of these gentleman loved what they did and took care of all the guests. These two made the experience unforgettable!
