He continuously goes above and beyond to help. I was recently on a road trip with my not yet 2 year old daughter and husband when we experienced some mechanical issues. I reached out to Carmon and he explained what was happening and helped my family get home safely. Furthermore, he then educated us on how to prevent it in the future. Interactive Automotive Hiroshi/Hiro Yonekawa is one such business that lacks the customer service and integrity in the automotive repair industry. On Monday, I had scheduled an afternoon appointment at 11:00am, with Hiro to assess my Rolls Royce vehicle. I confirmed with Hiro our meeting a week prior and made arrangements ahead of time to drop off my vehicle and cleared my schedule for nearby appointments given 2-hour window period. Upon arriving at Hiro's shop at 10:45am, the shop was closed and Hiro nowhere in to be found. At 11:00am, I contacted Hiro to determine his "whereabouts" with no avail. After several phone calls and text messages to Hiro NEVER showed up and NEVER returned any of my calls and/or respond to my text messages. To put it laconically, Hiro "partied" the night before with his friends and was not able to show to his appointment he had set...simply put, this is not how you run a business among any professional standard! In fact, Hiro didn't even have the courtesy to return any of my calls for an apology! After reviewing another "yelp" of another unsatisfied customer, I can understand his expression for the lack of integrity and difficulty in communication as shared in that particular instance. Be that as it may, the communication with Hiro is nonpareil very parochial and one-way directional. Most consumers in Texas are very respectful and you don't treat Texans as an expendable "thing" as they pride their values by "word of mouth" as do most independent small businesses trying to emerge within a competitive industry. This lack of responsibility and lack of integrity only hinders the ability to work together in a positive direction. The attention to detail and the communications by Hiro! A++++++++!! Not to mention the quality of…read morework and the very very, did I say "VERY" affordable PRICING! Especially for an European car specialist. So I had taken my car to 3 different shops, before I found out about Interactive Auto and Hiro the owner / mechanic. Those 3 shops had previously quoted me starting from $1800-$3300+. One shop even took months by leaving my car there to even gave me a quote. I do understand shops needs to make money, but I have a gut feeling once I drop the car off to those other guys they would continue to charge me way more than what's quoted. A friend said to me, "just take it to Hiro! He is honest and priced right!" So I trusted my friend so dropped it off. I kept asking him, how much would it cost? Hiro just told me, not to worry. He said, "cheap cheap." He also asked me when I would like the car back by. I told him before end of the month would be nice, but in my mind this job usually would take months before it's not an easy fix. It's a radiator fluid leak on a 911. Pretty much needed to drop the motor and quoted by other shops. It's one of those, other independent shops would get to if they want to. But not Hiro! He booked an appointment for me and gave me a promised date! As soon as I drop it off, a day later he started to send me picture messages of my car. Explaining what he had done and still looking at the possible leaks. Throughout the week, he still kept me in the loop. *The pictures uploaded here were all sent by him. That's how professional he is! He continued to update me, told me what he changed. Found more leaks, kept changing broken leaky parts. There were some parts like radiator hoses where he said he can get them made, that is better quality and 1/4 the price of Porsche to save me money. Then he made some suggestions, where it needed to change the CV Joints. He told me where to find it online for a fraction of the cost compared to Porsche. I ordered it and ship it there. Instead of Porsche's tech note that it would cost like $680 to replace it, he also only charged me 1/3 of the price compared to dealer. So overall I paid 1/3 of what other shops had quoted me and not a dime more. So, if you own an European, Exotics, Toyota, Domestics and/or Imports, GO TO HIRO! He's my Hero now! And the money he saved me from going to other shops. And his honesty is key! That meant a lot to me! I even brought him a bottle of whisky for the money he saved me! Thank you Hiro! The car now drives better than new! So quiet and smooth! Don't go elsewhere. Hiro is very trust worthy! You will not regret! I was in a wreck a month ago and GEICO steered me to their "preferred " body shop for repairs. Fast forward a month later -car still in this incompetent shop and GEICO has stopped rental coverage within a week of getting the car back, refusing to extend my coverage. Of course car repairs and part delays are beyond my control so I would expect GEICO and Westway to make it right.. loaner car, pay Enterprise rental for the delay or extend my rental coverage. Nope--now I'm out of pocket for keeping the rental through repairs when timely repair of my car is completely out of my control and Westways responsibility. Todd Combs and Boyce Willis--How do you sleep at night screwing your customers? Extremely bad business, zero counterparty partnership on behalf of a mutual customer, lack of integrity coupled with deplorable customer experience = I am WARNING everyone I can about these two companies and their business practices. Yelp, customer reviews on every sight I can find.. the lack of service is a reflection of the character of your companies and how much you DONT VALUE your customers. When this is your response and your playbook puts dollars first and clients last the sad truth is your business eventually pays the price and profits suffer.
