Can't say it enough about this place I found them on the Internet and then took a gamble to take my vehicle in to have it serviced. Albiet I have an old car but they were able to make the necessary repairs and get me back on the road. I have nothing but great things to say about this location in the meantime we're going to have to take it back and have more work done to it I'm more than confident that they will be more than successful with making the necessary repairs. I brought my car in for some work. They estimated the work would take 3-4 days and cost about $700. Three days later I came back and they said it was more difficult than expected and it would be a couple more days and it would be about $900. A couple days later I got the same story but the final cost would be $1200. A couple days later, I saw that the car was ready. They said the total was $1500. After I paid for it they told me, "By the way, there's no warranty. It may last a month and it may last several months." It lasted a couple months. I haven't been back to them. read more

I wish I could rate ZERO stars! I live across the street from this shop. I needed help removing a mangled drain pan bolt because my vice grips just wouldn't grip onto it good enough. Little does this guy know I've been building engines in cars, boats, motorcycles, and even commercial airplanes for half of my young adult life, 15 yrs+. Tries to charge me $45 to put a vice grip on my bolt, remove and replace a simple drain pan bolt. Says "this aint no free ride kid" Went next door to C&M Tire and they did it for $10 with a smile on their faces. Took about 7 minutes and I tipped him a Dollar per minute. This aint no free ride sir, but this is also not where you take advantage of your customers and be a total jerk. Ill Never return and adamantly spread this story. read more

Went in for a leaking transmission gasket, Jerry didn't listen to me insisting there was no gasket he then tried to aggressively upsell filters which I can do myself but he kept trying, didn't listening to me. Jerry quoted me on 785.96 after tax on the phone, when I arrived 797.47 was my total he wouldn't show me any info explaining the change. I had to reach out to Jerry b/c he never called me and a 1 day job turned into 2 days without a call‍. My gasket wasn't replaced. Enjoy the $797 b/c YOU lost repeat business. He's not a Christian but, he is a liar. They are in decline and will reap what they sow. read more

Came in for my state inspection and Mr. Windham was wonderful! Super quick and efficient, we were in and out within about 15-20 minutes. We're new to the area so he suggested a tax office we should go to as our registration was way passed expiration and we were out of there in 10 minutes! We have used Windham Automotive for several years now and have even referred some of our friend there for repairs. Jerry is very knowledgeable and always remembers me and the cars we own. He keeps up with what hes done and what we deferred to remind me of items that need to be fixed. This helps with budgeting for repairs that are not needed immediately. Always calls with estimates before making repairs regardless if it is what the car was brought in for or something else found while working on it. They did a pretty good job on my car, I would deathly recommend them to somebody. It did take a while

It was ok, I thought Jerry was helpful and personable. I just don't think my repair was extensive enough to make more than 1 hour of labor, he marked up the parts 200% and that really sucked! The initial quote to do an alternator was $160.00 higher, he came down some but I felt like I was held hostage on the deal. I paid $362.00 plus tax on an alternator that was $180 or less online/parts stores. Then the core charge for my old one, probably end up something back to him. I was my first timer, I read promising reviews and tried to do my homework. I am familiar with cars and do a lot of my own regular maintenance work. This one was little bit more than I could do or didn't have equipment for. I think ill continue to look around the area in the event of next time happens. read more
