I had a wreck in November. Radiator was busted in wreck. They call me on 12/18 saying it was ready. I picked up my car drove 6 miles still over heating!!!! They had to tow it back to the shop. They are not taking responsibility for releasing my car to me while it was still over heating!!! read more

Had an idiot spin me on the interstate and keep on going. Entire passengers side rear quarter panel was crushed. Proggresive said to drop it off to Joe Hudson's in Garland. Said it would take until next Friday, I dropped it off on the Thursday prior and picked up my rental. They sent me updates via text daily and had it ready on Wednesday 2 days early. Can't even tell that it was hit. Absolutely amazing service and even reached out to Proggresive to get the deductible lowered to fall under Uninsured Motorist. Hopefully I'll never need them again, but if I do, they're the one I'm taking it to! read more

My trunk wasn't staying closed and I calLed them up. The lady who answered the phone was really nice. I got there they took a look at my car gave me a fiar quote to replace the latch, it was fixed my the next day. They had to order the part, that's the only reason it couldn't get fixed that day. These guys are THIEVES. Used this place for an insurance claim because they were the closest that Geico offered. Terrible mistake. Came back to pick it up because it was deemed a total loss (but we wanted to keep it) and find out the passenger side seat belt is missing the bottom bracket bolt which definitely did NOT arrive that way. Asked the staff to ask around and was greeted with the manager who curtly told me he's not even going to investigate this matter at all because the car was deemed a total loss. I feel like the least he could do was lie to me and say he asked his staff but to straight up deny my concerns, gaslighting me into thinking we drove around without a seat belt??? So disappointed considering such a high score on Google. Thankfully they're not my go to mechanic. read more

Yesterday something awful happened to my car so today i brought up to joe hudsons upset and explained to them i teally didnt want to make a claim and Mr. Shelby said i can get this go get comfortable. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. An eight day repair turned into a 20+ day job. They would call once a week and say the car would be ready "tomorrow". This went on for about 2 weeks. When the car was ready and they called, it still was not ready and I had to wait another 30 minutes for them to wash it. To put the icing on the cake, they had not communicated to the insurance on the final authorization for the rental. Poor and inaccurate communication ruled this process. read more

Got an email yesterday saying the person I'd been working with was "not here anymore" and asking what I wanted.... Our vehicle was there for 104 days. They knew they were having problems ordering parts and our car was drivable and we could have waited until the parts came in but they took the vehicle anyways. When we went to pick it up after 104 days our 8 year old sons wallet was in the vehicle minus the $100 he had in it. It was a Spider-Man wallet and someone there stole from an 8 year old. When we called they basically dismissed it. We shouldn't have left it in the vehicle, forgot it was even there but to steal from a child is reprehensible!!! read more

Joe Hudson's in Starkville is terrible. Took my car in and carefully explained that in my wreck that ripped the under plate out from my car my radiator reservoir was also cracked. I even had a video of this. The "estimator" seriously tried to tell me that it was my wiper fluid reservoir in the video. Told my ins that it was normal wear and tear when they finally figured out what it was causing the car to overheat, and lied and said the ins told her it was wear and tear instead of the other way around. The ins co even said there was nothing sent in about it for a long time and when they sent it to them they didn't even take pictures. A 3 day repair (even without this issue) turned into almost two weeks and still had to take the car to a mechanic to be fixed. Even the mechanic said it had to have happened from the wreck considering it was cracked. My child goes to college in Starkville and I got their name off of a fb parent page. I will be going back to make sure everyone on there knows exactly what happened. read more

I'm giving Joe's 5 stars because they really delivered. My truck was hit last month, and through Geico, it was delivered to Joe's. I didn't have a chance to get the majority of my belongings out of the truck due to not having a vehicle to put it in. So it sat on their yard over the weekend. I got there 10 minutes before they opened in Monday, and they unlocked their doors, as I was there with another lady. That's just unheard of, to unlock your doors to take care of customers before you open. I received up to date text messages daily. These is a great, excellent choice of a place to take your vehicle to be repaired. They did an excellent job and kept me updated along the way. And it was easy getting my rental there and dropping it off too. I had complete trust in them! They really make sure you are satisfied and feel appreciated. Beware of this place! Geico paid this shop to put a new bumper on my car. After two attempts I never got it. The bumper corner kept sticking out exactly as it did after the collision. They gave me two receipts showing nothing owed. Now they are threatening to repo my car after Geico paid Service King to replace the bumper. Service King emailed Geico that the bumper was never replaced and they just spot painted it with a flat paint. read more

This review is more so towards the Geico rep and the front desk clerk. I was a few minutes late and they refused to help me. The Geico rep wasn't doing anything when I arrived and could have reviewed my car and got me in but the refused to. I left and will never use them if I need a body shop. read more

My car was taken here June 14 to repair extensive hail damage. I went through my insurance agency's collision center who took care of delivering and picking up the vehicle. When I went to pick up my car when it was finished I found several deep scratches on the hatch that were not there before I took it in. The insurance representative looked at pictures from when I brought it in to verify that the scratches happened while at the body shop. After talking to a few people who know about body repair they felt it happened when the body shop did the pointless repair process from the equipment they use. There is no way the technician didn't know they scratched up my car. Instead of taking responsibility they sent it back. I guess they thought I wouldn't notice. In my experience with this company they are sketchy and I would recommend using another body shop. Shame on Joe Hudson Collision Center for not taking care of the damage they did to my car. read more
