    House Special Lo mein....
    Joe G.

For those of you staying in Miami and tiring of the excellent Cuban cuisine.... I encourage you to try King's Chef. This takeout is well above the level of most Chinese takeout restaurants. The food was deliciously fresh with large portions that are not hard on the pocketbook. Delivery was prompt and the food came hot off the wok. When tired of the usual feel free to reach out and order from King's Chef. You will not be disappointed. Until next time...Enjoy !!!

Drunken noodles, beef lo mein, and sesame chicken

I got takeout from King Chef tonight and was disappointed with the food quality, which was worse than most of the Chinese takeout meals I've had. The sesame chicken was alright, but tasted worse with each additional piece. The drunken noodles were decent, but the ratio of noodles to other things could have been larger. The beef lo mein was the most disappointing of the items that I ordered, as it was very bland. The actual restaurant interior is similar to other Chinese takeout places that I've seen. The parking space in front is limited. Overall, King Chef was below my expectations for Chinese takeout food. If it weren't Christmas today, I probably wouldn't have gone here in the first place, and I most likely would've gotten a better meal. I do have to commend them for being open on Christmas though, as many other places were closed. If I had to choose between death by starvation and King Chef, I'd happily choose King Chef.

Vegetable Lo Mein (yes it's juicy, not dry noodles)

This is my go-to place! I love my food saucy and they make it with enough sauce to eat with rice alone too (for next-day breakfast) :) . It's all so good. I don't have a picture of the Dumplings but they are AMAZING too! I've had the Beef Lo Mein, Shrimp Lo Mein, Veggie Lo Mein. The Szechuan shrimp is my all-time favorite!! But All are great. The rice is always fresh. Comes really hot. Im hoping they keep it up with this amazing quality food.

The best around! Everything was fresh. Great size portions. I'm highly recommend this place!read more

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE INSPECTED ASAP!!!…read more The difference between the image presented online and the reality inside this restaurant is unbelievable. If customers could see what goes on behind the counter before ordering, I think many would choose somewhere else. What I saw inside completely destroyed my appetite. (See photo attached) Missing ceiling tiles, exposed hanging wires, clutter everywhere, papers and random items scattered around the counter, supplies piled on top of cabinets, and a workspace that looked neglected and poorly maintained. It felt more like a junkie restroom toilet than a restaurant customers should trust with their food. The online photos and delivery apps create one impression. The reality inside creates a very different one. To make matters worse, the owners and staff were rude, SUPER RUDE, dismissive, and disrespectful. They scream at you!! Customer service seems to be the last thing they care about. The food was disappointing, tasted far below average, and left me regretting the purchase almost immediately. After seeing the conditions behind the counter, I couldn't stop thinking about what I had just eaten. Restaurants don't need to be fancy, but they should be clean, organized, and respectful to their customers. This place failed on all three. There are too many good Chinese restaurants in Miami to waste your money here. I will never return, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering ordering from this place to visit in person first and decide for themselves.

Amazing service and food for an affordable price. We were told that we should both order a meal, because it would be small a portion size, which was not so! It was a lot of food. Can easily split between 2 people. We ordered dinner combos: Chicken and Vegetables and Sesame Chicken. Best Sesame Chicken I have ever had in my life. It was the sauce! Yum, yum, yum!

Good, value, Chinese food in Miami Springs…read more I was spending one night near the airport before flying out, and this fast food Chinese restaurant popped up. It's Miami, so wasn't sure if it was Latin American Chinese style. I took a look at the menu, and it seemed the same as any other American Chinese restaurant. Stuck with things not deep fried or spicy, and it ended up pretty good. The large standalone building has seen better days, with most of it not being used. The dining room is closed, with just a few tables for waiting and for those folks who just have to eat the food right away. I placed my order, got it in a well packaged bag, and took it back to my hotel room to eat. Seafood Cantonese ($15.55) - light white sauce, well flavored. Came with a lot of seafood, including jumbo shrimp, large scallops, and big pieces of imitation krab. The broccoli had been sautéed well. The dish came with white rice, delivered in a clam shell instead of the typical Chinese takeout container. Mixed Wonton/Egg Drop Soup ($4.55) - a decent soup, with big, large wontons. A lot of locals came in to order Sunday dinner while I was waiting. Always a good sign when customers are predominantly local, even with so many hotels close by.

BEWARE! There's a 20% service fee!!!…read more My fiance and I were raving all about how good the food was after stumbling upon it. Dan Dan noodles had so much flavor, chili beef dumplings were thick and juicy, and the pork and shrimp dumplings were cooked perfectly. However when my fiance asked for a check all we got was one of the handheld devices with the total. I thought it was strange when the server said tipping was optional after the tap, and the options were 1%, 3%, and 5%. Since the food and service were great, I wanted to tip 15%, so I changed it to a custom value and did my own math. However when I got my printed receipt, there was a 20% service fee, plus my custom tip of 15%. Being from LA, when restaurants have the mandatory service fee, they usually tell you at the host stand or after you just sat down. I felt like this place was shady although it is in their fine print on their menu. What the server could have done is said "service fee is already included," after the tap, not "tipping is optional." I did like the service, but the 35% tip was not well deserved. I didn't feel like they went above and beyond and like I said, there's a special type of mannerism that I feel was a huge miss about the service fee, which could of been handled more professionally.
