I initially came to her with a design idea for my veil that was pretty overdone. Cathy was happy to meet my wishes but discussed with me options that met my style but were more unique. I'm so happy she was honest and that I went with her suggestions! I had a French Quarter New Orleans wedding and I feel like the design Cathy created matched that vibe perfectly (waaaaaay better than what I initially had in mind!!). She truly made a one of a kind piece. There are a ton of hidden details that make the veil romantic, like two birds flying together to represent my husband and me, and our initials and wedding date. I also wanted something "blingy" but not tacky. Cathy and her team used clear and iridescent Swarovski crystals on my veil and belt to give it that "shimmer" effect without being over the top. I also kept losing weight before the wedding and Cathy and her team were so flexible to continuously have to take the dress in. Her seamstresses are hilarious and professional! She sometimes would bring them in so they could all collaborate. Three minds are always better than one! Cathy's a perfectionist and if she's not 100% sure, she pulls in her team to make sure. It really felt like the work they were doing was uniquely for ME and my style, body, and requests. I'm so grateful for their work, it was so so beautiful and better than I could've ever imagined--thank you!

Mannerisms are a little bit quicker and coarser unlike other shops that will hold your hand through everything. They were offering me a discount to buy off-the-rack and some free alterations. I called back to take the offer after my other appointment and they hurriedly took my payment info. But they called me 30 min later to say they had actually sold it to another bride a few hours ago. They did make up for it by by ordering the dress in my size for me and still giving me the discount. They called me when my dress came in, which was a bit earlier than the estimated time! Honestly, I love love love my dress! I didn't want to take it off after any of my fittings. They treat and store your dress between fittings very well. And alteration prices are reasonable -- $100 for a bustle. There was a needle buried in the layers of one of the dresses I tried on, so be careful of that as well. They have a small but decent selection of wedding (and bridesmaids) dresses. There are only two dressing rooms so an appointment is a must!

I bought a Rebecca Ingram gown from her shop and once it came in, Na completed all my alteration requests making a completely new and basically custom wedding gown. And because I am military and live in Texas (grew up in VA) Na altered my dress in just one weekend while I was in town. She did a phenomenal job! DONT SPEND A TON OF MONEY AT BOUTIQUES IN DC! Great price here in Leesburg and wonderful service!

I've been using Prosperity Cleaners since moving to the area about three years ago. I've always…read morethought they were on the expensive side, especially at roughly $5 to $7 or more per shirt, but the work got done and, until now, the pricing was really my only complaint. Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. I dropped off 15 shirts and was given a receipt showing a total of $79. When I returned to pick them up, I was charged $108. That is almost a $30 increase from the price on the receipt I was given. I politely questioned the difference and showed them my $79 receipt. I was told that some of my shirts had to be hand pressed because of the material, which resulted in additional charges. My issue is simple. They had the shirts in front of them when I dropped them off and gave me a receipt for $79. If certain shirts required special handling that would increase the price by nearly $30, I should have been told before the work was performed. What bothered me even more was the explanation that this is why they do not charge until pickup, because the price can change. Really? I can understand a small adjustment under unusual circumstances, but going from $79 to $108 is roughly a 37% increase from the price I was originally given, without notifying me or getting my approval. What also concerns me now is that I rarely bring my original receipt when I pick up my clothes. Normally, they simply look up my order using my phone number and I pay whatever amount comes up. This time I happened to have the receipt with me, which is the only reason I noticed the discrepancy. I cannot say whether this has happened on previous orders, but after this experience, I certainly wonder. My advice to other customers is simple: keep your receipt and compare the quoted price to what you are actually charged at pickup. For three years, I accepted paying their higher prices because they provided a service I was generally satisfied with. But I cannot accept being quoted one amount, having the work performed, and then being told at pickup that I owe substantially more. The cleaning itself was fine. This review is about the pricing practice and how the situation was handled. After three years as a customer, they have lost my business. If I could give zero stars based on this experience, I would.
