Always LOVE coming to KCBC when we're in NY. Wouldn't be a trip unless we went there. Staff is always awesome, the tap list is always phenomenal and the vibe is always right. Didn't get any beer pictures this time around, just doggos.

Kings County Brewers Collective (KCBC) is a Brooklyn-based brewery that produces a wide variety of beers, including IPAs, sours, pale ales, and barrel-aged lagers. They have a nice variety on their tap list ranging all the styles. KCBC is known for its colorful can art, quirky beer names, and consistent hits. They also collaborate with artists, musicians, restaurants, and other breweries. KCBC beers are available at their taproom in Bushwick, as well as in bars, restaurants, and stores across New York State and other states. While there, I had a variety of small pours. Notorious BRD: A German Pilsner brewed with German Pils Malt and a heavy hopping of Tettanagner, Hallertau, and NY Grown 032 Experimental Hops. New Squids On the Block: A New England Style IPA Squeezy Street: A Sour Belgian Blonde aged 18 Months in French Oak with Wild Yeasts and Colombian Yellow Peaches. Year 8: A Pastry Stout consisting of a blend of Stout aged 24 months in Willet Rye Barrels and Stout aged 36 Months in Widow Jane Bourbon Barrels. Then it was conditioned on Organic Cacao Nibs from Ecuador, Espresso Roasted Bourbon Aji Coffee Beans from Columbia, Marshmallow, and Graham Cracker. Anchorham: An Imperial Hazy IPA brewed with Citra, Galaxy, and Oregon Grown Luminosa. __________

I liked this place. It hosted a yoga class prior to opening the doors. Cool use of space. The beer was good, try the IPAs. Cool can art, very nice staff, open space inside with more outdoor seating. If you are in Bushwick you should stop in.

Such a great brewery bar with amazing vibes and large selection of beer on tap! Also have many promotions and seasonal beers available! The bartender Emily is amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer options.

Kings County Brewers Collective is a craft brewery that opened in Brooklyn, New York in July 2016. It was founded by friends and business partners Zack Kinney, Tony Bellis and Pete Lengyel. The trio met through a New York City homebrewing club in 2015. Although they came from different backgrounds, they had a shared dream of brewing beer as a collective. They eventually acquired a 5,000-square-foot former auto body shop in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood. The brewery's opening marked the first brick-and-mortar brewery in Bushwick in 40 years. The neighborhood was once home to a thriving beer-drinking German immigrant community. At its peak, Bushwick was home to 14 breweries within a 14 block area. Following the New York State hop blight and Prohibition, the last of the Bushwick breweries (Rheingold and Schaefer) closed in 1976. KCBC often uses humorous names for their beers; often inspired by films and featuring the unmistakable artwork of former comic book illustrator Earl Holloway. The brewery's unofficial mascot is 'Sally the Octopus'. She first appeared on the can art for one of KCBC's IPAs and since then she has popped up on other cans, merchandise, and inside the taproom. I visited KCBC this past summer while I was cycling around NYC. I was trying out a number of Brooklyn breweries and pizzerias and this was my sixth and final stop of the day. I had first tried one of their beers at Tørst (a popular craft beer bar in nearby Greenpoint) and have been a fan ever since. The taproom was cozy and inviting, the staff were friendly, and Sally the Octopus could be seen anywhere you looked. I picked a seat at the bar and decided to order a taster flight which included "Child of Zombie" (Fruited Sour), "Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun" (DDH New England IPA), "Dirty Prancing" (DDH Double IPA), and "The Darkness Beneath: Golden" (Rye Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout). Every single beer I tried was excellent, but I especially liked the latter. Overall I had an excellent experience at KCBC and I look forward to returning!

Awesome brewery with friendly staff and lots of great drink choices. The place smelled heavily of hops which just added to the atmosphere.

This is a top notch brewery. Great vibes. Great atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating. Fast service. GREAT BEER. Just check their untappd ratings and they speak for themselves. One of the better breweries in NYC I'm so glad I got to finally try them at their main location! I have attached their menu of the day here too. Worth a visit for sure

We loved this place and it exceeded our expectations. We came in a not busy Saturday and gladly seated right away. I enjoyed the ambiance. Simple yet hip and chic. My husband enjoyed their draft beer selections. He had taken 2 glasses only but the first one he picked has 11% ipa , an imperial stout. He finds it really good and he highly recommended it. I enjoyed my flavored seltzer that is in a beer like can and the size is incredibly likable. There nothing much in the food menu but enough to satisfy my hunger. Service is exceptional, place is quite relaxing to get few drinks, few board games are available to use and the crowd is REALLY nice. A good spot to swing by when in the area.

My first time to visit this place. We just happen to be exploring this part of Brooklyn. Looking from the outside, this place seems to be a good place to have a little drink and eat. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, we opted to seat indoor. The atmosphere and the ambiance is hip, chic, cool and fun. I like that it is spacious, lots of tables and seats. The place was not packed at the time of our visit. They provide hand sanitizers on each table which is a biggie for me. Staff are very welcoming, accommodating and gracious. I was easily able to see their beer list on their big wall board. They have really cool names of their beer, even the salsa name is awesome. Me and my wife ordered a beer (Imperial stout), a seltzer (liquid death), chips and salsa (dreams aren't this good), downside is they just offer snacks, I was hungry at the time of our visit. I had a second beer which I happen to enjoy (sir wits a lot). The chips and salsa are of fair prices, their brews are bar prices, I was expecting that it was a little lower as it is a brewery. It is still a very good place to hang out.

I've stopped by quite a few times now and always find some great brews. Their draft list rotates quite frequently, which always means there is something new to try! They brew some amazing sours and stouts. I look forward to my next visit!

This is my favorite Brooklyn brewery, hands down. A lot of the time I bring first dates here because it's such a chill spot to drink and talk. Lively, but not too loud and there's lots of restaurants to walk to nearby. They don't sell food but you can bring your own and they have snacks as well. The taproom is really large and beautiful...think high ceilings, keg high top tables and floor to ceiling windows all around. I love that you can see the actual brewery through the windows behind the bar. The bartenders are all easy going and friendly - good conversation, attentive and make informed suggestions. POC approved, never had a weird moment or an empty glass! The beers change frequently so there's always something new to discover along with the OG offerings. It's very low key on weekdays but get crowded on the weekends, especially if you want to sit outside. If you don't wanna brave the crowds, they have cans to go too! Literally can't say enough good things about this place, I love it there

Fun and super accommodating to our large group! We had no reservation (I don't even think you can make one) but KCBC was able to immediately seat our group of 15 at two outdoor tables. The atmosphere was fun and all the staff members were nice and welcoming! They even managed to get us inside, once it started raining pretty hard. KCBC doesn't have food (just snacks) but you can easily bring some from the food trucks nearby or Artichoke Pizza (or really any other nearby options). The beer selection was awesome and I loved the dry cider. Great time!

However, my friends and I were here for the food, so that's what this review is based on. She-wolf Sourdough (7/10) - It was good bread, but nothing really special. Hot Crab Dip (7/10) - Very veggie forward flavors, but you do taste crab. Not bad. Btw, this dish comes with a few pieces of the She-Wolf Sourdough. Danish Dog (7.5/10) - Great snap to the bite of the dog itself. Bread was great. Pickles are interesting, but the curry mayo should be stronger and more bold. Simple mustard would have been better. Old Bay Chicken Wings (8/10) - Nice plump and juicy wings with that dusting of Old Bay seasoning. Yum! Fried Chicken Sandwich (5/10) - Chicken was fried well and bread was fine. However, the chili miso honey was way too much for me. Too sweet, not spicy at all, and just didn't work well. Dry Aged Burger (7/10) - Beef patty needs more seasoning and a better crust. No real char at all, though a decent beef flavor was present. Not into the sprouts, but the tomato jam was good. From what I heard, I had high hopes for the food here. In the end, it was a satisfying meal, but nothing special something I travel so far for again.

You order your food & drinks at the bar, but they bring the food out to wherever you're sitting once it's ready. As for the cocktails, they were both great!! The Frozen Espresso Martini was very creatively presented and I enjoyed the look and taste of it. The Yuzu Sake was strong and great quality! For the food, both the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Smash Burger were delicious!! The Fried Chicken Sandwich especially tasted so unique and creative with the sauce on it, but I also just really loved the solid burger and could tell it had excellent quality. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Torst, and I highly recommend stopping by to grab some of their food and drinks!

He started out as a salesman for Brooklyn Brewery during the 1980s. Eventually he founded his own beer imports company called Raven Importing Company. Raven ultimately wanted to open his own craft beer bar and bottle shop where he could offer consumers microbrews and high quality European brews. The new business, dubbed Brouwerij Lane, was the first of its kind in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood. Brouwerij Lane has 19 rotating draught lines as well as 150+ cans and bottles of local, imported, rare and unique craft brews. Raven also teamed up with brewmaster Chris Prout to open the Dirck the Norseman restaurant and brewpub in 2014. It later evolved into Greenpoint Beer & Ale Company, but it sadly closed its doors in 2024. I recently visited Brouwerij Lane while I was in Brooklyn to see a concert. I arrived early in the day so I could explore some beer bars and shops throughout Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Both neighborhoods have bustling craft beer scenes. Brouwerij Lane has been on my list of places to explore for a while. The interior is small but cozy. There were maybe six other customers enjoying beers when I arrived. I grabbed a table and then looked over the impressive draught menu. I decided to start off with a pour of Mighty Squirrel Brewing's "Volare" (Italian Pilsner). Italian Pilsners are my favorite variety of pilsners, and this one was excellent. Dry-hopped with noble hops, "Volare" (Italian for 'to fly') was crisp and delicious with a nice blend of citrusy notes and hints of freshly baked bread. I also had a look at the shop's impressive can/bottle selection and purchased a can of Brown Girl's Brew's "Lemon Pound Cake" (Lager) to take home. Before leaving, I enjoyed a pour of Brouwerij Van Steenberge's "Tripel De Garre" (Belgian Tripel). This was an AMAZING Belgian beer that had some excellent spice notes. I had an excellent experience at Brouwerij Lane and I highly recommend them to craft beer aficionados or those who want to learn about craft beer!
