Has a good selection, I usually find what I need. Cost is higher than Cub on most items, prices similar to Coborn's. Negatives: You MUST watch the expiration dates!!! Over the years I have found out of date Organ milk (told them, went back later that week still expired told them again and emailed the company, went back and problem fixed). Found Organic expired milk again much later, told the staff and the problem was fixed. Recently found boxes of expired cream cheese, told staff about it, went back later and expired items were pulled and new items stocked.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The store has some unique and worthwhile items on the store shelves - including 12 packs of Tab (which preceded Diet Coke) and frozen Gino's East pizzas from Chicago! The only room for improvement I know of would be a self service check-out, new grocery carts to replace the ones that are bent up and perhaps a little more care and tending to the lawns in the summer - unless you love clover.

Of the stores in Menomonie, we think their beef is of the highest quality. We really like them-- I have been trying to get them to do a local food fair and a ad spread to support it . Wisconsin has wonderful artisan cheese makers and several are very near Menomonie -- Eau Galle Cheese-- but the store doesn't carry them. Area apples and produce are incredible -- So to get my fifth star -- Marketplace needs to host a local food fair--in the store -- and show off and stock our wonderful local food producers -- I don't have a dog in this fight --- just want the local producers and store to bond -- i.e.just trying to get up the date -- but I hope they eventually marry.

No smile, no hello, nothing to suggest I was anything but an inconvenience. Not once has any other employee demonstrated such cold, unwelcoming behavior. My fear is she may be the wife of one of the owners. I enjoy the store for many reasons but the poor customer service demonstrated by this woman, Cashier 0020, is reason enough to cease going. Bruce's management: if she is someone's wife, I feel sorry for you. If not, perhaps it's time to school the older gal in appropriate customer service. This cute little co-op is smack in the center of Cambridge. They have a nice sized parking lot with…read morea coffee shop and bookstore inside along with the food. Since COVID-19, they are now requiring masks in order for you to enter. When I visited, everyone complied. The prices here vary. Sometimes an item will be vastly cheaper than from somewhere else and others will be much more expensive. But, this is a co-op so whatever you pay will go back to local farmers and product owners so I think it's worth it either way. There aren't a ton of aisles but they have a relatively good freezer section (and even had a sale for 2/$7 Ben and Jerry's ice cream!). Their coffee shop is really cute too. I didn't go inside the book store but it's right next to the coffee shop which also offers snacks and has a small sitting area for you to eat a snack or finish your coffee.
