Breathtaking absolutely stunning. We got one large unit with two bedrooms, two bath and a pullout sofa, huge kitchen, huge living room, eating area the bedrooms are big the bathrooms are big everything was beautiful, clean and modern. It had an attached apartment like an Inlaw apartment for my elderly mom so she had a walk in. She also had a Jacuzzi a huge bedroom. She had to pull out a little eating area and a mini kitchen they we were all decks around the people were wonderful they were activities, and of course, for us so much to see in colonial Williamsburg Both units had stacked washer and dryers that worked perfectly

Let's start with the checks in experience. The two folks at the main desk were very nice. That's probably the only positive thing I'm going to say in this review. You then have to wait to get your "parking pass." Which is actually the salesperson's chance to talk you into coming for a 90 minute presentation on how beautiful their facility is "but they aren't going to try and sell you anything"....yeah right. That line took about 15 minutes because there was only one person working that desk and she was busy answering questions to the people in front of me that she was selling on a 90 minute presentation. The outside of everything here is beautiful. It's obvious they spend a lot of money keeping it up. The inside is cheap and worn. In the place we stayed- - worn carpets (with holes and serious stains) - shower curtain fell - fireplace didn't work - worst sheets EVER (Econo Lodge has better linens) - 3 pillows on a king size bed - hair in the shower - floors that creek and pop everywhere I admit I should have checked Yelp before I booked on Air B&B. We won't do this place again.

this is the certificate that Matthew claimed would provide us a week of vacation for $49. The tiny print actually says $209!!!

Spending 4 hours for the timeshare presentation was a huge mistake and the staff deceived us so we would purchase from them. First, Rachel led us to believe that the timeshare would include the use of the Kingsmill pools, at any time. My husband didn't want to purchase but I got excited about the use of the Kingsmill pools in front of Rachel and him and told him the cost would be worth it so we could spend time with friends at the Kingsmill pools. I asked how we would get access and Rachel told us we would receive a packet in the mail in approximately one month that would include the pass needed for the pools. What a lie!!!! I waited a month and received a packet but it didn't contain anything for Kingsmill pools. I went to the customer service desk at the Kings Creek pool and I was informed that I do NOT have any access to Kingsmill pools, only Kingsmill beach and only on the dates that I use my points to reserve the timeshare. Of course, I had been tricked and it was already past the 7-day cancellation period. In addition, while signing the documentation, Matthew advised us that we would not need to start using their points that year. He advised that for just $49.00 per week, we could still use our membership for vacations and hold off on the points until 2023. Matthew gave us two certificates and stated they would allow us to pay $49.00 for a week-long vacation and that we could always get more Certificates. We did as recommended by Mr. Joyner so we would not have to pay the 2022 maintenance fee. However, after reading the fine print on the Certificates, the fee is actually $209.00 to reserve a week!!!! Because of this false information, we waived the use of our points for the 2022 year and do not have any points in the timeshare account to use for vacations, as well as being required to pay $209.00 instead of $49.00. However, we still have to pay $200/month on the mortgage for nothing!!! We contacted the manager, Julie Martin at least 5 times via phone, email, and certified letter from our lawyers. She has refused to refund any money or cancel the policy. This fraud is highly unethical and we will warn others about the deceitful practices of the Kings Creek business to as many people as possible in an effort to keep this from occurring to others.

Our room was spacious, nice kitchen & seating area, comfy bed & good toiletries to use. The grounds are nicely kept, u have 3 pools not bad best is the adults only pool which was nice. They have a Sly Clyde on premises good for food & drinks, we kept getting the Frozen tropical one nice & refreshing, some beers as well not bad. Only complain was weather was a little choppy so they made u get out the pool a few times which u can understand but u couldn't use the indoor pool either? Which didn't make sense. They have a game area inside, movie theater, tennis court & restaurant where u can also grab some food for sit down or take out. Seems like a lot of complains about the resort looking outdated? our building was nice, we thought the grounds looked good very colonial which I would assume u can expect it being colonial Williamsburg. We had no issues with checking in, out or were bothered with any type of sales pitch am sure our late arrival helped with that. Overall we had a nice stay, we enjoyed our time & would not mind coming back for a future visit as this was a very easy trip.

There may be a family that benefits from housekeeping that swings a door into your feet at 9am, because they are hanging off of a creaky bed, but it certainly wasn't mine. Never mind the pretentiousness of a pretend cigar lounge, meaning not one to smoke in but just an aesthetic throwback to a time when people actually enjoyed themselves at this location. Not that one would want a cigar after eating chocolate pudding that tastes like it was infused with Trix cereal or any of the other dishes who sacrifice taste for novelty. I would have at least been frightened by the Colonial Williamsburg ghost tour, but after staying at this location, I realized that even the spirits probably wouldn't stick around.

First of all, there was an instruction card that came with the reservation however while it did indicate that there is a backdoor, it did not inform that this was the 'main' entrance. There is very limited parking and if you want to park across at the church on or the street, you are at risk of towing. They have no passes for parking in these locations. The beds are their own issue. If you are vertically challenged, you will have great difficulty getting into the main beds. We stayed in a 'suite' (I use this term laughingly as it was just two connecting rooms) that had another room with twin beds. While the main bed seemed to have a mattress from the last century, the twin beds were ancient. The "pillows" that they give you are quite literally flatter than a pancake they would serve you for breakfast. The suite we stayed in was in the front of the house and there is no insulation to cancel ANY of the traffic noises from outside. It was very very stuffy inside and I wasn't able to open a window. We asked for a step stool and were given one that wasn't even as high as a normal step on a staircase. It was still very difficult to get in to the bed. At no time while I was there did I see, hear or meet the host/hostess of the B&B. The only time we met any employee was in the morning during breakfast. These ladies were AMAZING. They almost made up for the lack of any other service or greeting in their friendliness. The breakfast was late the day I was there. There are signs everywhere stating that it would be served at 8:30 but it was closer to 9:30. I'm an early riser so this was a bit of an inconvenience. At least the coffee was available. They had eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal etc. It was set up as a buffet style in a very stylish area of the serving area. The dining room table is gorgeous but there are no placemats to put your plates on, I felt very worried about scratching this gorgeous table. The non guest rooms were fit with comfy areas to just relax and chill after a day of being a tourist. The furniture may not have been the most comfortable, but given how cozy each area was this was easily forgiven. I really enjoyed that each room had a Christmas tree already set up. This is not very handicapped friendly as no matter which way you enter, there are very old steps. The front steps were especially bad. To sum up; Parking; F Comfort; B Room Comfort: C+ Breakfast: A Location: A- Price: C (for our experience it was really really pricey)

They of course apologized and said moving wouldn't be a problem. I stopped by the next morning and they assured me they were going to move me to a different room and would call to let me know when it was ready. They did move us to a much better room along the lines of what I expected. They also removed one night from our stay. It is a pretty hotel but I am concerned with the judgement of putting paying guests into the first room we were in. They gave excuses of a wedding and funeral but then just take the room offline and move us to another hotel for a night. We've stayed at The Jefferson, The Historic Cavalier and other luxury hotels and this one fell far short.

WARNING WARNING WARNING Don't Stay Here!!!…read moreWe stayed November 7 thur 14 2025. The bed was comfortable, and the location was good. It goes downhill from there. Very basic unit, no frills. Windows were sealed and unabled to be opened. The toilets were extremely low, as though they were made for children. There were no handrails making it difficult for a 77 year old to get up. Also, there were no handrails in the shower, a large safety concern. The wifi was very slow when it worked, usually non-existent. I now see from other reviews that this is not a new issue. Management just doesn't care. The TV pixelated constantly, making watching it impossible. I spoke with staff numerous times and the issue was never resolved. Tiny kitchen, everything miniature, few accruments. Coffee pot needed cleaning to the point that coffee from it was undrinkable. Whoever purchased the sofa obviously never sat on it for more than 5 minutes, very uncomfortable. No washer and dryer in unit. There is no hot tub on property. The unit needed a good cleaning. You could write in the dust on the bathroonm cabinet shelves. They also charge an unadvertized "daily resort fee". My best guess is that the property is an old hotel converted to Bluegreen's idea of a resort. No comparison to real resorts we have stayed previously, would not stay here again. Bluegreen shoud be ashamed and embarrassed.

Just a short walk to the downtown Old Town Williamsburg area, which is a huge plus. Nice indoor pool. And he staff was very helpful --- except for one person. But stop the damned hard sell --- it's actually a turn-off to those of us who specifically say that we don't want it and we are much less likely to ever stay there again, regardless of how nice it is. While we'd love to next time we're in Williamsburg, we are really hesitating due solely to this.
