Father day weekend was perfect at this quite family oriented campground. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 not very much was opening in the surrounding area, but we made the best of the situation. Camp sites are perfectly maintained. Plenty of trash facilities. We are self contained so we didn't have to use the bathroom or shower houses but from the outside they looked very clean and welcoming. The store had everything you could possibly need through your stay. Ice cream parlor on site too bad I'm lactose intolerant let me add this campground is on the theme park property and has shuttles back and forth which is so convenient.

Great staff. Friendly & helpful starting with the cashiers to the ground keepers. The sites were nice & spacious with full hook ups. Shuttle service to and from King's Dominion. Good location and a lot of amenities.

This is a very clean campground. The bathhouse are extremely clean. We tent camped and it was shaded and clean. Camp store is well stocked.

Visited from TN. Purchased the Fast Pass Plus bands and it was a rip off due to the fact that at least 4 of the big rides were down...at least 4. My suggestion is to contact them prior to purchasing to see if the rides will be running before making that expensive purchase. It turned out to be not worth the money. The Volcano, Avalanche, Drop Tower and the Wind Sweeper (that one I probably messed up) were all down. Drinks...4 bucks...no outside food or drinks. It wasn't a complete bad experience but operable rides would have made it all worth the while.

The cabins are very nice. Kind of like a tiny house. There are two sleeping areas upstairs in the loft, a bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed, two bathrooms each with their own shower, and a living room with two futons. Each living area has its own television set. The cabin comes with a sink, mini fridge and a microwave. I really enjoy the layout of this place. Outside you have your own personal barbecue and a area to make a fire. The staff is very courteous and polite. The cabins are also extremely clean. I was very impressed with how clean these places are. It was a little more pricier than staying at an actual hotel room but I feel it was well worth the extra few dollars .

Good place for kids to play and have fun. The kids get a good workout and have fun. The food is also good but costly.

We were surprised how nice the cabin was. The Park is easy to get to and the park is very nice. It is right off of the highway. The folks who run this place is very nice. It was a little more than we were looking to spend but the stop was convenient. We arrived after hours and our reservation information was available at the office. We were not provided with a receipt by email or paper, so I was a little disappointed by that. I always receive a receipt in some form when staying at a campground. Other than that, the grounds appeared to be well kept. The sites weren't too close together. Unfortunately I did have a hard time sleeping. In the middle of the night, people were grouped up and speaking very loudly directly behind our camper. I never had that happen before. Their conversation was very loud and kept waking me up. We left really early in the morning the next day so we weren't able to explore much more than that. It was a nice stop though.

Located by the Patuxent River with a breathtaking view, Endeavor Point, is a ridden gem with campground, private beaches you can swim, a huge fishing pier, and cottages for rentals. From the moment you step onto the grounds of this place you feel your entire body relaxing. It is an amazing experience! I rented a cottage (Mermaid Folly) for the weekend. The place was very well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room furniture, very comfortable beds with soft linens, clean baths with soft towels. In general, the place was very clean, well decorated, and very functional. What I loved the most about the cottage was the balcony with a fantastic view, sitting outside under the tree close to the water, and listening to the waves breaking by the river shore. I also loved my walks in the mornings and afternoons by the breezy beaches and pier watching people fishing, the sunrising, and the sunset. I strongly recommend Endeavor Point if you want to just relax on a visit during the day, if you like camping overnight, or staying in a very comfortable cottage over the weekend.
