Other than that, the grounds appeared to be well kept. The sites weren't too close together. Unfortunately I did have a hard time sleeping. In the middle of the night, people were grouped up and speaking very loudly directly behind our camper. I never had that happen before. Their conversation was very loud and kept waking me up. We left really early in the morning the next day so we weren't able to explore much more than that. It was a nice stop though.

The price per night at $35 per night was a bit more then it should be, but there are very few RV campgrounds near Richmond so you just have to go with it. There is water, electric, and sewer hookup. There is no cable TV, if that is your thing. It's nothing to look at, it is next door to a trailer park. The noise was not noticeable even though you are next to Highway 1. In fact, at night the highway is very empty which allows for good sleep. Would I recommend this park? Sure. Would we come back? Sure, for a day or two. Informational: We travel in a 36' Class A RV.

I have also noticed how much they focus on the values that Rise teaches - respect, leadership, politeness - which I see them practicing at home. I have caught both of them practicing at home and tell others about what they are doing. Both of them attended on a full day experience when school was closed and they were both excited to be a part of that experience, when I asked them about their favorite part of the day, they both answered the LESSON!! I highly recommend as the staff has been very supportive and connected with the kids, which has been a great experience.

Tom was our guide, Hailey, was the other rafts guide, and both were awesome. Tom knew so much about the area history and is very experienced guiding. Such an easy trip to make with fun rapids (III's and sometimes IV's). I'm sure all the guides are great, but we will ask for Tom and Hailey first next trip. Pretty impressed with this outfit. (Wish they had more merch to purchase though, just imo).

I paid $200 for my child to literally learn nothing and to feel worthless. I am beyond upset that my child was made to feel bad because her parents had not been bringing her for years. However, once you are inside you will forget that. I was here for their annual Hangover Classic event in January, so I can't speak for the coaches or the general membership of the club. However, I do know several fencers from this club who seem generally happy with the quality. There are a good number of strips, plenty of space to put down your gear and warm up. I didn't like the noise that the strips (metal mesh) made and I found it hard to focus on them - but that is a personal issue with sensory stuff. Overall, a good club to attend an event at.
