After having three trailer rentals cancel on us just days before an event that I was scheduled to…read moreattend, I stumbled across Keith at Richmond RV Rentals and figured I give I'd give them a shot and crossed my fingers that this wouldn't end up in yet another cancellation. After speaking to Keith briefly, he assured me that he wouldn't cancel and I booked the rental. When I arrived at the event on the first day, the trailers was there waiting completely set up, just like Keith said it would be. The trailer itself was nice except for a few inconsequential wear and tear items and had more than enough room for the four of us that went in on the rental. We had no issues with it at all throughout the rental period. On the last day of the rental, I contacted Keith a couple of times via text to wrap up the return of the trailer which he said he would pick up after we left the event. This was a GREAT experience and I will DEFINITELY use them again and again.

The communication, process and customer service were all top notch. Keith helped us get all set up and on the road. The camper was in great shape, super clean, and exactly as pictured. It was perfect for our family of four and the kids got a kick out of the bunk beds. We didn't use the shower just to save on the grey water tank fill but I did appreciate that it had a tiny bath tub which would be amazing if you had a toddler or baby - you could definite easily bath a small kid in there to avoid the shenanigans of a small kid in a campsite shower. The kitchen was great - coffee pot, one good sharp knife, utensils, etc. HIGHLY recommend both Richmond RV Rentals and this specific camper!!!!

They seemed to have the best price and there's a reason why. The 27 footer we rented slept 6 'comfortably' but came with a heavy cost. Let me remind you of why we got this rig in the first place... it's b/c we didn't want to camp in the rain or cold. So our first experience with this mother load was pulling out of the driveway. The alignment was terrible and had it not been for my friends forearms, we would've ended up in a ditch before even leaving the neighborhood. The worst part was when it rained almost a half inch. There was so much rain that the race was cancelled and we decided to head to a local bar. After we left, our friendly DD drove us back to a friend's house and water from the top bunk (above the cab where driver and passenger sit) poured on him by the gallons. All the windows were closed and somehow, the RV managed to catch loads of water and poured all over the driver and me (I sat right behind him). We were livid! We sucked it up and told ourselves it was a great story (maybe later) and we'd take it back and complain. While cleaning the RV, we took out all the mattress pads and saw all the mildew and mold that existed. Apparently they don't ever clean these RVs... They didn't charge us for everything (like cleaning) but it still makes me bitter.

We are completely and utterly blown away with how nice this resort is and how exceptionally friendly the staff has been. Our first encounter with the staff was with Rita over the phone when we inquired about booking a site short notice. She has been top notch since the first phone call. She originally had us booked for site #2 but then called back and said she had a better one closer to the dog park (which is incredibly nice as well for you're pets to stretch their legs and do their business). She put us in site #7 and could of not been happier. She also assisted with backing in our coach into to the spot and her excellent ground guiding skills got us in there first go perfectly. She then provided us a book of things to do and see in the area and gave us a run down. We are so thoroughly impressed with this resort we know will will try to frequent hopefully at least once a year. Thank you Rita and Bluewater Keys Resort! You impressed us greatly!

Once you click to…read moremessage an owner for even just a general question - you immediately become fair game for other RV owners to EMAIL you. RVShare says they do not share your info - but how do they explain you receiving messages that call you by your first name saying "rent me, rent me". The annoying pop-ups based on websites you visit are commonplace - but to have your name in the message is a different game. It's a very poor business practice. Shame on you RVShare!
