When moving, you always expect some things to be scratched or small things broken, just by the nature of moving - but that really was not the case after Roland moved our things. Plus, they said they would be there at 10 A.M. and they were there at 9:58 A.M.! We had two spaces that we needed their help with: Unloading into our storage unit and into our apartment... on the third floor. There were no complaints from his guys and for both locations they were EFFICIENT even on a hot and humid day. I should also mention there was a moment where Roland needed to take a call and asked for permission. Totally not necessary but so respectful and we noticed! Roland also was great in guiding his guys on how to move or lift things properly if there was any question. He did not leave them to their own devices if there was a heavy or unwieldy item. We discovered HJ is a "parent" contractor that brings together other contractors on a project. Well, the subcontractors must really like HJ because we had zero issues. Scheduling was on the mark, contractors showed up and finished on time, all were friendly, clean a respectful of our property, and the entire project was complete when they said it would be. There were even a few issues where they ran into unexpected obstacles. Instead of putting them off, the persevered and got them conquered the same day to stay on schedule. The only minor issue was a slight defect we found in the tiling after the project completed. We made the call and they came out the same day and fixed the issue. We're quite satisfied and have our eye on them now for our kitchen.

Doug Dushan gave me a tour of the facilities and explained their capabilities and was eager to answer all of my questions. Their showroom is basically a mock up of what I'd imagine Tom Brady's house looks like. TVs everywhere. Speakers stealthily installed behind walls and in the ceiling. It was incredible. And then there's the home theater. Oh my god the theater! It's a 14 seat home theater that is straight out of Best of MTV Cribs (remember that show? With Master P living like a king?) He let me pick a few scenes of movies to get a vibe for what they can do, and needless to say, I was amazed. Their engineering appeared to be top notch. Doug took me back to where they would build and test my media server and the accompanying electronics before they would be installed in my home. I really appreciate this attention to detail. Most home theater outfits do much of the install at my home. Echo Systems does all of the pre-install work at their site so all the troubleshooting can be done there before it gets put in. Doug was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with my tsunami of questions. I'm sure I'll be using Echo Systems for my home video needs in the future.
