I've been coming here about two years and have never had an issue. There is always a machine available.

Boy, this place is busy on a Monday night at 5 pm! The techno music is blaring too! I stopped in to wash my comforter along with a few other things that wouldn't fit in my apartment-sized washer/dryer. They offer various sized washers for reasonable prices. The washer I chose costs me just $1.89! I crammed my stuff in and trotted off to get a bite to eat and escape the loud music for half an hour. Dryers are huge and really heat up. At $0.25 for eight minutes it should cost you no more than $1.50 to dry your load. When I was last here about a year and a half ago they were in the process of updating their machines. Now, you pay by purchasing a card from a machine on which you add any monetary amount that you wish. You slide the card into the machine and press start. Easy as pie! No coins needed! Just do the math ahead of time to calculate what you think you'll need. You can always add more money. They also offer a wash and fold service for $1.00/# for the first five pounds and then $0.85 for every pound there after. read more

it was busy today, but the laundry bag has alot of machines different size and i was done less than 2 hours. i will be back every 2 weeks. machines wash clothes really good, prices are great & i was able to buy soap at a good price. read more

Clean store and machines, convenient location (right next to a CVS), tons of washer and dryers in a variety of sizes, no wait, safe place, friendly staff, very reasonable pricing. Based on another review, I saw that if you add $20 to your card you get $2 added for free; this worked for me! You can use credit cards or cash to load your Laundry Bag card but need cash to buy detergent, softener, etc. Everything you need in one spot. I will be back! read more

DO NOT DO YOUR LAUNDRY HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. MOST DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THEIR WASH AND FOLD SERVICE. If zero stars were an option, I would use that rating. Let me start with I have never actually written a negative review online, I always like to praise businesses I've had good experiences with, but I have to warn others about this place. My washing machine recently broke and I needed to use a laundromat for cleaning but was heading out of town for the weekend, so I dropped about 20 lbs of laundry off including work clothing/scrubs and a set of sheets for their wash and fold service on a Saturday midday. I even supplied my own detergent for my sensitive skin. I was told it would be ready Monday afternoon so I picked it up that evening after work. Woman handed it to me in the hamper I dropped it off in wrapped in a plastic bag inside with clothing and my detergent. I thought what a great service, less than $20 and laundry finished when promised. I could not have been more mistaken. I get home and start unpacking the clothes from the bag they were in and find that almost all of the clothing and the sheets are covered in grease looking stains!!!!! None of the clothes I had dropped off were stained mind you, just needed regular washing. I take the clothes back the next day and explain problem and the manager Vicky offers to try and rewash the clothing. I say ok but I am going to need compensation if the stains don't come out as many of the items were new scrubs and under scrubs and my sheets. Its a very long story but in short it has now been 2 weeks, I have been there 5 times so far, and no one who works there including the manager Vicky who says she's been there 14 years will help me or give me the business owner's contact information. I tried calling and they just hang up instead of resolve the issue. They are not taking any responsibility for the damage they caused. It seems like there must have been bleach or something that mixed with material on washer door and when dragged out of washer and put into dryer, stains occurred. (I have a friend who runs a laundry business in another state and explained that the machine was likely not cleaned out from previous wash with bleach in it causing the issue) They are actually trying to blame me. As it stands, I left a phone number and my clothes with them to show the owner Kevin and it has been a week and of course Kevin has not called me. Kevin Kane is his name from doing a google search. They would not even give me an email for him. So I have hundreds of dollars of ruined very new clothing, next to nothing to wear to work and a business that wont even speak with their customer and acknowledge their wrongdoing. I CANT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH, DON'T GO HERE. They also have an unresolved complaint on the better business bureau website. It has been an absolute nightmare for me and a big loss of money. There are plenty of other places to do your laundry. This owner doesn't care about the quality of his business and is never on site. Don't end up in my situation. Kevin, if you happen to read your reviews, though doubtful, please contact me because I am definitely owed compensation for the damaged clothing and at a bare minimum a conversation to discuss the issue. I am happy to update this review if appropriate action is taken and my issue is addressed. read more

I've been bringing my laundry here for over a year for their wash and fold service, and have never had a single issue. Today, I dropped off roughly 30 lbs of laundry. Included in that were 2 blankets (the fuzzy throw kind - the ones that literally weigh 2 lbs each), which I bring each and every time I drop my laundry off. The lady who helped me today (whom I have dealt with on multiple occasions, and has WASHED the same 2 blankets she saw today - I'll leave her name out of it, waiting on a call from the Manager), all of a sudden wants to charge me extra for them. I tried explaining to her that I bring them every single time I do laundry, and I have never had to pay extra. She said "well, I don't know why other people haven't charged you extra." I said "YOU'VE been one of the ones who hasn't charged extra." This conversation went on until their phone rang, so I waited patiently for her to hang the call up before filling out the receipt, so we could finish the discussion. A couple of minutes in, she put the caller on hold and asked if I needed something - I said yes, I'm just waiting for you to finish the call so we can finish the conversation." She said "well this is my sister in Guatemala, so I'll be on for a while." Copy that. If I didn't need laundry done so badly and this place wasn't so convenient to my job, I would've left and taken it with me. I've been nothing but a loyal customer and a good tipper. The one star is for the wash and fold laundry service. They only charge $.85 a pound, but it is not worth it. I dropped off my laundry an Sat. and was to pick it up on Monday, but it was not ready. They called me Monday night and said that they put a rush on it and that I could pick it up at 10:00 PM. I was waiting another 45 min for someone to do a bad job folding my laundry, half of which was stuffed into a bag without being folded. Take my advice, spend the extra $.15 and call Wishy Wash. They'll pick up and deliver your laundry, cleaned, folded, wrapped and bagged. read more

Been here twice since my washer died a few weeks ago. Not bad for a Laundromat. The first time I went was Sunday afternoon and it was unbelievable packed! The second time was much better, not nearly as many people. More of the machines are out of service than should be, and they are not cleaned as often as they should be, but it's decent overall and the best one I could find that was close to Rockville. I do really like that they use cards not coins (but then again maybe that's the new norm, it's been many years since I've gone to a Laundromat). Can't speak to the wash-and-fold service. read more

Clean, bright, about a million machines, and nice people working. Only not is that there's no WiFi. It would be great to get some work done while waiting for my clothes. But otherwise it's everything you want from a laundromat. read more

When I am on-site at a nearby client for several weeks at a time, I found this has been the best place to get my laundry done. Very clean and a majority of the machines work (and were recently upgraded). Even when crowded I have always been able to get an open washer and dryer. read more

Clean facility. Plenty of machines. I like that it is card operated. You just load money onto the card as needed. As a female I feel perfectly safe coming here alone. Also very reasonable prices. read more

The attendant was very friendly and helpful! The place was clean and they have huge washers and dryers. I was able to get my laundry done quickly. The restroom is also clean, which is a good sign of general cleanliness. There's also a nearby puppy store, if you're there with kids, it's worth visiting to pass time :-) read more

I've been going to the Laundry Bag for the past year and think it's a pretty good spot. I go during workdays so it's not usually too crowded. It may be completely different on nights and weekends. The machines work as advertised. It's better in many ways than doing wash at home because you can use multiple washers and dryers. You can get it all done in an hour. read more

I went to Laundry Bag for the first time today with my elderly friend to wash her comforter and bathroom mats. What a pleasant surprise. Lots and lots of machines and very friendly and helpful staff. I needed help figuring out the machine that dispenses the cards (instead of pumping quarters into the machines) and also assistance with the dryer. A friendly attendant assisted without my having to seek anyone out. The machines are fast, and my friend and I enjoyed sitting and watching the wonderful diversity of people passing by. Plus, laundry we used to do at another horribly dirty place with awful personnel cost about half the price. A good find! read more

There is no attendant at this location. I was there today and tried multiple times to get a $4.19 card in order to wash a comforter. The machine that dispenses cards didn't seem to work. Now I have to go check my credit card to see if I was incorrectly charged. Suggest you not waste time going to this laundromat. read more
