Love how they do my nails and toes. They've got me hooked on dipping, my nails stay strong and grow out fast when dipped. It's like a screen protector for my nails. I have yet to find a place that has competitive rates and fantastic service. If you don't call ahead you may have to wait though, this place is often busy even on a Friday morning. My dipped nails last about 6weeks and my toes (gel) usually last 4-5weeks at peek condition. read more

Go to Michael for your nails and Lee for your eyebrows/waxing. I liked this place so much I regretted leaving my very bad job that was near the salon. I live 45 minutes away and considered driving all the way to Pinellas just to have Michael do my nails. They treat their regulars well also. One night, I was their last client of the day and when I went to leave, my car battery had died. They noticed me still in the parking lot waiting for roadside service and they turned their lights on again and brought me inside to wait. They called a friend to come see if he could fix my car and when he couldn't, everyone waited with me till the guy from the dealership arrived. It was definitely above and beyond! read more

Michael is amazing. He can make my nails last and not lift for 3 weeks if he needs to! He also does amazingly beautiful work. I make sure to book with him anytime I come back in town and I wish I could find someone nearly as good up in Gainesville. I should have known by the ghetto clientele who want the best but complain about service so they don't have to tip that this wasn't going to be the best salon. It was decently sized but crowded. I asked if they had time for a walk-in and they said they could take me "now" but I ended up waiting 10 minutes for a chair to actully open up. 3 different techs kept rotating out to work on my nails for some reason. None were particularly friendly, but none were mean either. Prices were meh and it took over 2.5 hours just to get dip nails. They had tons of color options but they all looked so similar and nothing stood out. With all the color and style options available these days, the selection was disappointing. I picked a color that was supposed to be purple but it came out black with red shimmer. The tech at the time kept saying that it would change color once she finished and got the top coat on. It did not. The manager felt bad at the end and said they would fix it for me if I didn't like it. I appreciate the offer, but there's nothing to fix other than to rip this off and start all over. So I kept it. Once I got out to my car I saw that about a third of the nails were cut crooked too. Maybe it was an off night, but I was overall not impressed and won't be back. read more

This "owner" is the most unprofessional person I have ever seen. Does people's nails when all salons are supposed to be shut down, tells people to go around back and cash only. SO shady and unprofessional. He tells people different prices and overcharges extremely which is ILLEGAL price discrimination. On top of all this, and entire Facebook feud has started because of him PERSONALLY attacking people who comment on his behavior. DO NOT give this man your money. Went here for my first set of acrylic with gel overlay nails. Let me say first...this is NOT a spa type place. It's in a questionable part of town and it isn't the cleanest or nicest looking place. There's no wine offered & no relaxing music playing. But I had heard so many good things about their work that I decided to try it anyway. Had a good experience the first time. The customers were friendly & everyone was chatting....And raving about Michael's nails. So I requested Michael to do my nails & I thought they looked beautiful. Two weeks later I had red lines in about six of my nails. Did some reading & found out that its called "ring of fire" & it's caused from drilling too hard into the nail bed. Went back to Michael for a fill in today. Showed him the red lines in my nails & all he said was "it's nothing to worry about, will grow out." Then he proceeded to file away at the same area. When he was done doing the fills, I could still see where the first application began & then the second...he did not blend the fill in with the old. When I expressed that I wasn't pleased with the way they looked, Michael just said "that's the way it is." He totally did not give a damn. What's worse is I had recommended this salon to my friend who also went with me & she was NOT happy. She paid more for the same services she gets at her spa salon & her nails looked nowhere near as good as they usually do. Also, I personally cannot stand it when the technicians chatter back and forth in their foreign language while looking at the customers. I find it disrespectful & rude. This didn't happen on my first visit, but on my return they were all either chatting away on their cell phones or with each other the whole time. Look...if I'm going to pay for a service...I want the technicians full attention and focus on the product they are giving me! I did not get that today! I will not be going back here. Busy doesn't equal good. Lesson learned. read more

They do a great job. Shellac is $20 and it lasts at least 2 weeks on me. That's rare because I have healthy nails which don't house polish for long amounts of time. They are reasonably priced, have great hours and do a swell job. read more

My nails come out fantastic every time I stop by; Michael does wonders on my nails and I get complements on them everywhere I go. I do wish the parking was better and the salon was better (does feel cramped) but not a big deal. Definitely a hidden jewel. Highly recommended read more

This place is an ethnic nail shop and run out of a small strip mall shop, nothing fancy, but they are nice people and do great work for a little less than the average nail shop's, (probably due to less over-head, and more productivity than the fancier places?) I am a guy so can only attest to their basic mani, pedi, (usually 28 or 30 bucks + tip, I think?) I saw another reviewer that was upset this was not a fancy spa like outfit and they don't serve wine, or kiss butt, but hey if that's what your looking for even the outside before going in will give you a clue they are not that type establishment? So turn around and go to a fancy place at I-Mall if your looking for white starched uniforms, wine and cheese service, and employees who tell you what you want to hear so your ego is massaged, you probably won't be happy here no matter what the staff does? I myself love the place, (Holly) always does a great job on my hands and feet, finger nails and toe nails, and massages your feet and toe's really well. the place is clean and they sanitize the wash basin and equipment before each use. Just a basic kind of place with decent prices and good service....the ladies I see there all seem very satisfied with their fancy nails and custom paint jobs, and they appear to all be repeats to me?
