The cashiers were efficient, fast, and friendly considering the number of orders they were juggling. We ordered several items, including (2) flounder and shrimp plate, a large shrimp dinner, a shrimp and chicken dinner, and extra hushpuppies. The sides on the platters included rice and gravy, fries, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. Overall, the food was good. One thing I particularly loved was that the shrimp were CLEAN! I can't stand gritty shrimp (you know, when they haven't been deveined properly). Thankfully, that wasn't the case here. The rest of my family enjoyed their food too. While we may not drive a great distance just to go again, if we're in the area, this place will definitely be on our list. If you're around, I recommend you add this spot for some good fried seafood to your list.

I didn't necessarily love that there were cops standing guard at the entrance, but the bar's own security staff and bouncers were really nice, which isn't something you see at every one of these places. The only downsides to the Hot Fish Club were that many of the plastic chairs in the outside area were broken and cracked, making it kind of hard to sit a large-sized group like ours (they had a lot of wooden tables, but they were all taken), and that the restroom situation was awful. According to the girls in our group, the actual, physical restrooms were disgusting, forcing them to use the giant line of porta potties. This isn't a huge deal for guys, but it was a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Other than that, Hot Fish was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by!
