I'm going to I had a small work order that needed to be fixed such as a clogged shower and sink. But the maintenance team came in minutes after placing my work order in. The leasing agent, Danielle, confirmed pricing and assured me I would be moving into a renovated unit. However, upon move-in, the pricing was different, and the unit was NOT renovated as advertised. To make matters worse, my original move-in date was changed, and at the last minute, my unit was switched because the apartment I was supposed to move into was not ready on time. This created unnecessary stress and inconvenience. After moving in, the issues only continued. The apartment had multiple maintenance problems, including a non-working AC. I had to go an entire weekend without air conditioning before maintenance finally installed a new unit on Monday. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem--overnight, the AC began leaking water inside the apartment. I reported this issue to the assistant manager, who assured me maintenance would return promptly. As of now (almost 1 PM), no one has shown up, and my bathroom floor is completely flooded. Additionally, the bathroom sink is in poor condition--it needs to be resurfaced, as the paint is chipping and there is visible rust. What is most concerning is the lack of professionalism and security. Danielle's boyfriend is frequently present in the office and, even more alarming, has been entering residents' apartments without permission. This is a serious safety and privacy concern that should not be happening under any circumstances. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and unacceptable experience. There has been a lack of communication, accountability, and urgency in resolving serious issues. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before signing a lease here.

I had not lived in an apartment for several decades. I sold my house in PA and had a good friend here in Kingwood be my eyes and ears to scope out a nice place for me. The back of the complex abuts up to a dense forest. My living room faces that way and it is just an awesome backdrop when watching TV or just relaxing. That sight was the first thing I saw when I moved in. My excellent dog Sibby has also been welcomed here. The office also has an EXCELLENT coffee/tea room to sit and enjoy a cup. One can even use one of the computers in that room while your chilling with your drink. And if you look to your left while you are on the computer, one will see the beautiful pool.

When I first contacted GCA they had no pre-furnished units already available due to demand, so they quicky negotiated with several properties for available units and when I picked one, they completely furnished it in 2 days. One suggestion: clarify prior to signing up just what you'll get. I was expecting a king-size bed but was provided with a queen-size. No worries though - I asked GCA to swap out and in 2 days had a king-size bed in place. $50 delivery charge, nothing extra per night/month. The king bed seemed a little better than the queen was, but neither was top-notch in comfort. Otherwise all other furnishings were good quality and very clean. Accessories were about as complete as one would want for a short-term lease (no blender but I bet they would have provided one if I'd asked). I'll be recommending GCA to others at my company.

Over priced crappy apartment!!! It may look nice but…read moreeverything inside works terrible. To get maintenance to come over takes a a couple months. Whenever my washer was broken. It took up to a month and a half to fix. And when I put in several work order for a leaking faucet. They never came. The lead maintenance guy didn't even knock when he came to fix my washer. The amenities may seem nice but half the time it's closed or don't work. For example I need to use the computer t print something out. The computer couldn't turn on and the print was out of ink and paper. I went to the office to notify them they said they'll fix it. So when I came back a month later to print something out again it was still out of service. Final complaint, the parking is terrible I have 3 cars and in order to park you need to have a parking pass. They only give out 1 parking pass per person. They said my other vehicles can't park on the premises unless I get a garage. it's so inconvenient the that these guys are penny pinchers.

I made a major move from Florida and the staff and even the maintenance crew are so polite. The amenities are fantastic. The pool area was just redone. The multiple gyms and business center are nicer than most resorts and hotels I've been to and I travel for a living. I would highly recommend Avaya Kingwood to anyone. Oh I forgot to mention there is a fantastic plaza literally steps away from the property with grocery stores , restaurants, and food spots.
