Maricopa Botanicals is one of my favorite plant stores in the valley! They are located in the Culdesac apartments, Tempe's new carless community, however there are plenty of visitor parking spots for the surrounding shops. They have a wonderful collection of succulents and tropical plants, and so many fun pots to choose from. If you purchase both a pot and plant from their shop they'll repot it at no extra charge which is a fun perk. I love visiting when their shop dog Luca is around, he is so friendly and might even follow you around the shop if you're lucky. All the staff have been so friendly and knowledgeable about plant care, making Maricopa Botanicals truly an all around wonderful business. If you're a plant lover then make sure to drop in and support local!

We stumbled across this cute little plant store as we were exploring the Culdesac neighborhood. In addition to a vast selection of plants, this shop also offered some skincare and personal care items which we really enjoyed. They even offer repotting services at a fair price! The clerk was super friendly and excited to tell us about their products and services. We will be back!

This may be my favorite plant nursery! I was warmly welcomed by the shop owners and shop dog. They have lots of cacti, succulents, and lush houseplants to brighten any corner of your home. All of the plants look healthy and cared for. They have many specimens you won't find at Home Depot or Lowe's. In the back there's a Plant Bar where they will pot your plants in any of the eclectic and handcrafted pots they sell. Prices are reasonable, if my wife wasn't with me I would've gotten carried away xD I can't wait to come back to check out their new inventory and pet their cute dog!

Located in the Culdesac area, my husband and I happen to come across this cute botanical store. The outside was very inviting. I'm a sucker for everything tiny and the store carried little cowgirl hats for your plants. How adorable! The store has a variety of plants and succulents. Not to mention pots to put them in. While you're shopping, there's a cute dog roaming the store. Always a plus to have an associate show you around. LOL. I'd come back again to see new inventory.

My wife came into this little gem about a year ago and has wanted to return ever since. We decided to take a date day and stop in on a recent Saturday afternoon. I can see why she loves this little place. Despite the stores small size it has a lot of plants and very nice hand made plant pots. They fit a lot in the store, yet it does not feel cluttered. I work with small businesses doing customer service. I love this place not only because it's a small business but the customer service is amazing. Very comfortable shopping environment where help is offered when needed but certainly not pushy. The plant and pot prices are very fair. Everything is high quality and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their plants and pots. We purchased 2 plants. One with a pot and one without. Very knowledgeable plant care advice was provided both for the plants we purchased and ones we already have. Maricopa Botanicals is an amazing small business offering competitive prices, high quality and excellent customer service. We will be back again.

I didn't think I'd find one in Arizona, but lo and behold... SummerWinds Nursery had it! The tree was healthy, vibrant, and honestly felt like a little miracle. In Filipino culture, calamansi is considered lucky. People plant it to attract abundance, place coins and grains at the base for prosperity, and use its juice in cleansing rituals. My mom was over the moon when I bought her one. The staff at SummerWinds were super helpful and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their plants and their customers. The nursery itself is beautiful--peaceful, well-organized, and full of unique finds. Prices were reasonable. You can also get rewards here if you return again. Great value! Special thanks to Quinn for helping us load the tree to my car. If you're looking for something special or just want to be surrounded by plant magic, this place is worth the visit. And it wasn't just your ordinary one they had the unique one whose leaves were different and thrives in the very hot climate of AZ! I was also able to locate some Queen Palms that were a great addition to my backyard that they delivered and planted for me. I simply selected the ones I wanted and scheduled the delivery and planting. The only hiccup with my experience was that the post to secure the trees was an added fee at delivery. My only recommendation would be to disclose that at purchase so there's no confusion with the folks doing the delivery and the planting. The planting was $50 per tree which includes all the soil enhancements for planting. I had 3 trees and each added pole/post per tree was an added $15 per tree and what was collected at that point was $200. Somehow that math didn't quite add up --- maybe the gentleman was overheated at that point? Lesson learned at this point but would have been nice to know up front as I had already paid for the delivery fee and the trees and was made aware of the $50 per tree PLANTING fee to be paid at delivery but those posts were sure pricey!

Unfortunately, after taking classes here for 6 months, I can't say that I will return again. Im…read morekind of relieved that I used up my last pass tonight. I don't like giving places bad reviews, but I also know that as a paying customer, I deserve to be treated right. This kind of feels like when you first start dating someone, everything seems great, but then as the months go by, you realize, oh dear, I've made a grave mistake and need to get out of the situation. Thats exactly my feeling about this studio. Read on to see why you should go elsewhere. They opened about 6 months ago and I saw their ad on IG so stopped by for a free class. The class was ok and I then talked to the owner. What's interesting is that she said I could not sign up for their new student special of 3 classes for $40 because I just had a free class (even though it was their grand opening - I should have known then to not sign up for anything), and then proceeded to tell me about memberships. I rarely get memberships as I like to cross train and check out various venues. So, I signed up for 10 classes for $250. Its a good rate for reformer pilates, so I thought maybe it will work out. But sometimes gut instincts are spot on and I should have listened to my intuition. Owner then joined a few classes at the beginning when they first opened and randomly she would be in the classes I took, but she was pretty unfriendly and didnt bother to say hi to me even though we were in several classes together. That definitely didnt leave a good impression on me. She was kind of stuck up and said she works in corporate sales or something and that this is just a side hustle. That definitely left an even more sour taste in my mouth. One time I signed up for an early afternoon class but by the time I got there, the class was canceled and it become an open reformer class, so you do the exercises yourself. I didnt want to waste the class and already drove over, so did teach myself the sets but that wasnt ideal. The interior of this studio is weird and just not very aesthetically appealing to me. I am sensitive to light and the florescent lighting just does not work for me. I feel like I am doing reformer pilates in a hospital. I also found the machines to be a bit gross after 6 months as the straps are quite worn now and sometimes the floors are kind of dirty (lots of hair) and makes me want to leave this place quickly. The sound system in the studio is awful and very scatchy sounding. Cheap equipment. The cubby area is also a very tight space and so when class is over, its like a traffic jam to get out. Bathroom has only one stall, so can be a wait. To be honest, I just kind of dreaded this entire 6 month experience, but I am not a wasteful person so I made sure I used up my 10 passes. The other thing is that there is a 6 month expiration on packs you buy, so beware of that, very short window to use your passes. Their class sign up system is also clunky and I didnt enjoy that either. I prefer MindBody. The reason this place gets two stars and not one is that most of the instructors have been good and they do really try to teach a good class. The problem is everything else including the owner. I just refuse to support a business where so many things aren't working for me. Overall, its probably one of the worst studios I've experienced and I've been exercising for a good 25 years and practiced a lot of different yoga & pilates all over the world. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere where youre treated right and actually feel excited about the classes you're taking. Im definitely breaking up with this place.

When I first called, I was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes by a young girl only to have somebody pick up the phone and hang up on me without saying a word. When I called back, a different person answered and transferred me back to the same young girl, who seemed bothered and uninterested in helping. She kept speaking over me while I was trying to convey what I was hoping for and repeatedly tried to upsell me even after I clearly explained my budget of $150. This was not my idea of a grand gesture for a birthday gift. I specifically asked for peonies to be the centerpiece, and what was delivered felt lackluster, underwhelming, and lacking creativity. The arrangement my daughter received looked much smaller and far less impressive than what I expected for the price paid and the expectations set. It did not feel grand or special at all. Overall, the customer service and final product did not match the experience I hoped for. I will not be using their services again. Edit: I've also included the pink bouquet I purchased from Imagine Flowers (Scottsdale) at the same price, delivery included.
