Pure Life is such a cute jewelry shop, everything here is handcrafted and smithed by Jenny the artist, creator, and business owner herself and it's all done right here in the shop. I'm super happy to be able to spend my dollars with a local business and not with a large retailer, I know who my dollars are going to and can see the craftsmanship right here, first hand. I love that the creations here are very dainty in design, meaning not much is over the top, big, or clunky. It can be tough to find minimal design pieces from a lot of retailers or other local creators, where everything is a wire wrapped crystal or long dangling earrings with a chunky stone, Jenny does a spectacular job designing such great, elegant pieces. Something I learned today is that they open up five or so spots each month for a custom design session where you can come in and help design your own one of a kind jewelry right here in the workshop. Occasionally, they also offer jewelry making classes, where you learn how to create your own custom jewelry. Reach out directly or check the website for more info on those classes. A recent addition to Pure Life is permanent jewelry. This is where you have a chain fit to your wrist, your ankle or wherever you want a permanent bracelet added and then the two ends are soldered together. While you *can technically remove, the intention is that it's there until such a day you decide to remove it. Wear it in the shower, swimming, hiking, whatever the occasion, it's always there. Such a fun idea for those who might be into that.
