For the parents, there is a comfortable sitting area including work stations if you want to bring a computer. The cafe appeals to parents and kids alike. They have all the favourite kid snacks and hot and cold drinks for adults. I had the butterfly pea lemonade and it was refreshing. It is on the pricier side and both adults and kids (aged 1 and up) have an entry fee. However, the quality of the activities does justify the price. Staff are professional. Instructions are clear. Recreational gym is small, but nice community of people. No one bothers you, the majority are older…read moreadults and there are no serious weightlifters in this gym. There can't be, the maximum dumbbells are 60s and there aren't even barbells or a chest press/squatting station. Fitness instructors are helpful enough, but you can tell some hate their job and their boss. (lol) They are mainly there just in case one of the seniors have a heart attack. I would only recommend this gym to beginners who only lift 1-2x a week or for people looking to lose weight, or senior people. There is a lack of functional machines and heavier weights. For everyone else, this is a nice quiet place. Other facilities: they have a nice kidzone area, decent swimming pool, and 2 big skating rinks mainly used for a teenagers hockey league. They also have a nice basketball court (not included in membership), but the rate is too high and no discount for people with memberships.

Honestly, if you've been to, and especially hosted, a kids birthday party, the value of a venue being available to have all to yourself - especially when it is this large "covers a multitude of sins...". There is the meeting room as mentioned. It's not necessarily all that small, only that given the size of the whole place and that you could have a party for up 60 people, it doesn't match the scale of the rest of the venue. Our daughter's birthday was held together with one of her cousin's, so there was only seating for about 25-30 which pretty much only accommodated the children - leaving most adults to stand. The play area is huge though. There are 2 or 3 play structures which varied in height/difficulty which gave options to children of different ages. There is a massive inflatable jumpy castle which has a slide on the side of it. There was also several options for younger kids too which was nice, as other places often just have one tiny structure, which doesn't leave much for them. There were other things too, such as air hockey, and a basketball game to only name a few. There is sort of nerf gun area too which we simply didn't use, but perhaps that's worth checking out. As I mentioned before, there's a lot of space which gives it a more relaxing feel. Kids can run at full speed and you don't really worry about them bumping into each other as you would most other places. Since you can book the whole area privately, it's also nice knowing that everyone there is associated with your party. It even gives the adults a better chance to visit and I think everyone felt the ease of the place. And as another reviewer mentioned: the place is CLEAN! Even the basic party package includes: tableware, pizza and cleanup. That, along with the comfortable feel of the place really makes having the party hassle and stress-free at every stage. You're welcome to bring in your own food apart from pizza (which you can buy from them). Our guests enjoyed the venue, and of course the kids loved it. For us hosts, we all remarked about how much we enjoyed our time and how relaxed we felt. The feeling of hosting a great party with such ease made it a perfect experience for me..even with the few imperfections.
