    Ski/snowboard/tubing hill

This outdoor skating rink has become one of my favourites in the GTA! The rink is in great condition. It's not your typical oval shaped rink, but rather more naturally shaped and long. Just be prepared to dodge some speeding and sliding kiddos (and adults) from time to time. There are lockers and washrooms nearby and lots of seating for putting on and taking off skates. There is also a skate rental ($10/2hrs) where you can choose between figure skates, hockey skates, or adjustable skates. There are so many other things to do here! Playground for the kiddos, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, skateboard park, petting zoo, food trucks... just to name a few!!! Two large parking lots - it was easy to find a spot on a Sunday afternoon.

This park is the big craze in Brampton. Oh my doggie god. It's not that great we went there in a Sunday at 1pm they have a farm with no animals . Looks like they all put away for winter. They have a nice pond with some ducks and that's about it. No big deal. I hope I am not taken there again.

Chinguacousy Park really covers ALL the bases: Ski hill Beach Volleyball courts Play grounds Skateboard park Soccer fields Football fields Loads of free parking Paths for running Water park (well...place they spray water at you) Paddle boats Petting Zoo Mini Golf Tennis Courts (coming soon) Now, ski hill is a relative term...it's actually a small mound of buried garbage. No really, it used to be a dump, they've covered it up and now it's a ski 'hill'. (I've taken toboggans down steeper longer hills than this...the difference is there was no t-bar to take me to the top after a run). People that grew up in Brampton tell me this is where all their school ski trips were to. They're doing a lot of renovations in the park right now, 13 brand new volleyball courts just completed (which they run a great volleyball league on). They are also working on a building that will act as a brand new ski chalet for the winter and a patio/restaurant/bar for the summer. It looks like it's going to be really nice when it's finished. Anyway, Brampton is lucky to have a park like this so close to their city center.

Amazing park it has a petting zoo too with horses, Lamas and goats. Great swings my toddler had so much fun.

My niece and nephew had their birthday party at this park today. You can buy a package where you get 2 park staff, tour of the petting zoo and barn. You get a face painter, private picnic area, and mini golfing, apparently for a great price. I'm definitely heading back there sometime this summer.

This is an amazing park! I love all the animals (hogs, goats, ducks, chickens, and even a pelican!) and all the foilage.

Some photos from the greenhouse at chinguacousy park in brampton. This place is a wonderland!!!

It was so relaxing walking by the water and through the forest. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold - just right! We walked by many families fishing at the river and also noticed the tree top trekking/zip line above. We want to return to try this next time! There were families having BBQ's at picnic sites which were reserved (guessing you can book them online/through the park ahead of time). They also had a splash pad and pool - wish we brought our bathing suits!! They also had an ice cream truck positioned close to the splash pad and you know we had to get some dipped cones after our hike in the woods. Bring your bills/coins - the truck is cash only. Note, if you have one of the Canada 150 park passes, it does not work for free entry here. For entry for four adults we paid $26. All in all, Heart Lake is a lovely place to visit super close to Brampton.
